Sovereign, you are full of so much anger.

Your argument is, stay a sinner and trust Christ when you meet Him will sort it out.

This is the way of the world. You are ok, nothing to do here, just get your sticky
label, trusting in Christ, and it is all safe.

Without the heart transformation demonstrated in ones life, all is lost.
You can only get away with your gospel in a fairly moral society.

People can con themselves there is nothing really to sort out.

What is staggering is the anger, the vehemence, the aggression.
None of these things are from the Spirit of God.

It demonstrates the heresy hidden within all the religious words and how threatened
it is really feeling.
I don't know if you just misunderstood or refused to see the point.

It's fairly simple. Before the Cross, sin had to be paid for. After the Cross, sin has already been paid for.

What you said is in agreement with the thread title.

Please elaborate?
The power of GOD is given when we believe.. it is to have Faith and Trust in Heavenly Father through Christ.

If you read the Old Testament you will see that David does not defeat Goliath.. it is GOD through David because of His Faith.

When we can see ppl mocking the word of God, we've seen all we need to know.
And we see you mocking other people of God you disagree with by spamming this thread with videos and pics that does nothing but poke fun at them and their belief. If someone started doing this to Calvinists and other eternal security believers, would you be as equally silent as the other group would be, or engaging in typical, knee jerk, Calvinist selective outrage?

For a moment I thought you spoke of Peter the Apostle.

So we are to do good as in shine the light given or it will go out? So they are to work out their own Salvation by doing good? What are they to continue to obey?
It is called being Christlike, Loving others, no matter how hard it is, Doing as Christ would do. Loving people even when they do not deserve to be loved, It is called taking the love God has given you (the true light) and letting that shine.

Imagine being in a cave, where your light goes out, and you can not see anything, Then you see a light in the distance, you will be drawn to that light,

Same goe, We re to let Go shine through us to draw people from the darkness to light.

Paul was afraid he would do something that would keep that light from shining,

If your light goes out you still have Salvation but can not shine the Light on others without being good? Is that what you mean correct me if I'm wrong.
The light is still there, You just drowned it out.

You got a point, I stand corrected.
I liked your post for 1 reason. This other guy is spamming the thread with this foolishness and it is very annoying. The practical reasons you state are justified and so are the spiritual reason I stated to him. I think he is crossing a line by mocking people he disagrees with.

So is posting videos and pics of situations and stating this is what others believers theology is like, that you disagree with, being Christlike and loving others?

No anger at all. Just sadness. Sadness because you trust in yourself to remain saved. I trust in the risen Christ to keep me saved.

#HUGEdifference
just a warning, Peter calls disagreements with him angry, he thinks he makes everyone mad, When it is usually him that gets angry, Just watch him.

Your use of videos, seem to betray your words here. Maybe display the fruit of self control to stop posting things that could be perceived as mean spirited, poking fun at, and mocking other people who Profess Jesus as their savior, even if you disagree with how they think they arrive at his salvation

I will re-iterate once again, for the gazillionth time on this thread, that works do not gain our salvation. Works do not KEEP us saved. Works do not gain us access into heaven.

What's that, you say? You gave money to a bunch of charities? You babysat the neighbor's kid? You mowed or shoveled someone's lawn? All very nice things to do, :) BUT those good works won't do jack diddly for keeping you saved or earning you a ticket to heaven..

all good things should be done by man as if by himself but it should be believed that its God who is working through man.all good things comes from the lord .My thoughts

My friends, the problem with those who are angry, they cannot tell the difference because
we only ever see our own emotions, and project what we think others are feeling. Unless we
ourselves are calm, it is hard to know what others are actually going through.

:) I Just praise the Lord, Halleluyah, for His love is beyond measure, glorious and perfect.

Lots of people disagree on different points, but what is odd is when rather than taking what
someone is saying, the actual words, they change them and then respond with their words as
if you spoke them. It is not being honest, but for those who have to do this make sure their
point is flawed. What is amusing is how things have calmed down, and finally there is some
respect and sense. Praise the Lord, His Spirit works in wonderous ways.

I don't know if you just misunderstood or refused to see the point.

It's fairly simple. Before the Cross, sin had to be paid for. After the Cross, sin has already been paid for.
Let me say I am in an adulterous relationship.
I understand that it is wrong, I believe in Jesus and carry on living the same way.

Some will say this is ok, they are saved just carnal.
I would say they are an unrepentant sinner who claims spiritual understanding but
has yet to claim Jesus as their Lord.

Or a believer falls in love with another woman while married.
They have left the faith if they act upon these feelings and need to repent.

Sorting out ones heart and emotions is part of repentance and discipleship.
Yet some believe it is actually pointless, just something that is good idea but not essential.

Now sin is not a debt just paid for, so you can do what you like with no consequences.
It seems some think this is exactly what the situation is.

just a warning, Peter calls disagreements with him angry, he thinks he makes everyone mad, When it is usually him that gets angry, Just watch him.
As a side note, EG has had to leave cc for weeks because he got so angry.
And what made him so angry was my calm level headed responses, and wanting to know what
was being said and why.

I realise there is an emotional problem with logic. It relies on steps of logic being understood
from beginning to end. If one step is broken or wrong, the end can be reached but will not
be right. And the only way anyone knows is by going over each step along the way.

Jesus calls us to one thing, follow. In following we learn, obey, experience, and are changed.
People talk about dead faith religion, but it is the religion they have lived in for most of their
lives. After years listening to them, I wonder how much they have left what they openly
condemn from their past. Sometimes a critic is very good at pointing out failure, but still has
no clue what really works, which has always been a narrow road, entered into through Christ.

Wow... Your constant use of subtle insults covered by "Christian" self-righteousness is what makes people so frustrated with you. Take off your rose colored glasses for once.

I think posting vids, that seem to mock other Christians, is also insulting, do you?

Absolutely.. It just makes them appear as if they think they're more holier than thou, more self-righteous and more favored by God than the rest of us.. Got news for everyone: there ain't one righteous person in the world.. IMO, the ones who deem themselves to be above the rest of us, are the ones who post vids and memes that mock other's faith and belief.. I have one word for what they are: hypocrits..

True.. but if God wanted Goliath dead, He could have done it Himself. :)
That goes for all things.. but we are being taught here on earth and the story unfolds and GOD does things His way for our good.

It is all part of the Most Highs plan for us.. we only need to believe :)
