Okay, now we're getting somewhere.
Who has a copy of that?

Also, I know Italians that have calendars every year with Saints being celebrated everyday.
I bet they had a mass at the Vatican for it today.
The Italians started the Mafia also.

I'm asking because I don't know.

Within the Biblical definition of saints, why are they titled saints?
Some saints are so called because of what they endured for their faith.

Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the vernal equinox, which is why it moves around on the calendar. The Jewish calendar is lunar also, and sometimes the Passover and Easter (or Resurrection Sunday) do line up.
ooh, full moons and equinoxes.
sounds spooky to me.

Today we celebrate St. Anna and St. James, the parents of Marry the mother of Jesus, his grandparents.
There's mostly like a mass of celebration at every catholic church today.

Does anyone have a Bible verse for that?

Please, no catholic haters, how much can one take?
Not so I'll quote some Bible next post

A saint, also historically known as a hallow, is a person who is recognized as having an exceptional degree of holiness or likeness to God. Depending on the context and denomination, the term also retains its original Christian meaning, as any believer who is "in Christ" and in whom Christ dwells, whether in Heaven or on Earth. In Anglican, Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Lutheran, and Oriental Orthodox doctrine, all of their faithful deceased in Heaven are considered to be saints, but some are considered worthy of greater honor or emulation; official ecclesiastical recognition, and consequently veneration, is given to some saints through the process of canonization in the Catholic Church or glorification in the Eastern Orthodox Church.

While the English word saint originated in Christianity, historians of religion now use the appellation "in a more general way to refer to the state of special holiness that many religions attribute to certain people", with the Jewish tzadik, the Islamic walī, the Hindu rishi or Sikh guru, and the Buddhist arhat or bodhisattva also being referred to as saints. Depending on the religion, saints are recognized either by official ecclesiastical declaration, as in the Catholic faith, or by popular acclamation (see Folk saint).

According to the Catholic Church, a "saint" is anyone in Heaven, whether recognized on Earth or not. The title "Saint" denotes a person who has been formally canonized, that is, officially and authoritatively declared a saint, by the Church as holder of the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and is therefore believed to be in Heaven by the grace of God. There are many persons that the Church believes to be in Heaven who have not been formally canonized and who are otherwise titled "saints" because of the fame of their holiness.

On 3 January 993, Pope John XV became the first pope to proclaim a person a "saint": on the petition of the German ruler, he canonized Bishop Ulrich of Augsburg. Before that time, the popular "cults", or venerations, of saints had been local and spontaneous.Pope John XVIII subsequently permitted a cult of five Polish martyrs. Pope Benedict VIII later declared the Armenian hermit Symeon to be a saint, but it was not until the pontificate of Pope Innocent III that the Popes reserved to themselves the exclusive authority to canonize saints.

Take note. This is quoted from the Bible.

"And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost." (Matthew 1:16-18)
Jacob translated from the Greek into English is James.
That's confusing, isn't it?
Oh well.
Let's celebrate anyway.

Because they were the PARENTS of Jesus!

The CC could name anyone a saint.
They do have to have performed 3 miracles.
An exeption was made for Pope John Paul.
It's usually someone who had a great impact on their society
or in the Church itself...or were a great example to many.
Also, some are martyrs that died for their faith because they would
no renounce it.

If any of the "saints" / disciples saw you celebrating them they would immediately tell you to stop and to give all the glory to the Lord
