Once again, I ask: What do you believe it means to "keep" (Greek word - tereo) His commandments?
Interesting mailman, every time someone presents the Greek definition of a word, I am amazed.

tereo
Definition
  1. to attend to carefully, take care of
    1. to guard
    2. metaph. to keep, one in the state in which he is

With all due respect.. I'm not able to read anything like that..

Having been taught by the Holy Spirit.. my Bible contains No commentary ...
I can't help but wonder how the Holy Spirit could teach Luther as well as bestow its choicest blessings upon Newton, and yet you are unable to read anything like what they say. I am also curious what the Holy Spirit tells you about Galatians. For my part, Galatians and Acts are right and true...and easy to understand.

I can only witness by my own path. Galatians and Acts are true it is only understanding that is incorrect... the word of God is alive and cuts through us.

I am curious if your belief that the understanding is incorrect was shared by any Christians between 100 AD and the age of enlightenment. The reason I say this is because of my beliefs on the locusts of Revelation and new ideas that appear in this age of apostacy. I also wonder about your answer to the questions that I posed to the thread originator, namely:

Whether or not Christians can eat bacon in your opinion?
Whether or not the Talmud is accursed or educational?
Whether or not Christians should support (with money and/or implements of warfare) the real estate desires of the state of Israel?

The questions you have posed have been responded to by me. Even all this verbosity you have cut and pasgted has been referenced by me.

Now As for Paul's authority above all men living, allow me to ask you, Who has more authority than Jesus Christ Who is above all men?

Why do you bring up locusts? People making others go back to the law as givne by Moses? You have not read anything to this end in my posts. You are an inquisitor, a witch hunter.

I cannot see you as anything other.

I knew wen you mande the "bacon" remark that you are insinuating against Jews, be they fulfilled or otherwise, and you owe all a proper clarification or apology for this inuenhdo.

Read what I have posted. Nothng against Paul, though I do find it interesting you quote Paul witnessing to himself.

I do not fear study of Paul's letters,, but Jesus Christ is my Authority for and on Salvation, for He is All.

If you do not like people obeying the law or eating certain foods, or observing certain days, then your Paul is a liar in your esteem for he teaches all who practice, however they practice and whatev er, if theyi do so in the sight of God in good conscience, they are not in sin. Eating, not eating, observing, not observing.

So not only are you attmpting to steerme and others wrongly, you are calling Paul a liar in not learning what he teaaches. So what is it? I suspect you just do not like Jews.

Well, in lieu of direct answers, I say: Everyone is free to do as they'd like. But if at the end of the age, the locusts pop out and start once again trying to ensnare us and yoke us to the law of Moses, then that requires a direct rebuttal. Plain and simple speech was good enough for Martin Luther. And it was good enough for the Apostle Paul, whose authority is higher than anyone alive today. But these days, I guess Buddha-talk is supposed to reign supreme?

1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

BUT BY THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST.

Is Paul lying on Jesus here? Or is it instead others who are suspect?

I do not think we should support Israel in rebellion...

What we eat does not make us unclean, so each decide what they eat but the Messiah said we should not eat that which is offered to idols.. so we should consider this.

The oral law of the Jewish people? Not for us... we have our New Testament.. we are warned they are not Jews but say they are.. synagogue of Satan.....

The dispersed has returned to their nation. All eyes will soon be on them.

I will never understand how or why those in the body of Christ would want to divorce themselves from all of Israel. Jesus Himself, born a Jew, came to the Jews first. And it was their refusal that brought salvation to us gentiles.

Otherwise, all of Israel would have a the King they thought they were to get rather than a Saviour, and we would be under them. Was not His plan.

He has never forsaken any of His people, but the times have to come to fulfillment in order for all His plans to be in effect.

He died for ALL the World!

You keep aligning yourself with Jesus, while you argue against Paul. Paul was PERSONALLY chosen by Jesus in a personal encounter. And he was divinely inspired. If your ideas go contrary to the plain meaning of Paul's writings, then you are not with Jesus. You are free to do whatever you'd like with your life, but as soon as you start preaching DOWN to traditional Christians with new "interpretations" of the Bible, you are heaping accursedness upon yourself.

The Mystery of Israel's Salvation
Rom 11:25 For I want to let you know about this secret, brothers, so that you will not claim to be wiser than you are: Stubbornness has come to part of Israel until the full number of the gentiles comes to faith.

Rom 11:26 In this way, all Israel will be saved, as it is written, "The Deliverer will come from Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

Rom 11:27 This is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."

Rom 11:28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake, but as far as election is concerned, they are loved for the sake of their ancestors.

Rom 11:29 For God's gifts and calling never change.

Rom 11:30 For just as you disobeyed God in the past but now have received his mercy because of their disobedience,

Rom 11:31 so they, too, have now disobeyed. As a result, they may receive mercy because of the mercy shown to you.

Rom 11:32 For God has locked all people in the prison of their own disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

You are quick to anger :)

Many on this website is using Paul's teaching to push their agenda's. Paul kept the law, even when he came to know Jesus.

This is simply not true. In fact here is Paul rebuking Peter for his hypocrisy in distorting the Gospel and compelling Gentiles to follow the Law.

[h=1]Galatians 2:11-21New King James Version (NKJV)[/h][h=3]No Return to the Law[/h]11 Now when Peter[a] had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed; 12 for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. 13 And the rest of the Jews also played the hypocrite with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.
14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the Truth of the Gospel, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you[b]compel Gentiles to live as Jews?[c] 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
17 “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not! 18 For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

[h=2]Definition of anti–Semitism[/h]

  • : hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a religious, ethnic, or racial group

I do not suppose Merriam Webster is good enough for some of the inadequately informed and/or educated, but this is the definition anyway.

I really despise peoe's hating anyone simply for his ethnicity, nationality, religion, color etc. Jesus has taught us to love our enemies, therefore to those who despise in themanner mention, know this, I do not want any of you to be cast into the lake of fire, therefore I believe I do love you all, but I do despise people's hating others. It is not of Jesus christ.

Friend you are calling Paul a liar:

Act 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

and he is stating in other places in Acts also that he kept the law.

God bless friend

It looks like here that Paul is telling the "gentile Christians " not to get circumcised which is totally against the law of Moses.

Deu 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

Deu_30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Jer_4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
