Did you enlist in the Marines were you drafted? Of corse you enlisted. So we’re you required to do anything enlisted? Of course you did. You see where this leading? If you enlisted in God’s army are you required to do anything? Of course you are and it’s laid out plain as day in Acts 2:38. Just as in the service you don’t gold brick or you are out on your ear.

Getting Saved requires NO WORKS whatsoever. This is True and Scriptures plainly teaches that. What you seem to not understand though, is once you ARE SAVED you are to have and maintain Good Works, as the Word of God instructs Christians to DO. This generation is blind and does not understand that simple Truth.
GETTING Saved = No Works whatsoever, Faith ONLY is enough to GET SAVED.
Once you ARE SAVED = Faith and Works. This is what Scriptures plainly teaches as well.

But woe to this generation who profess that Jesus lives in them, and they have NO Works at all. LOVE does not spill out of them like a river that can't be stopped. NO these give Christ lip service, and have NO WORKS at all. It is written your Actions prove where your heart is. If you have LOVE (Jesus) living inside of you, you won't be able to help but to HELP everyone, to LOVE Everyone, to be willing to even die for everyone. WHY? Because Jesus is in you.

You who say, "keep believing", so that you will "not lose your eternal salvation", are wrong; Your "Sanctification" begins at your "New Birth" and continues throughout the earthly life of the believer.
"It is not" a works to keep you saved, it is what happens to a true believer who already has eternal salvation, that cannot be taken away or lost.

i am sorry, but i do not recall asking you (stonesoffire) this question at all. More than likely it was a general question asked of everyone, not just you. If i am wrong, which is entirely possible, please show the post where i asked YOU if YOU were a sheep or a goat.
IN the parable, both Sheep and Goats called Jesus "Lord"
Only by the Holy ghost does a person call Jesus "Lord"
The Goats who called Jesus "Lord" via the Holy Ghost, are rejected by Jesus because they did not LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Our Savior and Lord, COMMANDED us Christians to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Sheep = Love One Another, full of Good Works, Maintain Good works as they are instructed to do.
Goats = Believe Faith only is enough and have NO WORKS, and do NOT do as Christ COMMANDS.
Sheep = Believe in Jesus AND Good Works prove who is in their hearts.

Anyone who teaches a works based Salvation is not of God.

Their name is written in the Book of LIFE at the moment they GET SAVED. This even is a free gift and requires NO WORKS Whatsoever, you can come as you are. The only requirements that is required to GET SAVED is to Believe on Jesus, confess, and repent of your sins. BAM YOUR SAVED that very moment. A ONE TIME EVENT, a single moment in time, that person becomes SAVED, that persons name is written in the Book of Life at the very moment they GET SAVED. NOW let us go on and discuss what a person is required to do one they ARE SAVED, Once they have received the free gift, once they have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord, Once they have their name written in the Book of LIFE, can we now discuss what that person is required to do according to the Holy Inspired by God Scriptures?

So the first verse, which this generation knows by heart and believes 100% teaches that believing in Jesus has everlasting life.
The second verse, which this generation ignores, makes void, or interprets away, teaches that Eternal Salvation is given unto all those who OBEY JESUS CHRIST.
Which is correct? is believing enough, according to the first verse. or must we believe AND OBEY Jesus Christ?
Woe to this generation who believes one verse and not another. It is only when ALL verses are TRUE, that a person can come close to understanding the mystery of God, the TRUTH of God. So then if you are one of those who teach only the first verse and FAIL to teach all the other verses concerning what the Word of God teaches it takes for one to be Saved, they will one day weep and gnash their teeth, because they have altogether pick and choose which verses they will believe and which ones they ignore, void, or interpret to mean something other than what it says. NO. At the first i tried to give up all sinning all at once, it was a disaster. Then i took one sin at a time and got rid of it out of my life until it was gone. That was more successful, thank Jesus. my invisible friend, when i was a kid, was Jesus, i even made a place for him to sit on the school bus. Then the Holy Ghost started convicting me that i was not Loving enough, that Jesus Loved everyone even His enemies and that i should do the same, so then i started to pray for help to love my enemies, i prayed for Jesus to help me forgive those who wronged me, little by little, little by little, i worked on being more pleasing to the God i serve. Then i got to the point where the Holy Ghost was prompting me to give up my life for HIM. So now, through the help of the Power and Strength of Jesus Christ who lives in me, i now do all things to please Him, i do not live my life for me, but live it for Him. i have learned to hate, even abhor sinning. Because God told me that all sinning is selfishness, all willful sinning is done because of selfish thoughts, to please self and not God. i do not obey satan in anything, i do not obey my flesh, nor any sinful desire, i ONLY obey Jesus Christ, i no longer please myself, but do ALL things to please Jesus my Lord, my Savior, my Master.
It is a race that one must finish. Even though i walk in the light, and do all things to please Him, and if i die right this second then i am Saved, but since i live, i must endure to end to Be Saved. What people fail to understand is you claim with your mouth today that you are Saved, but there is ONLY ONE DAY that determines if a person is Saved or not Saved, and that day is when the Books are opened and we are Judged. If our name is found written in the Book of Life and it has not been blotted out, it is ONLY on that DAY, that a person is Truly SAVED, He that endures to the end shall be Saved.
Being Saved is a narrow and difficult path that only a few will find, this generation has believed a lie that teaches once you are on that narrow and difficult path that it is impossible to ever fall away from it, they are wrong and are deceived and believe a lie that teaches once they are on that path they can't ever fall from it through their own choices.
Is it not written those who endure to the END shall be Saved. If then i freely choose to STOP, Then i have freely chose to deny Christ.
Jesus Christ in a person will cause that person to LOVE OTHERS, they will not be able to do otherwise, unless they deny Christ. Jesus Christ is LOVE. IF then Jesus Christ is Truly in you, then you will LOVE OTHERS, you won't be able to NOT help those in need, you will give to the poor, help those in need, you will give to charities, you will cloth the naked, visit the sick, you will do all these things, not to GET saved, not to remain Saved, you WILL DO all these thing because you ARE SAVED, He lives in you. Love lives in you, if you resist, you deny Christ. And we know what happens to those who deny Christ.

My life is not mine. My life belongs to Jesus Christ. IF Jesus wants me to be happy, i will be happy. If Jesus wants me to suffer for His sake, i will gladly suffer. If i get sick, cancer, maimed, or what have you, what is that to me? i do all things to please Jesus Christ. What do i care what He desires for me. i have not convinced myself of anything at all. i live day by day however HE chooses me to live. If tomorrow i get fired? Don't care. If tomorrow i become the Homeless. Don't care. If tomorrow i get an incurable disease. Don't care. IF tomorrow i am thrown into Prison because i am falsely accused. Don't care. Whatever happens to me tomorrow, i have full faith that it is what Jesus wants for me. Therefore i am willing to do whatever He decides to do with me. i have not convinced myself of anything at all. satan can't touch me, if i continue to keep the WHOLE Armour of God on me. As long as i keep my eyes on Christ without ever taking my thoughts OFF of Him, satan can't touch me. But if i take my thoughts off Jesus for only a moment, satan is right there to tempt me for sure. And when a person takes their eyes off Christ, that is when they will sink into sin. NO, i don't care, nor convince myself of anything about tomorrow, today is sufficient enough.
Are you saying Christians should not hang on, or endure hardships of life? We all should do those things.
Have i indicated somewhere that He has NOT provided for all my needs?
So what you are saying, is if you ask, you will NOT receive? The Apostle John said they get whatsoever they ask in prayer because they Believe in Jesus and Love One Another (Keep His Commandments) Are you saying if a True Christian asks God to transport them out of trouble, He will not do it? This is simply not True. i have always received whatsoever i have asked for in prayer. Maybe if you click on the website below and read the article "Answered Prayers" which are things God told me, Maybe He will answer your prayers in whatsoever you ask of Him.

When people say saved by works,what they mean is be led of the Spirit,for a Spirit led person is saved.
A Spirit led life will abstain from sin,for they have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts,and show the characteristics of the Spirit,in which there is no fleshy ways there,and goes by their needs,and helps others with their needs.
Which we might sin,but it can be forgiven,and we might neglect the poor,but it can be forgiven,but at the time we are in error,then we were not led of the Spirit at that time,then how do we have salvation,unless we repent,and mean it,and all sin can be forgiven,but if we hold unto sin the sacrifice of Jesus cannot wash it away,because we are led of the flesh.
So the point is if we sin,and neglect the poor,it can be forgiven,but there is people that think if they live in sin they are alright,but how can they be if they are led of the flesh,and not the Spirit.
The Bible says God is not mocked,for whatever a person sows is what they will reap,do not be deceived,and Jesus said whatever is in the heart is what comes out,so if we sin then that is what was in our heart at the time,so we cannot be right with God until we repent.
That is the reason that people go against those that believe faith alone,is because we see many of them that are hypocritical,holding unto sin,and loving money,and material things,thinking they are alright,which this is what I see among many of them.
If they said faith alone,but believed they must depart from sin,and help the poor to be right with God,for that is being led of the Spirit,then it would make sense.
But they say we cannot abstain from sin,and sin does not affect our relationship with God,which does not make sense.
We are saved by being led of the Spirit,but if we lack then we are not being led of the Spirit,so under that condition then how can a person be saved if they lack,for only by the being led of the Spirit are we saved.
So when James says faith without works is dead,and a person is justified by works,and not faith alone,what he is saying is be led of the Spirit.
Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
And it is obvious that some do not allow the Spirit to lead them,which Jesus told them to repent.
The first Church they left their first love,and were fallen,and had to repent,so they must of been right at one time,but Jesus was not pleased that they lacked after a while,and the fifth Church,they had to remember what they had received,and heard,when they first came to Christ,and they lacked,and Jesus told them to repent.
