See this scar? I got it from falling off a cliff during a knife fight.

JL reminds me of one of my scars.

Came home to Dad's house and my brother was in his room with the sound turned up, while I'm holding something heavy. (I forget what.) Since he couldn't hear the door bell, brilliant person that I am (not), slapped the glass window... apparently too hard, because my hand went through. (The screaming Brother heard.)

I was pretty frantic at the time, because I saw something white in the blood near my wrist, (I thought it was bone), so called Dad at work, and he told me to go to neighbor's house because she's a nurse. That white? The day I found out fat cells are big and white.

But, it was a pretty bad cut, that started healing, before I noticed a big lump right under it. The doctor thought I tore a ligament, so I had surgery on it.

How many people can claim a hernia on their wrist?

I have a scar on top of my foot. It happened the night before my wedding with my ex-husband way back in 1996.
We made (or rather I) made all the food for our wedding with some help from my friends. I baked 500 Careelian pies, 8 Sachertortes, 4 strawberry cream cakes, a big wedding cake, loads of portion breads, we made cured ham and leg of lamb, cured lax and so on. We had 150 guests and it was a lot of food! (And a lot of leftovers after the party!) We also had Norwegian and Finish cheeses. When we got back from the run through in church, I noticed that the cheese was not cut in cubes. It was close to midnight, and I was in a mode of making everything as perfect as possible. And then it happened! I dropped the knife and it fell straight down and speared my foot. I had to go to the ER and make 4 stitches. It was awful to walk with high heals and dance with the stitched wound. And on the honeymoon it got infected and the foot was extremely swollen and I had a temperature. I don't believe in omens.... but the marriage was not a very happy one.
I got a scar on my left foot from a knife.
I was trying to old duct tape off of something, I had it laying down on the floor and I was bending over with a box cutter. I was pulling in towards me at an angle and it slipped and stuck into the top of my foot. I was in a hurry so I was thinking about how I was doing it. Lol.

i have a scar on my face from playing hide and seek when i was a tot, turning to run from "it" and running into a brick.

now like 7 people in the world immediately will know this is my account lol
I fell into a brick within mere millimeters aof my eye when I was a toddler. It's still lightly visible.

Truthfully, I have many scars on the outside from many trades and other accidents. Cuts, burns, abrasions, incisions from csections and surgeries. Many scars on the inside too. ALL of them are blessings because they are part of my journey in life that has led my relationship with God to where it is now...and the DESTINATION is gonna be AWESOME!!!!!!!!

I have a scar on my forehead, just above my hairline. A neighbor kid hit me in the head with a shovel when I was six years old.
Me and the other kids used to beat the snot out of each other. Lol.
The one kid had a grapfriut tree in his yard, for whatever reason we would have grape fruit fights. Just pick one up and throw somebody.

I got a scar right on the edege of my forehead above the hair line. I was digging holes to put wooden post in the ground to build a deck. The boss man put a post in another hole and proped it up with a shovel when I wasn't looking. I grabbed the shovel and the post came down right on my head, it didn't fall all the way out of the hole thankfully, but just about knocked me unconscious. But all I needed was seven staples to close up my scalp and I was fine.

Yea...got whacked full on at church softball practice with a weighted metal bat by my cousin square in the forhead. First time I saw stars. Only a slight concussion, but I've been using it for an excuse for stupid things I do! ;) Lol (catchers have a dangerous job when everyone's trying to make it to home plate)

From head to toe:

Scar on top of my head from a cheater pipe when I worked in an oilfield tool shop

Scar on my forehead from a bed-jumping accident when I was 3 years old

Scar on my right cheek from a dog bite

Scars on elbows from bike accidents as a kid

Scar on my left index finger from a hunting knife

Scars on my knees from bike accidents as a kid

Scars on my right leg from fleeing from wasps (I am highly allergic) and wiping out to get a nice case of road rash

Scars on my legs from barb wire.

Broken nose leaving nothing else than a tiny scar after someone punched me in the face.

A scar on my forehead when I tripped over as a 4 year old.

Scars on my hands from broken glass.

Scar on my right arm from steam on the loose.

Scar on my left arm from an intoxicated lady that hit me with a bottle.

"Scar" from a black eye that never really faded away.

I had a bad habit of playing with kinfes when I was a kid. I got scar on my right index finger from a pocket knife and a scar running down the side of my left wrist I got from sharpening a knife when I was a drunken teenager. I was holding the sharpener in my left hand and pulling the knife across with the other.
Then I got a scar on the top side of that wrist while trying to to split a tree limb down the middle with a machete. I'm starting to feel embrasssed talking about all my clumbsy accidents.

I still have a scar from opening a sharp can of pudding as a child...
back when pudding had metal lids.

As far as I know... I may be the only living human with a "pudding scar."

But those are the hands that will protect anyone that is important to you and those "scars" as you call them are proof of that and will do anything for them :)

Get stitches right away or an infection later. And the scars are much bigger wound has to grow new skin to fill in the space were the skin isn't closed.

ANYway...it's about time I contribute something non-sarcastic to this thread:

Since recently, for some strange reason, even my deepest wounds just fade away in a matter of weeks. I haven't had any new scars for years now...idk what's up with that. :/
someone's probably praying for you then if not many people!
