One of my watches just died. It used to be my dad's. Its a genuine swiss military watch. Anyway, I replaced the battery less than 2 years ago. Aren't watch batteries supposed to last longer than that??

Two years is pretty darn good for a Watch battery........don't be such a tightwad...........spring for anudder......and this time figured out what it cost.....tax and all, divide by 24 and put that amount of money in a Battery Replacement Account each month......next time it will be a breeze to replace.

A battery lasting two years sounds pretty good to me! Things aren't really made to last any more. That is why our land fills are full, and the powers that be are looking to jettison our refuse into outer space. Then where will the garbage pickers go? How will they survive? They will need special anti gravity shoes or something, and a space suit :p
