well, I don't think unbelievers are going to be on here and posting about Jesus. Especially in this forum. And if they are, they usually get banned right away.

I just wondered who we are ministering to as you said we are here to do that.

Bible discussion...emphasis on discuss.
 
Just making a point here, not really into this discussion other than reading...but didn't Jesus say at one time, who is my mother and who is my brothers? That all those who are His are actually His family. Not saying He didn't honor them, but He didn't let them interrupt ministering.

Jesus is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God.
You blasphemed the Holy Spirit by agreeing to vile remarks made about the mother of the ONE WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT.

IF you believe in the Trinity, of course.
You made derogatory statements of the mother of the 2nd person of the Trinity when become flesh.

Do you and the other posters here believe Jesus is HAPPY about the remarks made about HIS MOTHER???

And you want to "teach" Others.

I was generalizing that that is our calling.
I wonder why we do not spend time building each other up so we can effectively go out and do that instead of tearing down a part of the church of Christ

It does not, but anyone with half a brain and some study will know that it is stupidity to eat pig purely from a scientific point of view.

That does not mean everyone who eats it is stupid, rather they are uneducated on biology of both humans and pigs.

The word you call meats just means food. Pig was not considered food to a Jew because of Gods instruction.

Post 90 on page 5 is the start of all this
some people were offended by this while many others embrace it.
It is causing a division that will not be solved without first some apologies.
 
I notice a few people have made an argument that we are free in Christ. suggesting we can eat whatever we want.


Well of course you can, You can eat rubbish that destroys your body just because you want.

You can take the body Jesus redeemed and smash it because of your carnal lusts for food.

You can make you stomach your God and claim its your freedom in Christ.

You can take the temple of God which is your body and destroy it form the inside out just to gratify your taste spuds even though you don't need it.

Sure why not.


Sure who cares that it has been proven over and over again that these things cause heart disease and diabetes and cancer etc. I am sure you can just pray and it will all go away. I am sure Christians who are free in Christ don't die of these things do they? Oh no wait they do. But I guess that is ok.

Now to be clear, I am not actually trying to be nasty or condescending. I wrote it like that to make a point. I tell you this because its easy to misunderstand when written.

Lets use some common sense with the brain God gave us.

It might have something to do with how dead we have reckoned ourselves to be daily. Maybe?
