You need to step back....if you reject the cross as sufficient, deny the imputed righteousness of Christ as a non working trick and state that faith into the assurance of Jesus is an idol = not saved, lost, no abilitiy to understand anything from the word.......which fully explains the gospel according to Peterjens.....a cafe blend that does not come close to what the bible states.......!
You can see people on this thread agreeing with Jens counterfeit Christ and yet if they would "prove what is right" they would see through his obvious deceptions. Jesus said, "Let them alone."

My friend, as normal you have no answer to the core point, our forgiveness and purity.
This is the light you cannot face or agree with, but until you do, Jesus is a closed book to you,
even with all your theology, church going, bible training and all the good works
you do, though you deny you are working your way to heaven.
Maybe it is this that makes you angry, because you do so much and it adds up to nothing,
if you cannot accept Jesus has cleansed and purified you. But if you have not been cleansed
because you hold on sin, that would explain everything. I counsel repentance of those things
you know bring condemnation into your life. You are so proud of your behaviour, you boast of
these deeds like a badge of honour rather than shame that needs sorrow.
So lost yet so proud and presumptous. It is so ironic, when it is these things I am accused of

Hi Decon, I rebuke every word that is in this ugly God forsaken post and he begins this nonsense with, "My friend." Clever as the devil, notice how Jens uses Christian phrase's like; "to the core point, our forgiveness and purity." Pure nonsense "the core point" is not about "our forgiveness and purity" the core point is that God sent His Son Jesus to save us from our sins, period. "This is the light", He never mention's Jesus our Saviour, just things like "light", to distract everyone that sounds churchy. "Jesus is a closed book " More Churchy sounding nonsense.
All of Jens Christian phraseology is from the the bible, but it is all made up in his sinful mind, the gospel according to Jen's. I put him on ignore because I just could not look at his sugar coated chritianity any longer; it is a counterfeit Christ, period. You can tell by his choice of words to you he is filled with anger and hate.
People like this have Chosen Christianity to promote their spiritual lie's, "you will be like God," Gen3:5. It is all spiritual lies, that they sugar coat with Christianity. One such group that spreads his kind of nonsense is called, "Unity School of Christianity". You can Google it if you like. It has been around for fifty plus years and is considered a cult by main stream Christianity. It has a world wide membership and mostly they send you books and monthly pamphlet's. They also have church's that promote this false doctrine world wide and place's they call reading rooms with more of their literature.
All of Jens word's and phrase's are so similar to what Unity School of Christianity teaches. I've known family members who were trapped in this cult and I have been around it all my life. This christian cult also draws there awful teachig from other false religions like; eastern mythologies, its all a lie from hell and it will take you there unless you repent. Jens, beliefs are, a little bit of this and a little bit of that and he sugar coats everything with a false Jesus.
I am truly sorry Decon that you have to be subject to these kind of attacks, not that you are not able but because they should never happen in the first place, ya know. So I just want to be supportive and tell you to beware of Jens nonsense.

I had a dream, a dream that was out of the ordinary, and I believe it was about this thread
I believe God was impressing upon me that I should stay out of this thread BECAUSE of the type of feelings you are describing that are so harmful

Nice try at DECEPTION, but I learned the first YEAR that I was Born Again to read the context first to decide if it really is saying what you tried to make it say to prove works Righteous by CHOPPING OFF the first part of the verse, and the context.

Jesus has saved us because he loves us and wants us to be with him forever.
He wants that for the whole world.
So having saved us he wants us to be a light in the darkness of this world.
With regard to your point about condemnation I think I would agree and disagree with you here.
Firstly I would say that as you know the bible tells us that there is no condemnation for those in Jesus.
Secondly Jesus is interceding for us, when Satan accuses us before God Jesus is saying the price has been paid.
Off course this does not give one a license to sin, or take it lightly or say it’s ok God will forgive me.
I can’t say that I have seen anyone here saying “It’s ok to be a sinning hypocrite”
Mind you I have known of some people who are like this
I think for me Satan does condemn us when we sin yet the Holy Spirit doesn’t.
What do I mean by condemnation?
Rather than try to explain it maybe my life experience will convey it
I have spent most of Christian life with thoughts like this.
Your a sinner, you sin, why would God love you, you can’t really love God.
Thats the polite part.
When I did the Freedom in Christ this was bought up.
My pastor asked me what thoughts I had about myself and what goes through my mind when I get it wrong.
I told him I could say what was going through my mind.
He asked why not.
i said because it’s foul.
He made me say every foul word I thought about myself.
He then made me pray “Father I thank you that I am not a ********** and that I am your child, I now rebuke these thoughts”
Thats condemnation and it does happen to believers.
The Holy Spirit on the other hand would never say such things.
He would say exactly the opposite.
Jesus had to go back to the Father to send us a helper. That is the Holy Spirit.
He is in us to help us and reveal the things of the Father. Not to condemn us (not saying you are saying he will condemn us)
Whether we want to use the word convict/convince/reprove to be its totally different to condemn.
I think the problem is that when we disagree with a particular doctrine(s) when we refute it then what we say can come accross as a generalisation and therefore applying that to everyone whom we disagree with.
Lets be honest it’s quite evident on here.
Presentation is the key to posting and responding.

Hi Preacher4truth...I don`t come into this thread to pick sides, nor get involved with disputes, I come in here to learn from others that are much more advanced in the word than myself...It was only when I stopped to read TalkTalk post that it really come at me, and as I said I tried to leave it alone and not get involved but I could not, so I come to tell him what I picked upon from his emotions, not what is being said about the word...You now come at me with a kind of roughness about you, like you are shaking your head while wagging your finger, that kind of response is also un Godly, I learn nothing from that...xox...
LOL, I am laughing with you, because I am very familar with the different pronounciations and expressions of a True Englishman. My best friend in Fallon, NV was a Englishman that moved to the US after he retired. I had a hard time even understanding him at first, and had to ask him to repeat himself a lot. But I got used to it, and watching a lot of British Sitcoms on YouTube also helped. I still chuckle a bit when I hear totally different expressions like "Bangers and Mash", instead of Sausage and Mashed Potatoes.
