Hi everyone...I just want to share a story with you...My friends daughter who is 37 had a liver transplant when she was six, she was the second child ever in England to have a transplant, the first child who was a boy and had the same op died, his name was Ben Hardwick...My friends daughter had the op, but after the operation and when she came to she came out of intensive care, she came back brain damaged, through time her brain injury's were extreme, the little girl who loved to sing, dance and all the other little things that girls do she could do no more, no talking, could not communicate in any way, could not see properly, had a stroke, back in nappies, needed feeding etc...Through the love and care of her mum and dad, although this young lady still can not speak, still in nappies, still has to take meds to keep her alive, she dances, sings through the noise from her voice box, i have yet to meet a more happy content person, being around her for many years, she has taught me never to judge a disabled person, to be happy when times are hard, God uses people for HIS purposes, it`s not for us to question the whys and what for, God healed my out look and also more importantly, God taught my children through the sickness of this person never to look down on those who are different......xox...
