One and the same, Jesus is using metaphors in parables...

Some of you are completely clueless, and that's being nice.

Chaff is part of the wheat. It represents our flesh nature old love

Tares are a completely separate entity to wheat

The tares appear exactly like the wheat.
That is part of the deception, and Christians need discernment to understand who they are. As Christ said "By their fruits ye shall know them".

And just as Satan can transform himself into "an angel of light", his ministers can transform themselves into "ministers of righteousness". All the more reason for Christians to actually STUDY the Word instead of quibbling over trivial issues. But before anyone can properly study the Word, they need the indwelling Holy Spirit.

well spotted Enow. It is the Church.

Wheat = Church
Tares = Satanists in Church
The wheat are His disciples; saved believers that are abiding in Him & His words

The tares are saved believers that did not depart from iniquity. They did not look to the author & finisher of our faith to help them lay aside every weight & sin. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 prophesied that many shall depart from faith in giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils; the church at Thaytira in Revelation 2nd chapter are warned to repent of their spiritual fornication or else be cast into the bed of the coming great tribulation as the Lord will kill His children with death in according to their works.

So there is a sheep that hears His Voice and follows His voice

Then there is that sheep that followed the stranger's voice; hence tongues without interpretation used as a prayer language and for self edification as this supernatural tongue can be found in the occult which is why the church at Thyatira were referenced as those that speak the utter depths of Satan for which they speak. This vain & profane babbling that does not come with interpretation nor understood by any foreigner is gained by the apostate calling of seeking to receive the Holy Spirit apart from salvation as that iniquity was at work in Paul's days from which he reproved it in 2 Thessalonians 2:13-15 reminding believers of the tradition taught of how they had received the sanctification of the Spirit & the belief of the truth at the calling of the gospel.

So in that sense, yes, they are Satanists in the churches, but they know it not. They can be saved believers that use tongues as a prayer language; that seek to receive the Holy Spirit "again" and "again" apart from salvation for other sensational signs in the flesh which is usually in confusion as many believers ( many houses ) fall in those movements of the "Spirit" which is not really the Holy Spirit coming & going on those saved believers when He is already in them as promised.

But Jesus must get the sheep that followed the stranger's voice because He will lose nothing of all the Father has given Him ( John 6:39-40 ) as they will be made to hear His voice and be of the one fold & one Shepherd. John 10:1-5,16

We have statements of imminence in John the Baptists statements "The ax is already at the root of the trees" and "His winnowing fork is in his hand" - yet the futurist "theologies" stretch these statements 1970+ years and counting into the future in the same way they do with "the time is at hand".

There can be little doubt that in the ears of those who heard John that the harvest was under way and soon to be completed and when they heard John preaching about the wrath to come they would not be thinking thousands of years into the future:

Mat 3:7 And having seen many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming about his baptism, he said to them, 'Brood of vipers! who did shew you to flee from the coming wrath?

If the wrath to come was 1970+ years and counting in their future why would John or the Pharisees and Sadducees be concerned about something that would happen well after they had died?

Another thing that is missed or down played in futurist "theologies" is John's role as announcer of the soon to come Great day of the Lord:

Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

Now if the great day of the Lord was not imminent then it would seem that John arrived a couple of thousand years too early.

Paul speaks of the wrath that John the Baptist was proclaiming:

1 Th 2:16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

We know from history that the wrath came upon them in the Roman invasion of Jerusalem in 66-70 AD.

John stated the wrath was about to come - not thousands of years into the future.

Some of you must really attend some very degenerate churches if you have Satanists sitting with you.
1 Timothy 4:1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;[SUP] 2 [/SUP]Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Revelation 2:
[SUP]21 [/SUP]And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.[SUP] 22 [/SUP]Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.[SUP] 23 [/SUP]And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.[SUP]24 [/SUP]But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.[SUP] 25 [/SUP]But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

Saved believers that received tongues without interpretation by receiving what they believe was the Holy Spirit apart from salvation and so they assume it is a prayer language are of that apostate calling where other saved believers seek to receive the Holy Spirit again for other sensational signs in the flesh apart from salvation like the "holy laughter" movement, Pensacola Outpouring, Toronto's Blessings, Ernest Angeley's Healing Crusade, and etc.

Same evil tree and every fruit from that evil tree is an evil fruit.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-15 is the reproof towards the iniquity that is the cause for the prophesied falling away from the faith by reminding ALL saved believers of the tradition taught of us that we have received the sanctification of the Spirit & the belief of the truth at the calling of the gospel. There is no other calling... no other Jesus.. no other spirit.. no other gospel for saved believers to seek after to receive for they are complete in Christ to rest in Him when they had come to & believed in Him to be saved.

In nature the chaff is the stems, leaves, roots etc of the plant that's necessary to produce a seed but it's worthless after the seed has been produced.

Matthew 13:

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Matthew 13:[SUP]36 [/SUP]Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.[SUP] 37 [/SUP]He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;[SUP] 38 [/SUP]The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Yes.. the field is the world, but the children of the kingdom are being received into the kingdom of the Father above while those saved believers that offend and do iniquity will be taken out of His kingdom as in excommunicated ( temporarily to be resurrected after the great tribulation. )

Take note where the furnace of fire is in how it was to be the end of this world.

[SUP] 39 [/SUP]The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.[SUP] 40 [/SUP]As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

So the field is the world and the abiding saved believers are harvested and thus received into the Father's kingdom above while those not abiding in Him are cast into the furnace of fire that is in the world that will end that world as we know it.

[SUP]41 [/SUP]The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; [SUP]42 [/SUP]And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. [SUP]43 [/SUP]Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Another way to apply His words is that the field is the world and so the angels reaping the children of the kingdom is to "harvest" them which is to take them out of the field as out of the world; hence pre trib rapture event.

Betcha they could not discern the difference either....the angel of light that gives the fat "tithe" check is surely not the Satanist, but that single mother of 3 who smells like cigarettes and that has a "questionable" wardrobe...she is a Spirit of Jezebel

The biblical feasts really explain to us the order of events, and they are well worth studying.

The Barley Harvest came first, which is the Feast Of Firstfruits at Passover. This seems to represent Christ, and the Saints raised with him.

Then came the first wheat harvest at Pentecost 50 days later. This seems to represent the gathering of natural Israel between AD 26 and AD 73.

Then comes Tabernacles, The Feast Of Ingathering, at the end of summer, where everything is harvested and brought before God. This includes the summer wheat Harvest, (a second wheat harvest). This represents the final judgement. Jesus refers to the second September harvest, 4 months after the Spring harvest, in John. (4 months = 120 days, which is a very significant number pertaining to the Church)

John 4

34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

TRUTH....But Rev. 14, 16 and 18 is the exact same event. That is another thread for another time however. As for the OP, the Wheat and the Tares I would like to challenge your thinking since you believe as I do that there is a pre-tribulation rapture.

Think of the Wheat and the Tares as both having to grow together until the END. Now tell me who are the Wheat on this parable. It can not be the Church because we know there is a Rapture, it couldn't even be the Church of you were mid or post tribulation because the Church still doesn't grow with the Tares until the END. The Church at some point goes to meet Jesus in the Air, we know its pre-trib, but for arguments sake, the pre/mid/post all have a Rapture to meet the Lord in the air.

So who are the Wheat? They can only be Israel, whom God protects in the Wilderness for 1260 days, as the wicked of earth are brought to judgment. They grow together until the end on EARTH. The Church is in Heaven marrying the Lamb.

So the Wheat is Israel and the Tares are the Wicked me of Earth.

j7 obviously you didn't read the post, they grow side by side, since when does wheat have the ability to kill tares, it is spirit and flesh, each seed is you, and yes the tare could represent, someone who will attempt to suck the life out of you.

your flesh and spirit are always side by side, old man, new man, the old man, (flesh) will always be trying to kill the new man.

when the time come lord jesus will take your flesh, and destroy it.
Which spirit?

follow the dictates and deeds of the flesh
or find out what pleases the LORD, and follow the dictates and deeds of HIS SPIRIT

Your note of a struggle between flesh and spirit implies (to me) an internal struggle within self and won or lost through and by self

Well of course what we believe or don't believe doesn't change the facts of what is going to happen.

I am only quoting Meggido; not replying to him FYI

The only reason he is picking on the KJV is because it exposed the kind of tongue he has as not of Him at all.

Like I said... you can use any Bible to preach the gospel and people can be saved by correct verses in any Bible, BUT it is false teachings that leads others astray and it is selected errant verses in those modern Bibles that leads other astray, taking the meat out as in changing the actual meaning of His words so that believers cannot discern good & evil from that changed message, especially when it is used to support a false teaching or for that matter a false supernatural tongue.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 prophesied in ALL Bibles that many shall depart from faith & give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils in these latter days; hence saved believers are believing every spirit coming over them apart from salvation to be the Holy Spirit when it is not because according to the tradition taught of us ; we had received the sanctification of the Spirit and the belief of the truth at the calling of the gospel; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-15

2 Corinthians 11:1-4 warns in ALL Bibles about those who preach another Jesus, another spirit ( Holy Spirit ) and thus another gospel to receive, but again saved believers who experienced what they believe was the Holy Spirit falling on them apart from salvation IGNORES that warning not to pay heed to that.

John 16:13 testified in ALL BIBLES that the Holy Spirit CANNOT speak for Himself, but speaks what He hears and that is why God's gift of tongues is for speaking unto the people in their native tongue ( 1 Corinthians 14:21 ), and thus can NEVER be used by the Holy Spirit as a prayer language nor serve as a sign toward believers that they had received the Holy Spirit apart from salvation ( 1 Corinthians 14:22 ). ALL BIBLES have these truths .....

All it takes is a changed message in the modern Bibles to IGNORE all of those warnings.

Romans 8:26-27 in ALL modern Bibles testify WRONGLY that the Holy Spirit gives His own intercessions directly by Himself and that sounds are being made when He does that.

The KJV is the ONLY one that keeps the truth in His words in that even the groaning of the Holy Spirit CANNOT be uttered; hence no sound at all. For Angel53510 to go to the Greek, alaletos, is defined as unspeakable and unutterable. So all those modern Bibles are wrong for implying otherwise that sounds are being made here in Romans 8:26.

That is why verse 27 exists to explain how the unspeakable intercessions of the Holy Spirit's are known to the Father. The "he" is Jesus Christ, the Word of God, that searches our hearts as confirmed in Hebrews 4:12-16 as it is this "he" that knows the mind of the Spirit as He is the only Mediator between God and men in according to the will of God in presenting any intercession to the Father. Why? Because any intercession the Son presents to the Father, whenever the Father says "Yes.." to any intercession, the Son answers the prayers so that the Father may be glorified in the Son for answered prayers as testified in John 14:13-14 in ALL BIBLES.

Matthew 6:[SUP]6 [/SUP]But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.[SUP]7 [/SUP]But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.[SUP]8 [/SUP]Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

So praying in tongues is not of Him when He prefers us to ray in secret and that the father knows before we ask anything in prayer so that testify to no necessity for the Holy Spirit to pray for us OUT LOUD.

So many saved believers have fallen away from the faith and refuse to see that tongues cannot be used as a prayer language for explaining why interpretation is not coming or why no foreigner is understanding it and especially when they are all alone when this tongues gets going when they want to pray; hence interrupting their prayer time with the Lord.

So yes... you can preach the gospel out of any Bible.. but no... you cannot defend the faith out of any of those modern Bibles when they all support tongues to be used as a prayer language to tongue speakers that have gained that tongue by apostasy of thinking that was the Holy Spirit that came over them in giving that kind of supernatural tongue which can be found in world's religions, idolatries, and even cults in christianity and not just the occult.

They ignore all the other truths in scripture in harping Romans 8:26-27 and thus reading their kind of tongues into 1 Corinthians 14th chapter ( ignoring verse 21-22 ) and even reading their experience into receiving the Holy Spirit apart from salvation into scripture ( like Acts 19:1-7 BUT disciples of John the Baptist's were not believers in Jesus Christ ) BECAUSE they want to believe their second blessing and that tongue which never comes with interpretation is of God.

So I emphasize relying only on the KJV for the actual meat and meaning of His words because keeping the faith is the good fight when all it takes is a couple of verses to make believers doubt the truths in God's words everywhere else in that modern Bible.

So that is how the tares are in the church, growing with the wheat.

Fortunately, not every one that is aware of that kind of tongue as not being of Him, needs the KJV to see that truth. BUT in reproving those astray by the scripture, you will need the KJV and the Lord's help to open their eyes to see the truth in His words in the KJV as lining up with the truths in the rest of the scripture which it is not doing in all modern Bibles.
