It's number one.
There's a verse for this . No Bible right now.
Maybe this? Matthew 23:14 - "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

I spent 4 years in the Navy, but was stationed in Hawaii for 3 years with Marines. The kind of Marines that you want on your side in a bad situation. ;)
Glad to hear it.
The Marines and the Navy go together.

kind of off subject but

_____________________________

James 3:1

“My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”
_____________________________

when i read this it can mean a few things....

the two most obvious to me

are

1. If you teach the word its because you know it well... and as a teacher who has recieved much wisdom from God
you will be held to a higher standard

OR

2. same but instead of a higher standard as in, needing to reach a higher level of what THEY DO

they will recieve a greater PUNISHMENT for failing after recieving these blessings (or teaching falsely, and casting stumbling blocks)
Hi McGee,

#2 ....... a stricter judgment.

~Zep 1:7 Remain silent in the presence of the Lord GOD, because the Day of the LORD approaches, and because the LORD has prepared a sacrifice for those whom he has invited to be consecrated.

Silent in Hebrew is hush. Holy Hush is just a coined word.
middle index to your cheap quote , holy hush. is that quoted in the new covenant.
oops the problem with death, is who caused it and why.
romeo and juliet. when did they ask,how much do i need to bee in a hive etc.
the up side, you can pay, romeo and juliet, and call them police, and ask them never cross in to, poor mans country, when you know nothing about poor , (oops them that pay your wages, blind you, to keep it short) the problem with the command lights out. is whos dream are you in with no light to a picture, that needs half darkness.

2 Peter 2:20

“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.”

Yeah right.......highly unlikely......!
? He posted what happened in the church where he and his wife were ministering. Did you all read it?

I did. I have heard of this and it's called a Holy Hush.

And I believe him. I wonder why anyone would question it. God interacted with the Hebrews all the time and we have a greater covenant.

The Teachers are not Condemned, but more strictly judged.
