Always wondered why Aramiac words are in the OT as well as the NT.
The way I understand it, is that some of Daniel was written in Aramaic. There is such a thing as an Aramaic New Testament also. Some say much of the New Testament was written in that language, and others say in Greek, then others say Hebrews was written in Hebrew, and it goes on and on.

The Khabouris Codex is the oldest known Aramaic Codex. It is thought to be the words Yahshua Messiah spoke. Not to be confused with the confused with the gospel of Thomas, aka the book of Q. Though YHWH was not used, overwhelmingly the Peshitta dialect uses the singular form of Elohim, "Eloah". Also the shortened form Yah. This is completely normal when looking at the Peshitta Tanakh and NT where Yah is prefixed with the word Mar forming MarYah translated as Master YHWH. So there are times when Master or Lord is translated into English giving the impression of one thing when the word is pointing to another thing.

A decent example for this...
Acts 16:31-32
And they said to him: "Believe on the name of our Master Y'shua Messiah, and you will have life, you and your house." And they spoke the Word of Master YHWH to him, and to all the members of his house.

Here is what should be seen that Paul emissary to the nations taught the Word of YHWH, aka Torah, or instruction.
from what I can gather, Khaburis is a medieval copy of part of the new testament from about 800 years after the Yahshua and the apostles.

"The Khaburis Codex is the complete Peshitta New Testament containing 22 books, in comparison to the Western New Testament canon which contains 27 books. The missing books are known as the "Western Five," namely, 2 Peter, 2 John, 3 John, Jude and Revelation."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khaboris_Codex

"The physical manuscript has been carbon-dated at approximately 1000 AD plus or minus 50 years."

Why Is This Happening To Me... AGAIN?! - History

of course, a person can simply assert that the new testament was originally written in Aramaic, and that Khaburis is the most accurate.

Thanks Dan.. but the more I do today the more I can rest later and tomorrow.. Though the Good works of GOD are each and every day but a day set aside each week where we can rest somewhat is a Blessing within a Blessing.

do you mean that you try to do more of your own works on the sixth day, so that you can rest from your works on the seventh?

Dave,

Just cutting and pasting what you have already posted that has been addressed already with the scriptures does not make what your saying right. It only shows you are disregarding the Word of God in order to follow your traditions.
What traditions do YOU think i am following?

We all must believe the Word of God over the teaching and traditions of man. As it is written let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou might be justified in thy sayings, and might overcome when thou art judged.
Amen.

Friend let's agree to disagree.
Scriptures over and over again teach for us to have the same mind, to think the same thing. So then who do you think brought into the world the phrase "let us agree to disagree"?
satan's main tactic is DIVISION. As a whole body, the body would have Great Power against satan. So what does satan do, cause division. The Christians now have over 120 different denominations, and each one of those have even divisions in them.

Rom_15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Co_13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Php_1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Php_2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

1Pe_3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

Yes, let us not discuss this topic no further to reach ONE MIND, that would be Godly thing to do. satan is pleased, but let us agree to disagree. Agreeing to disagree on worldly matters is fine, but should not be done with Scriptures.

I do not judge you. If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Amen.

I will let you have the last say as you clearly need it more then I do.
How so?

Do you think i care about the last say? You even bringing that up reveals your own heart

God's Word has been shared with you.
Yes it has. i have read God's Word over 80 times in my life, front to back. Had many conversations with God concerning His Word, So you are absolutely right. God's Word has been shared with me. Thank you Jesus.

My duty towards you and my God has been fulfilled.
You have no duty towards me, but your duty towards God has not been fulfilled, there is yet more for you to do.

He must increase and I must decrease. I love him because he first loved me so I point others to him that they may behold the love of God that takes away our sins. For who are we that he should love us?
Whether you point others to Him or not, i know not if you do or don't. What i have seen on this Thread concerning the Sabbath is not, nor has been about pointing others to Jesus, but a goal to condemn any Sunday Worship of the Lord Jesus.

One day a devout Christian spent all his money, and time, and effort, and prayers, to try to get prayer back in school. When the Lord led me to this individual to talk with him. He was clearly cast down, depressed, and hopeless. He has spent years trying to get prayer back into school. i told him "You are wasting your time and effort, prayer will never return to the school once it has been removed" He was upset that i would say something like that, and asked why i said that. i then informed him that satan is the God of this world, and Scriptures teach the world will get worse and worse, NOT BETTER. i told him if prayer was back in school, the world would get better, right? He agreed. i said the world is NOT going to get better but worse and worse. You need to start putting your time and effort into something else, something that you CAN do, but prayer will NEVER return to the schools. After all said and done, he said he would most certainly find something else to do. And for those who are going to be quick to say "OH, you just told a guy to stop trying to put prayer back into school, he may have succeeded if you did not suggest he stops, OH your so evil" Homosexual marriages is legal now. Put all your time and effort in trying to stop it, and see if you succeed, or waste your time and effort, trying to do something that will never be stopped in the world that is here now.
6, Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7, Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Amen, let the wicked forsake his ways. What? if you believe in Jesus, you can be as wicked as you want, as long as you believe right? Woe to this generation indeed, verse after verse plainly teaches us to stop sinning.

In speaking of following traditions, all must learn and avoid any modern day "rabbinical" teachings or traditions.

Just as when Jesus walked this, His, earth and the Pharisees and Sadducees (among other) would teach traditions of men in lieu of the Word of God, so there are many men of the cloth who do the very same today.

If the Word does not verify it by the Holy Spirit...........it is just fine to ignore it,

I love GOD every waking day and love others as myself by the Love and power of GOD through Faith in Christ.

The Sabbath day rest is a day set apart by GOD for us.. it is not a day of fear that one wrong move and I'm worthy of death because through Faith in Christ we are under Grace at liberty to Love as we are Loved.. and if one is not born again of the Holy Spirit the delight would feel a burden.. and as I grow in Grace and knowledge of Christ I understand this.. and can only share that those condemned not set free because they lack belief which brings guidance and comfort within and still fear.. for only GOD can cast out that fear.. but to believe is the beginning of enlightenment...

GOD works every day the Messiah taught us..

Yesterday I was asked is a person saved if they don't keep Sabbath.. I'm not a judge.. but my reply was does a person Love GOD if they Keep not His Commandments? And only the individual and GOD can know the answer.. for we that take joy and believe those that Love GOD keep the Sabbath can not go round saying Keep the Sabbath Holy to be saved... for that is not Faith..

It is written that those that Keep the Commandments and have the Faith of Jesus are saints.. The New Testament is Faith that worketh by love.... and like it is written GOD loved us First.. and His display of Love could not of come any greater than through His Son Yahshua's suffering so that we can be forgiven and Reconciled.. no.. that is the ultimate show of love and it breaks a person to Repent and believe... a circumcised heart.. a pierced heart indeed..

Heavenly Father thank you always in your Son forever. You are Merciful, Loving and kind and a Just GOD.

May all Repent and Believe and come to love you o Gracious GOD.

Hello Friend,

If our eyes are not open we cannot see the Garden of Eden or the paradise of God. Sin closes our eyes and makes us blind but seeking Jesus can open the blind eyes to see and the deaf to hear. Only God knows the heart from within and without him it is desperately wicked. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks what is hidden inside. These are the things that defile a man. Unless our righteousness exceeds the righteousness of those that say they see and hear we shall in no wise enter into the Kingdom that he has prepared for those that follow and love him.

The light shines in darkness; but the darkness does not understand because the wisdom of God is foolishness to those who say they see. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Light is come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Quick they say, lets turn off the light because we are naked. But he that does truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Who can know the Word of God when there is no Word? Only the mirror shows the way. If the mirror is broken we cannot see the way that is narrow. Many are called but few are chosen.

He is calling all who have ears to hear and eyes to see. Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. It is hard to kick against the pricks.

In Christ Always!

I believe that the truth of the matter is that the fear of losing your lives, mind, friends, family, and many other things that keeps many people who are seeking Messiah genuinely from seeing the true deception in front of all their faces.

How far do you want to go down the rabbit hole? Sabbath was made by God, (this also means by Messiah) both for God and for Mankind. For God it is sign, if we keep it, that we are his people. For us it is a seal, promise, and rest from our works. If we keep it, the Sabbath is confirmation of faith. Because it is foolishness to men. Why keep a day over others when they are all the same, is said.
Because it is written that his people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Also that God desires all come to the full knowledge of the truth. This is also commanded by Messiah Yahshua himself. To baptize in the Name and teach them all the Word teaches... Paul did this in Acts with Silas and a whole house was saved to the knowledge of the truth. They learned obedience to the word by faith in the Messiah and doing the word by resting on the Sabbath day and learning from Paul and Silas. Paul taught in the Synagogue and preached on the name because they knew that Instruction but not the faith received through trusting. Beautiful is the testimony of scripture and Messiah. Messiah crucified is the way to trusting. We so often make doctrine up to limit this faith which ignites fire against them on judgment day. Today I humbly at least remember the Sabbath day out of love for the Father and in memory of the creation of the world and mankind. This obviously includes the renewal of the heart of men through Faith in the Word of God, both the testimony of Messiah Yahshua and the commandment of YHWH.

In other words if you want to test your faith, to see if it is real or counterfeit, see if anything the Word says is contrary to the faith kept.
For example if you eat meat is it against the commandment? What about condemnation of the believer who trusts and obeys, or the believer who doesn't obey, does trust and also hungers for righteousness? We must all remain humble my brother's. I do call sin out when I see it as best I can. Not to condemn but to confess our sins openly. Not considering Sabbath, or the festivals of Messiah to include them in our faith is a sin. So I do study on Sabbath day to find myself approved by my neighbors as well as before God.

Should I boast in anything it is that the continued grace of Messiah Yahshua that stays with me through the struggle of sin has softened my heart to all, even though they may try to tear apart my love for you and God.

Shalom in Yahshua the Messiah
my Master

Nothing , by entering the body, corrupts the body for it passes through and oes out again. What corrupts the body is the product of the evil residing in the hearts of men.

All foods are holy when takenwith thanksgiving to God, for it is blessedñ

If what you eat condemns you, you should not eat it. Otherwise you are fee to eat any food as long as you bless it in thanksgiving to our Father. We should not eat anything with the blood in it or eat blood, this would include animals thta have died of themselves or animals strangled.........

I was very much surprised when I became aware of the former laws on clean foods at just how many of the so-called undlean foods I had kept out of my diet naturally........not all, but just about all of them.

Yeshua is not goign to cast anyone into the eternal fire for eating a shellfish or a ham and cheese sandwich. What kind of grace and mercy do you think He gives us? God bess you all. Eat with giving thanks and your table is blessed and holy.l

Friends,

What is sin and am I my brothers keeper?
I would say sin is stepping out-of-bounds.

God your brother's keeper, though it is good to live in such a way that benefits your brother.
