When I have to sit next to someone I don't know so close that our legs or elbows touch- such as on the bus, in a waiting room, movie theater, etc. I smile and act like it's fine, but inside I'm freaking out. Or when I'm standing in line and the person behind me is standing so close, unnecessarily, and I scoot up an inch, and they scoot up two inches. This is when I want to wear a Hoolahoop around me just to get some space.

I have a relative whose bf asked me out before her. I turned him down cause I only date Christian men. I don't know what she thinks she has to prove, but she always tries to kiss him in front of me- majorly, maybe some more than kissing. I immediately look away and/or walk away. But she does it at every opportunity- like ten times in one visit. (AAAwkwaaaaard!)

When the wind blows my hair in my face, and I have to breathe right at that moment, and the suction causes my hair to stick to my nose before I can swipe it away. And of course there's always someone there to see when that happens.

Having to squeeze by people trying to talk in the aisle at.the store.
Having to plunge other people's poop water when they stop up the toilet and won't fix it.... (I'm a care aid )

Having to debate prices when I take a cake order ...

People who can't make up their minds about plans that involve me.

Having lots to do on my days off.

Someone smoking around me.

The feeling that I'm being lied to, but without proof.

Close-talkers. If I can smell what you had for lunch, you're standing too close.

People that do "tricks" with their eyes. Flipping eyelids inside out, touching their own eyeball, etc. *wretch*

Not knowing when too much physical contact is too much. The door greeter at church the last time I went insisted on holding that handshake entirely too long. Kinda creepy. Wouldn't think that particular church was "that" liberal, but who knows for sure?

I do this! :p

When i hv to stand infront of the ppl i never know n meet to lead a discussion or giving speach.
Really uncomfortable for me :)

When people eat loudly at the movie theater.
Loud music.
When people ask me how my wife is doing and I have to answer "we're getting a divorce. But she's good I guess. She's expecting with another man."

That's where you need to flip the script and adopt a bit of self-deprecating humor. I used to say when asked:

"So Jon, I heard you and Kari were getting a divorce."
"Yep, it was a mutual decision. She and her boyfriend thought it would be for the best."

Divorce sucks. Big time. It's worth every penny though.

I'm not comfy with confrontation. Everyone should be free to state their own beliefs and opinions...it's cool to have a friendly dialogue...but leave the two edged tongues and bad feelings out of it.

Anytime I have to stand in one place particularly in lines, that's very uncomfortable for me.
