You just said this dagallen, "I am not avoiding the scriptures in any way, I just don't accept your interpretation but I accept the interpretation Jesus gave on who is the only true God but you reject his interpretation just as many has done throughout the years," The truth is you do avoid the scriptures big time.
You have "tunnel" vision when you quote Johgn 17:3 but yet you avoid the scriptures that clearly show Jesus Christ to be God. Many of us have give you the scriptures but you just turn a blind eye and I know why? It's because you have no idea how "RECONCILE" verses that "APPPEAR" to contradict each other.
You think that Jesus Christ calling the Father, the only true God," somehow contradicts numerous other passages within John's gospel, what the Apostle Paul said at Titus 2:13 or what the Apostle Peter clearly stated at 2 Peter 1:1. If your going to exclude Jesus Christ from being deity, then in order for you to be consistent Jesus Christ must also be disqualified from being the savior of all of mankind.
I have give you verses from the OT saying God alone is the Savior and then have given you verses that say explicitly Jesus Christ is the Savior. In the OT, God alone is the first and the last and in the NT at Revelation 1:1-19 Jesus Christ is the first and last and at vs8 He says He is God Almighty.
So, when the Bible clearly reveals that there is only one God, one Lord, one Savior, one creator how do you reconcile this with John 17:3? Furthermore, you don't even consider the context of John 17:3 where Jesus is praying. You also don't consider the context of Philippians 2:5-9 which explains why Jesus Christ submits to the Father's will which is because God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ so naturally He is functioning as a complete and total 100% contingent or depended on His Father just like we are suppose to do meaning that Jesus Christ is our example. So dagallen, how do you reconcile what you say about John 17:3 to what the Apostles said about Jesus Christ being God, and that's with a big "G."
IN GOD THE SON,
