Apparently, the Generals told Trump, the trannys were a problem. Good for Trump, listening to those who know whats going on.
If they told Trump about the tranny problem,I wonder why they would then tell the news reporters that they didn't know that Trump was Implementing the ban on transgender In the military until after Trump had already Implemented the ban.

Im not saying I personally am against what Trump did because I'm with Trump on this one.But I just wish Trump were truthful,Trump Informed after the fact, not consulted.

Well apparently he never mentioned it to his coworkers because even though this is an HR person's nightmare and will influence every person in the Pentagon, a spokesmen said the tweet was the first they heard of it. Not even a "If the press contacts you about transgender, say..." If the spokesperson hadn't seen the tweet, the response could have been "What ban?" Sound like something an sane government department would allow to happen when about to face a controversial policy change? The place I work for, which is just a financial services college/publisher would never dream of leaving it's employees so unprepared! Everyone, not just those likely to deal with the public on important issues was given at least a basic concept of the DOL as soon as we found out changes could be made. But the Pentagon left it's employees with absolutely nothing? So how many generals other than Mattis were consulted? Because clearly none of them were wise enough to warn the PR department. Which suggests not many (If any) others.

Pentagon and Trump don't appear coordinated on military transgender ban - Business Insider
So what? I work for a government agency, and the public knows more about what goes on with our work than we do. Always been that way.

You don't know when Trump has the meeting. It could have been 6 months ago. He is required to make a decision immediately. He could have been sitting on it to see if Congress would make a move. Congress couldn't agree, so he used is lawful authority to move it along.

I just Googled it and according to USA Today, 41% of transgenders have attempted suicide. So I was off by 20%.
Consider the fact that transgenders are 1% of the population. So 41% of a 1% demographic has at least attempted suicide. That's an astronomical figure
USA today is a leftist rag, so those numbers could be lower. I wonder if there is some academic research available?

Thats the thing, we don't know, but we do know people with severe mental illness don't belong with access to machine guns and nuclear weapons. We also know, the United States armed forces can't afford to accommodate 100 different gender identities.

I am interested in how this will turn out. If these people are discharged from service, will they have to find health coverage? (regular health insurance)
Will they be compensated for the time that was left to be served, since they are not leaving on their own accord?

They more than likely will have to find a job and a place to stay which takes time. What happens if they can't find employment to sustain themselves?

I have read that there are 7-15,00 thousand transgender military personnel, that's alot of folks to end up on some sort of public assistance.

I was also wondering if they will put the draft back in place.

What is the brazen lie you speak of?
You asked if a person is still a liar if they lie openly.

Aren't we speaking hypothetically?

But if we're not, just check the link to the ny times article I posted. You really don't have to look hard to find one.

You call things "leftist rags" so maybe the numbers are accurate.

Now before you get mad,
Lol isn't that exactly the measure you're judging with

Send them here if you don't want them. We could use a bigger army now that Trump doesn't want to be our big brother anymore :p

That wasn't what was being discussed when you interjected with the "brazen liar" comment.

That's just him throwing out clumsy hyperbole. No politician would openly say those things. It's almost self-directed satire or at least it appears that way.

The fact you zero in on it almost proves my point.

So when he claims to have no need of forgiveness, or that he's the best POTUS ever, or that he has no conflicts of interest...

Has the liberal media firestorm began yet (or perhaps riots) over Trump's remarks?

As I understand it, the exec order doesn't drum these people out. It merely excludes more from entering.

Again, another advantage to doing this legislatively- they would have more time to make alternative plans.

This was something that had to be done TODAY. But again, I don't think his primary motivations had anything to do with trannys in the military.

Donald Trump bans transgenders in the military, despite promising to protect the LGBT community's rights.
this maybe a shock to you but in America we do not have "LGBTQ" Right's

We have the Bill Of Right's and those right's are given to every American Citizen. It is a false narrative and untrue that the President this one or any other would lie to those with a sexual preference like gay , lesbian, and bi-sexual aka queer. Transgender is too a false narrative, serious abandonment of reality and a cognitive dilemma . Transgender unlike a sexual preference , requires everyone to self- deny empirical evidence, sound science and nature and accept this Lie of transgender. NO ones Right's in the USA Trump other person's right to not agree with a serious identity Crisis's.

The left tell a lie for so long they believe that "LGBTQ" are an actual race of people. when they are a bunch of letters made up of sexual preferences and an identity issue.

transgender is a graphic form of Child abuse supported by irresponsible Parents and a public educational system and political influences with deep pockets.

transgender do not have the right to serve in the Military if they want preferential treatment that other cannot have.

Good, and you can pay for the surgery so they can change... which, BTW, is why they joined the military -- free surgery!

do you judge other people as harshly?
Do all men in the army with any condition that would benefit from some kind of treatment enter ONLY to get it?
