this is really not 'funny vs 'funny',
but this is exactly how we 'both' feel about you'!!!
You have to be thinking of someone else. Cee is the most laidback, easygoing member other than tourist, that we have. This post was unusual. But, everyone has a limit.

Amen! Judas was an unbelieving, unclean devil who betrayed Jesus (John 6:64-71; 13:10-11).
Quote: Judas speaking to Mary
5)“Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and given to poor people?6) Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it. 7) Therefore Jesus said, “Let her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of My burial.8) “For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.”

Judas was never saved, he was a liar, a thief, and a traitor from the beginning to the end.

Is this why Jesus sent him out in Mathew 10 to heal and preach the gospel?
Sometimes I feel like you think Jesus didn't know what He was doing.
In Matthew 10:1, we see that Jesus gave His 12 disciples power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. This would include Judas Iscariot, yet Jesus referred to Judas Iscariot as an unbelieving, unclean devil who would betray Him (John 6:64-71; 13:10-11).

This was no surprise to Jesus. (John 6:64) - But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. Apparently, Judas believed that Jesus' name has the power to cast out demons but did not truly believe in His name (John 1:12) and become a child of God, but instead was the son of perdition (John 17:12).

Jesus knew what He was doing and was not fooled by Judas. In John 13:18, Jesus explains - I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, 'He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.'

Why do you suppose Jesus kept Judas with Him all those years?
Jesus explained in John 13:18. Scripture was fulfilled.

Judas was lost.
Became saved when he was with Jesus.
And by not obeying and trusting Jesus, and trying to help Him, Judas ended up betraying Him.
Where does the Bible say that Judas was saved? That is your assumption based on your own human logic and not on Scripture (John 6:64-71; 13:10-11; 17:12).

Why would Judas kill himself except for grief in harming Jesus, whom he loved.

We know he was lost in the end because Jesus said so.
You call unbelief and betraying Jesus love? Judas was lost all along and he may have even felt guilty over what he did (worldly sorrow), yet Jesus calls Judas what he truly is - Judas is a devil! 2 Corinthians 7:10 - For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.

Paul speaks to this internal conflict in the present tense...Not doing what he says he will do, doing the things he states he will not do, considering himself wretched and the number 1 chief sinner among men (in the present tense)......the spirit born of God and the fallen flesh WAR one against the other in all born again believers.....regardless of those who deny it!

I think this is called the "Holy Hush". The overwhelming presence of Holy Spirit in the room. It is awesome to experience and it's a sobering experience. No back flips. :)

Also is a repenting...I would say deep repentance. You just have to be there.
Now we have a holy hush.

Scripture please...

You're getting the beginning of Jesus' ministry mived up with the end.

You always make scripture suit what you believe.

What I asked is...
WHY would Jesus send out an unbeliever together with the other 11 apostles?

You do seem to think that Jesus didn't know what He was doing.

Why would Jesus send him out?

I already explained this to you using Scripture. All you have is assumptions based on your own faulty human logic. I recently ran across the question you are asking on the Never Thirsty Christian website. Maybe this will help you to understand better - https://www.neverthirsty.org/bible-...sciple-if-he-knew-he-was-going-to-betray-him/

Wow! I have NEVER SEEN Cee rebuke ANYONE! Stephen, come on brother. I've almost begged you to show some love to your brothers and sisters. You are bursting with pride. Can you please pray for the Lord to remove that pride, and for once humble yourself in sincerity?

New International Version
Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that "We all possess knowledge." But knowledge puffs up while love builds up.

New Living Translation
Now regarding your question about food that has been offered to idols. Yes, we know that "we all have knowledge" about this issue. But while knowledge makes us feel important, it is love that strengthens the church.

English Standard Version
Now concerning food offered to idols: we know that “all of us possess knowledge.” This “knowledge” puffs up, but love builds up.

New American Standard Bible
Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes arrogant, but love edifies.

Those with knowledge(Biblical, financial, scientific, etc.) have to walk a tightrope to keep that knowledge from building arrogance & pride within them. If they don't, no one can get along with them.

College professors, politicians, those in the religious hierarchy, military strategists, & millionaires/billionaires are examples of such people who become overtaken with pride & cannot see what's happening to them.

Tacticians on CC have pride issues because they take great pride in their ability and strategies to battle with true believers.

So, yes, it can happen to anybody.

As a matter of fact, I do have issues with pride. All the time. Many preachers do.

God knew Paul dealt with it & even sent Paul someone to keep him humble:

2 Corinthians 12
1Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. 3And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— 4was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak. 5On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses. 6For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this,so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.Paul knew in his Apostleship folks would look to him as some great one. He says he has got the goods, so to speak, but he refuses to flaunt it, knowing people would put him high on a pillar of honor.

7Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself!8Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

11You have made me act like a fool—boasting like this.[SUP]c[/SUP] You ought to be writing commendations for me, for I am not at all inferior to these “super apostles,” even though I am nothing at all. 12When I was with you, I certainly gave you proof that I am an apostle. For I patiently did many signs and wonders and miracles among you. 13The only thing I failed to do, which I do in the other churches, was to become a financial burden to you. Please forgive me for this wrong!

Paul knew the power of his calling, & at the same time considered himself nothing. That was the only way He could be the apostle God wanted him to be.

Jesus made it plain how the disciples/apostles were to conduct their ministry:

Mark 10 ESV
42And Jesus called them to him and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 43But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,[SUP]d[/SUP]44and whoever would be first among you must be slave[SUP]e[/SUP] of all.45
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
