You don't need to worry if you're nice or not. There are far greater more solemn concerns. If the above is what Christ has done in you, and has transformed you into there is great concern.

For the record, I wouldn't blame that on Him.
LOL No..I got angry at your self righteous blat. You were the one that was worrying that I am not nice. I certainly do not need you to be concerned about me. I've learned better that those things. Like most Woofers I look out for other people. I care about them...Even people like you.

Not nice is not bad. It simply means gruff, blunt, undiplomatic etc. So relax and please don't pray for me. I have trouble enough.

Actually it's much more than mere reverential respect. Sometimes it is utter terror.
It's like my dad was in real life. I loved and respected him, but also feared him. When he told me to do something, I got up and did it out of love, respect, but also fear. If I didn't do what he told me to do, I knew there was consequences to pay. That's fear.

Same with my heavenly Father. When He tells me to do something, it is out of love, respect, and also fear, I do as I am told. Sometimes I disobey and pay for it. But I do fear Him.

Same here.

Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, Hallelujah

The wickedness of Men

Transgression speaks to the ungodly within his heart; There is no fear of God before his eyes. For it flatters him in his own eyes Concerning the discovery of his iniquity and the hatred of it.The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.He plans wickedness upon his bed; He sets himself on a path that is not good;He does not despise evil.[Psalm 36:1-4]

“There is none righteous, not even one; There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God;All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one.”“Their throat is an open grave, With their tongues they keep deceiving,” “The poison of asps is under their lips”;“Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness”;“Their feet are swift to shed blood,Destruction and misery are in their paths,And the path of peace they have not known.”“There is no fear of God before their eyes.[Romans 3:10-18]

In these two passages, we see those who do not fear God. Now, look at their characteristics, and that they are at a variance with Him. Actually, they are, more or less, shaking their fists at Him.

Perfect love casts out fear. God is perfect love so why would you fear Him? Unless you're not right with Him? Probably.

You should look in the context of the verse you used. The fear here mentioned has to do with the judge. And as children of our Father we do not need to have fear to be judged. That's right. To fear God means to show respect to Him.
