Funny isn't it, these concepts of God people just make up? God is a
"gentleman" and won't make or cause us do anything.
Uh-huh.
Let's see, God caused us to be born again after He elected us and set us apart;
1 Peter 1:3, oh, what a travesty! In fact, there are many things in Scripture that show God causes us to do things;
Ezekiel 36:27; Philippians 2:13; Psalm 23:2.
I don't believe, in light of this, that I'd be accusing God of not being a
"gentleman." God's ways are above our ways, and we'd be most unwise to think He must fall under our criteria or human reason.
Instead He has revealed who He is and how he operates in us via Scripture and the above show that He actually does cause us to do His will.
Thank Him that He did all these things, causing us to do all the above, or left alone we'd be eternally lost.
