yes, g777,

you are a well known 'mocker' as well...something that we both have noticed
about you and your posts, is that there is a 'lack of Christ's Love and Humility' -
this is a really big 'TELL'...

not sure why we need to follow a link here since the copy/pasting of Ellis's site is a almost daily occurrence

if we read those long copy/pastes from G7, we have been following teaching to avoid anyway

In order to keep the deceitful lies from going on and the constant "twists" of what is really being said- I will post this again about the words of Jesus.
now that is true irony

did Jesus preach the gospel or not?

Jesus did not preach the Mosaic law

that would have been over 600 things He taught

can we get some truth in here please?

kindly answer what Matt posted about Jesus

Jesus preached the gospel

whose gospel are you listening to limey? the gospel of hyper grace or the gospel of Christ Jesus?

see, only one can be Lord

Mat 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Mat 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Mat 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

teaching in their synagogues

what was he teaching?

apparently, it was the GOSPEL

Does this sound like Jesus was teaching the Mosaic Law?

[SUP]17 [/SUP]From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

[SUP]21 [/SUP]“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You shall not commit murder’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ [SUP]22 [/SUP]But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

[SUP]27 [/SUP]“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’; [SUP]28 [/SUP]but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. [SUP]29 [/SUP]If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. [SUP]30 [/SUP]If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell.

[SUP]43 [/SUP]“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ [SUP]44 [/SUP]But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [SUP]45 [/SUP]so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. [SUP]46 [/SUP]For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? [SUP]47 [/SUP]If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? [SUP]48 [/SUP]Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

[SUP]16 [/SUP]And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read. [SUP]17 [/SUP]And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written,
[SUP]18 [/SUP]“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor.
He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives,
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set free those who are oppressed,
[SUP]19 [/SUP]To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.”

the GOSPEL is the teaching of Christ and the REVELATION of Christ

that is the actual definition of the word gospel

it is not just salvation and sure isn't works or the law

Paul did not teach the gospel. Paul taught the GOSPEL OF JESUS

Jesus reveals God to us, and some of you think He taught the Mosaic law?

Jesus taught that mercy puts the law aside

time some of you actually opened up your Bible and got to know this Jesus

every time you speak of grace, that is the person of Jesus who died in YOUR place.

Rather than complaining, attempt to refute with scripture. Too many personal opinions 7.

I received this quote in a PM this morning and it looks like it was "prophetic" and it was a great encouragement to me.

"If you can't endure the taunts of the "brothers," you will not confront the "giant" God has called you to bring down. Just ask David.

Sherry Evans- pastor in Ohio "

I encourage all of us brethren to guard our hearts.

Hebrews 12:15 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;

Galatians 5:15-16 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

[SUP]16 [/SUP] But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

I fully understand that we have different views on some subjects and that these views can cause us to get personal in our attacks against others and maybe cause us to "twist" what others are really saying because we don't agree with it.

It's the nature of the flesh that is in all of us.

We just bless all of us and pray for the Father to give us eyes to see Christ and ears to hear the glorious gospel of the grace of God in Christ's finished work on the cross and resurrection!

I believe we have barely scratched the surface of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done in His great work. Everything centers on Christ Himself and all of heaven rushes to respond to the message of Him.

I just "typed myself full of joy"....:)..

relational forgiveness was taught by Jesus himself....
Thats what I have come to believe.
It used to be me for me "I must confess every sin in order to be forgiven"

I would find myself spending more time concentrating on the sin as such to ensure that it's all forgiven.
I had never really understood how confession works and it's purpose as you can see from previous sentence.

As I researched this more I came to realise that my sin has been covered.

Judicial forgiveness.

That which has dealt with the penalty of My sin through Jesus, sets me free from condemnation and allows me to come before the throne of God.

Then I realised that to come before God when I get it wrong was to confess sin in order to restore the relationship which he has asked us to do.

Justification deals with judicial guilt.

Parental/Relational forgiveness.

As in any relationship when we fail on our side unless it's sorted out then a barrier can be put up.
I think with regard to God when we sin and do not cofesss then a barrier is put up and I would say from our side and not Gods.
The temple curtain was torn in two, complete access to God, no barrier.
If we put up the barrier it's because we feel guilty or bad or condemned.
But we know that there is no condemnation for those in Jesus.

So for me and it's been a long hard journey (which I still struggle with at times)

I come before God, I confess, say sorry I got this wrong please help me.
Sometimes I still say please forgive me but most times I say thank you that I am forgiven.

Confession is not to seek apardon for sin but to seek and know the mercy of God that it is forgiven.
The relationship is restored and he can go about his business in us.

There is something that is so releasing when we can say "I have to get this off my chest, I got it wrong and I need help"
Then to hear "It's forgiven, thanks for fessing up now let's work together"
It enhances the sanctification process.

Furthermore I would lake to say if we don't confess then at some point discipline will happen.

To avoid that be honest with God straight away, he is faithful to us

Jesus said "I have many things to tell you but you cannot bear them now. But the Holy Spirit when He comes - He will teach you all things and reveal the things of Me and show them unto you."

Meaning - Jesus had many other things to tell us but the disciples couldn't understand them yet - Jesus has used Paul to show what these things are by the Holy Spirit. You do not get these in the 4 gospels. The words spoken to Paul are from Jesus' words and are just as valid.

The proclamation of Christ produces the profession of Christ, but the explanation of Christ is what produces the experience of Christ.

Believers can never fully enjoy the triumph of the gospel and express Christ in this world victoriously
until there has been an explanation and exposition of the vivid details of the redemptive work of Christ that has gained a foothold in our renewed minds.

The 4 gospels were eyewitness accounts of the historical events in the life and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christianity is based on the veracity of these events as having occurred in real time, in all historicity and specificity.

Many times Jesus told us while in His earthy ministry what the kingdom of God looks like when His life is manifesting in and through us.

Nevertheless it is the unveiling of the spiritual realities of these events that relates to the believer in Christ. This is found in the revelation that the Lord Jesus Christ gave to the apostle Paul.

The 4 gospels are the proclamation of the gospel. They disclose to us what men saw. Acts of the apostles is the demonstration of the gospel, but it is Paul's letters which give us an explanation of the gospel. It is the Pauline Epistles that are the constitution of this church age.

Paul's epistles explain what happened from the cross, death, burial, quickening and resurrection to the being seated at the right hand of the Father. Without these epistles we would have no idea what Jesus our Lord actually accomplished for us.

Paul was taught by Jesus Christ Himself to explain His gospel = to reveal the mystery that was hidden in God until it was revealed by Christ to Paul. The mystery being Christ Himself and the riches of that glory is that Christ is in us and we are in union with Him as one spirit!

These "explanations" of the mystery of the gospel that Christ is in us - cannot be found openly in the 4 gospels themselves. We need to marry the things Paul said with the words of Jesus in the 4 gospels.

It is in Paul's explanation of the gospel that Christ is in us - the hope of glory where we find the nutrients to walk by the spirit.

you should use scripture is a revelation to you G7?

that is a personal prophecy to you?

nice redirect but I don't buy it and I doubt it will sell

you seem to be anxious to get the attention back on yourself rather than on Jesus

I post about Jesus and you redirect and post all about you

you do this often while saying those who disagree with you are full of malice

who do you think you are exactly?

you don't have the words of Christ here.

here is the truth

scripture, unaltered, undiluted, not twisted

the truth as Paul spoke it concerning the gospel

the gospel is the teaching and the revelation of our Lord

His name is Jesus, name above all names

Lord and Creator

I testify of Him also and of His truth

this is called repentance. I agree with what Christ says of Himself. Amen
