You mean Revelation 18:1-4?

No reason for adding the (s) to Revelation. There is more than one Revelation however hence Revelations :)

God's true Church or followers, who are they?...............

God's true Church meaning; ἐκκλησία; ekklēsia; ek-klay-see'-ah = an assembly of believers; that have the Word of God and are sanctified by it.

God's Church is organized but it is not an organization it is the believers that are gatherer together in His name...

Matthew 18:20

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

John 10:16
Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

John 4:23-24
23, But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Who are these people......

Revelations 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelations 14:12

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelations 22:14-15
14, Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15, For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whore mongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.

If we knowingly break one of God's commandments we are guilty before God of breaking all of them...

James 2:8-12
8, If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. 10, For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11, For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12, So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
If we are following the traditions of man breaking God's commandments are we following god or man?

Matthew 15:3-9
3, But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4, For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. 5, But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; 6, And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 7, Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9, But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Sunday worship is a tradition of man breaking God's commandments which was introduced into Christianity by the RCC. Who should we follow God or man?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all man everywhere to repent and believe the Gospel. Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

I enjoy your posts, but want to ask about the "Sunday worship"

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against YHWH, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of YHWH, and think to change times and Laws…"

Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1, 1923 - “Sunday is our mark or authority...the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.”

Mattithyah 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

Mark 3:4, “And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.”

Mattithyah 24:20, "But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day."

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahanan, saw the holy city, YHWH Shammah, coming down from YHWH out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and YHWH Himself will be with them, and be their Father.”

I believe the 7th day was, is and always will be the Sabbath of YHWH, that will never change, and I know the catholic circus fulfilled Dan 7 in thinking to change times and laws. But I have a question, when ou say "Sunday worship" do you mean worshiping on Sunday or thinking that Sunday is now set apart as THE holy day of Yah?

Yes that's correct Dan. This applies to breaking any of God's commandments and why we need a new heart to be born again through faith in God's Word. Saving faith works by love and love is the fulfilling of God's Law in us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.....

The New Covenant........

Hebrews 8:10-12
10, For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:5 and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11, And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12, For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Ezekiel 36
26,A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27, And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Must be born again to love God and man
........

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.

Romans 2:29
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (see also 1 Corinthians 13; Hebrews 8:10-12)

1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.

We must be born again through Faith in God’s Word. If you are born again you will not practice sin…...........

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Sin (breaking God’s Law) and love do not go together, only obedience and love through faith go together....

Romans 13:8-10
8, Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loves another hath fulfilled the law. 9, For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10, Love works no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

James 2:8-12; 17
8, If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

Being Born again by Faith in God's Word is the victory that overcomes the world..........

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

Luke 8:11
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

1John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1Peter 1:22-23
22, Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:23, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever.

The New Covenant is faith in God's Word alone for salvation that works by love because love is the fulfilling of God's Law...

Romans 8:1-4
1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2, For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3, For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin,1 condemned sin in the flesh: 4, That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 14:10
Believe thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.

We can do nothing unless we abide in God's Word by faith............

John 1:14
Andthe Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. <The Word of God is Jesus>

John 15:3-6
3, Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4, Abide in me, and I in you <Faith in the Word>. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me <the Word> ye can do nothing. 6, If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

John 17:17
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

2Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God <the Word> all things are possible.

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believe. <Faith the victory>

Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

May God be praised who can open the blind eyes to see and the deaf to hear and cause the lame to walk.... Many are called but few are chosen because narrow is the way few there be that can find it. Only the mirror can show the way. Can you hear His voice? He stands at the door and knocks will you let him in? Who art thou Lord? I am Jesus the Word. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Speak the Word only and my servant shall be healed. The mirror shows the way. I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance but go learn what that means... It is only through love that we can keep God's commandments because love is the fulfilling of God's Law in us who walk by faith and not by sight we are the blind who love him who first loved us...

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word....
Great post LGF...but how does the MIRROR show the way ? you mentioned this several times so I guess there is something important i'm missing. I have always believed that 'the Word of God shows us the way to go. The analogy with the mirror Jas 1, is to see my own wretched state/condition and be moved to do something about it....turn to Christ the Word of God !!!

Hi Hizikyah,

YES, YES!! The Christian world has been deceived into following the teachings and traditions of man (Roman Catholic Church) over the word of God breaking God's 4th commandment. This is the great Whore called Babylon who is the Mother of Harlots (Fallen Protestantism) of Revelations 14; 17 and 18. The daughters are like their Mother.

God's Word warns all today that if we are following the teachings and traditions or man breaking any of God's Law we are committing sin and are in danger of God's judgement. Many do so however in ignorance and in times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to repent. God is calling His people out of these Churches to worship him in Spirit and in truth. These are they that hear the voice of the true Shepherd (the Word).

Matthew 15:3-9
3, But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4, For God commanded, saying, Honor thy father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death. 5, But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou might be profited by me; 6, And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 7, Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8, This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9, But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.12, So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Acts 17:30-31
30, And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent. 31, Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

The book of Daniel and Revelations go together and compliment each other. These are the two witness of the Old and the New.

May God continue to bless you as you seek him through His Word!

No one who keeps on sinning has seen him or known him.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+jo+3&version=nirv

is it a sin to not remember the Sabbath day?

we don't want to judge any particular person. But generally speaking, we can say that those who make a habit of not remembering the Sabbath have not seen Christ or known him.
I find this interesting...HOW does one make a habit of not remembering something ? you mean just to continually IGNORE it even though you ARE aware of it ? I would call that 'defiance and rebellion', not just a simple case of 'not remembering'....because one already KNOWS what God wants but just refuses to do it.

Hi sister Beta,

Speaking plainly now and not in parables.......

James 1:23-24
23, For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:24, For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straight away forgets what manner of man he was.

The mirror is the Word of God. The Word of God through God's Law (10 commandments) shows us what manner of man we are, sinners in need of a savior. The mirror shows the way to Jesus (the Word) so that by beholding we might be changed..........................

2 Corinthians 3:18

But we all, with open face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Without the mirror we are all blind. The way is narrow we cannot find it with no mirror. Many throw away the mirror (God's Law) and say they see but do not know they are really blind. Those that look into the mirror know and see that they are blind and call out to the Lord to save them. The mirror shows us that we are poor, blind, naked and sick of whom it is written; They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. The mirror shows the way to Jesus (the Word) and faith is the victory!

He must increase (the Word) and I must decrease. We must point all to the Word of God because it is only there anyone can find Jesus.

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

The mirror is the perfect and holy law of God, aka Torah or translated into English Instruction. Don't look away forgetting what this instruction has revealed for you also.

Now it has been explained to me how you view the 'mirror to be the Word of God, His Holy and perfect law' I can see we are on the same level of understanding....God be praised !
I always saw the mirror as a means to expose my own flaws and faults but of course the 'correction was always in the Word of God....so basically we are in agreement...bless you all !

Are you referring to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the creation on one side and heaven on the other. All in the spirit can be seen and when the mirror is taken away only that which was in the Holy Spirit, that is all that could be seen will remain???

Jesus is our great example......

Matthew 13:10-15

10, And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11, He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12, For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13, Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14, And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:15, For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word!

1, And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters: 2, With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3, So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.4, And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5, And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS2 AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6, And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7, And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

A Woman represents God's People professing to follow God or not follow God...........

• WOMAN, PURE = True Church (Jeremiah 6:2; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:23-27)
• WOMAN, CORRUPT = Apostate church (Ezk 16:15-58; 23:2-21; Hos. 2:5; 3:1; Rev. 14:4)

• WOMAN HARLOT = Apostate church/religion (Isaiah 1:21-27; Jeremiah 3:1-3; 6-9)

God is calling his Sheep out to worship him in Spirit and in truth

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

John 10:16
Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

John 4:23

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him.

John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Let's put it all together
..........
Babylon represents a fallen woman who is a great Whore. She is also the Mother of Harlots. The great whore and mother of harlot represents the great mother Church (The Roman Catholic Church) her harlot daughters that have come out of her represent fallen Protestantism. God has his people in all Churches but the time has now come when he is calling His people out of the fallen Churches to worship God in Spirit and in truth....

Mother Church?

More information see here...

May God bless you as you seek him through his Word...
sounds like yes, in your view, the general catagory of users here on CC,
such as myself,
who claim to believe in Jesus and to be followers of Christ
but don't remember the Sabbath Day
are not born again.

I see. How do you understand this from Romans,
"The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God"

Am I decieved about the witness of the Spirit as well?

God has his people in all Churches......................
I didn't see your answer to this

would you say that remembering the Sabbath Day involves doing different actions on the other six days than on the Seventh Day?

I find this interesting...HOW does one make a habit of not remembering something ? you mean just to continually IGNORE it even though you ARE aware of it ? I would call that 'defiance and rebellion', not just a simple case of 'not remembering'....because one already KNOWS what God wants but just refuses to do it.
"Remembering the Sabbath" is often understood to involve doing different actions on the other six days than on the Seventh Day.

so, we have the phrase "No one who keeps on sinning". The "keeps on" sounds like a lifestyle, a habit.

if not remembering the Sabbath is a sin, then we have "No one who keeps on not remembering the Sabbath."

LGF could you please explain what you mean when you say

God has his people in all churches
at face value this can mean that God does not have a special church of His own and it matters not which one His people attend. I'm sure you can not mean that....rather....
that God calls HIS people OUT OF all the worldly churches....would that be correct ?

Of course...to keep on doing something is a habit or lifestyle....
but once you KNOW 'NOT to keep on doing it' yet STILL keep on doing it must surely be a habit turned to rebellion. Once you KNOW you can not pretend not to remember...it's ALREADY in your memory (unless one is mentally lacking).

Seems there are a few twists and turns in this reasoning...typical of a natural man looking for an excuse not to remember...while all the time he KNOWS !

let each of us look at our own Doings and we will see the truth.

The Sabbath is for holy convocations and assemblies to be instructed in the Word of God.....
the other 6 days are for normal work Lev 23v2,3.
However, the NT is more relaxed on this and we are now allowed to do good works and have an easier approach to assembling in formal meetings...we can just spend time in the WORD and have fellowship with the Father and the Son when church attendance is not possible....since we won't find one on every street corner...perhaps not even every town.
When we are obedient to God the Holy Spirit will teach what is right and it is not essential for a human preacher to instruct !

suppose I rephrase post 3270 this way

***************************************

No one who keeps on sinning has seen him or known him.

If we don't keep the Sabbath day holy by doing different activities on it, is that a sin?

we don't want to judge any particular person. But generally speaking, we can say that those who make a habit of not keeping the Sabbath day holy by doing different activities on it have not seen Christ or known him.

*********************************

If it is a sin, and has become a habit, the yes, that is rebellion.
