It's sad QuickenedByHim You show yourself as a self righteous religious nut. I'm sure that you don't mean to be one. Lighten up and learn the Word instead of religion. God is not raising a bunch of lawyers.
That reminds me of a church sign. :)

John 4:23-24
King James Version(KJV)

23.)But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24.)God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Spirit: πνεῦμα pneûma, pnyoo'-mah; from G4154; a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze;

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:8

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5

Look at your screen, do you see the word coming from the wind or the light?

If you were truly crucified to the world and spiritually immersed into Christ, you wouldn't be insulting me with your unprofitable humor. I am speaking the truth about abiding in Him and being led by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14) as we are called to be, kept from evil and now made one just lie Jesus the Son of God and God the Father as qoted:

"As obedient children, not fashioning ourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: but as He which has called you is holy, so be you holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be you holy for I am holy." -1 Peter 1:14-16

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." -Romans 8:14

"However when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it to you." -John 16:13-14

"I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them, as You have loved me." -John 17:23

"We know that whosoever is born of Gods
sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not." -1 John 5:18

this is the 'goal' of those whom have been called and chosen and elected, it is an on going
battle until the very end, just as Paul has explained to each of us in his writings given to him
from our Saviour - obviously, He attained the most human perfection as is possible for those
who obey and serve our Master...He was rewarded for his calling and was so grateful that it
would break anyone's heart for what he did/endured, for the Love he had for his Master's calling...

We are predestined, but we must choose our path. Salvation is not from works, but we must have good works. Once saved always saved, but we can loose our salvation. In the same way we'll never be perfect, but we must be perfect (i.e.,aim for perfection).

Actually, it's neither but rather an honest assessment.
This has piqued my curiosity...
Do you mean to say that being "perfect" is walking in truth (light), not in BEING perfect but in seeing the truth of who you are instead of walking in the darkness of self-deceit?

I believe that's it's next to impossible to lead a perfect sinless life after one has been born again.

I don't think that's the goal of the race. I think maybe the goal is to keep trusting and growing in trust of Him.
If a man could trust Him perfectly, I think the Spirit would bring him to sinlessness.

Anything that is not of trust (faith) is sin.

Huh? You do like contradictions don't you? LOL Consider though...If God say "Be perfect" Then we CAN be perfect....

Matthew 5:46-48
King James Version(KJV)

46.)For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47.)And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48.)Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Somebody might ask,how do we be perfect like our FATHER In heaven.

Ephesians 2:8-11
King James Version(KJV)

8.)For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9.)Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10.)For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

11.)Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Hebrews 12:23
King James Version(KJV)

23.)To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just menmade perfect,

After our spirits have been made Perfect we seek to purify ourselves even as we are pure, presenting our bodies a living sacrifice which Is a reasonable thing to do.
+++

Romans 12:1-2
King James Version(KJV)

1.)I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2.)And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

So then there Is made Perfect which only GOD can do and then there Is In the process of perfecting the body to the new creature you have become.

Amen to those verses! Yet you deliberately misinterpret those verses to teach sinless perfection. Go back and read post #9 and post #40.

What from God's word makes you believe "that it's next to impossible to lead a perfect sinless life after one has been born again."

That's a very unbiblical mindset to have.. People that say its not possible to live perfectly call Christ a fool for commanding us to be perfect, righteous, and holy through the quickening of the Holy Spirit.

I have not misinterpreted any of these verses, you would see that if you would simply harden not your heart and hear His voice in all situations, ceasing from your sinful works and entering into the true and holy rest for God's people (Hebrews 4:1-12)

Having ceased from sin after suffering in this present world which we are literally crucified to, being now permanently led by the Holy Spirit of God, not influenced by the world, nor hearing the worlds voice, but only His; living the rest of our time in our flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. (1 Peter 2:4:1-2)

so, a young lady at my church today gave a testimony that she accepted Christ at a young age, but then began to really struggle with thoughts of not being good enough for Jesus, not being perfect. she said those thoughts eventually got suicidal. your rhetoric could have had a terribly negative effect. you should stop your " I'm perfect " lies.

Of course we can be perfect! Will we sin occasionally? Of course, as long as we are in these bodies we will sin on occasion. So how do we be perfect as God said? "1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
God cleanses from all unrighteousness,......So He makes us righteous......That's perfection. When you goof up and sin again, well Confess your sin and He is faithful and just......

You should know that these thoughts the girl was fighting were NOT her thoughts. But they were Satan's words in her ear.

I claim to speak the truth. I am led by the Spirit of God and His strength and grace through the Holy Spirit quickens me, enabling me to be a faithful servant and seek the kingdom of God above everything else in my entire life, glory be to the Most High only.

To say "None of us are perfect" is wrong. Some Christians actually do walk perfect. Its not hard at all if you know the way of it. Its clear how its done. All you need to do to find out how is read the Word, and listen to the Holy Spirit. He'll open it up to you....eagerly.

Your accusations of "deliberately misinterpreting" those verses were nothing more than a poor attempt to deter people from the truth by being someone who disagrees and has hardened their heart from having an actual discussion about this and instead saying "admit that God doesn't quicken you and make you perfect."
