I know this might be speculative but I wonder how did Adam sin If sin wasn't In the world until he sinned?

I think It must have been curiosity that Influenced him to choose to be disobedient.

Sin is defined as breaking a law, or commandment.

Adam and Eve were given explicit "instructions" or "Rules" they should bollow in order to live in peace.

God gave them these rules along with a complete explanation of what would happen were they to break those rules.

Death!.... It has always been sin to disobey our Father. He knows what is good and wise, not we.

Eve influenced Adam to sin. Eve was deceived, but Adam choose to blatantly sin.

In the story Satan, appearing as a serpent, beguiled the woman into disobedience, and, in trun, she convinced Adam.

God prefers obedience to sacrifice.... Death was the punishment for going against God's Word, and death is the punishment for sin. It is the curse the comes along with disobedience ofGod.......that was the poswer of sin...death.

Because of the continuation of the saga of truthe, we now know that believe Jesus christ, sin no longer possesses this curse. Is this not wonderful?

This guy I know, he's a tall, handsome and smart 30-something year old. He's well educated, lives in a giant luxurious house on a tree-lined street. He has a beautiful smart wife, and three lovely children. The guy has a great job and makes tons of money.

Oh, and last week I found out he's been having an affair for the past year with a 24 year old woman. He left his wife and children and is moving into a new house he bought with the young woman.

Wow, just wow. I know that I'm not supposed to judge him. It's not my place. But it sure is a challenge not to. /shakes head

Testing, testing, testing, Teeeeeeesting.

I'm trying to unsubscribe from receiving emails for threads. I did have the settings "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" set to "do not subscribe". But I receive an email every time anyone posts in a thread I posted in. (This has pretty much ruined my email account. It will take hours to clean it up.) You'd think that would work, wouldn't you?

So now I'm trying "through control panel only". I'm making this post to see if I will quit receiving email from CC. If this doesn't work I guess I'll just list CC as a spam account. :/

Ha ha! I guess my nose isn't very good to follow. I've been tweaking the general settings to stop the emails. But was still getting an email every time someone posted in a thread that I had posted in. (That's a LOT of emails.)

No matter. I fixed it on the email side by blocking emails from cc. Problem solved! :)

After the fall, man was told that he could eat any live food.

I do not recall the specifics on that, but thank you for sharing it.

It may explains something to me. About twenty years ago my mother was still here in this age, and she told me that as she "gets older" she likes meats less and less. I confessed to her I was already feeling the same way.

I am not a vegetarian, but I am not very fond of any kind of meat, and as I get older it is a stronger sensation.

Now you made me think on this a bit, and you make me wonder if there is not some heavenly reason for this.

No, I am not suggesting eating meat is wrong in any manner, but it still makes me wnder if this is not the natural way for believers in their way to be with the Lord.......thank you for sharing.

Meat was not given as food until after the flood.
