The Sabbath is for holy convocations and assemblies to be instructed in the Word of God.....
the other 6 days are for normal work Lev 23v2,3.
However, the NT is more relaxed on this and we are now allowed to do good works and have an easier approach to assembling in formal meetings...we can just spend time in the WORD and have fellowship with the Father and the Son when church attendance is not possible....since we won't find one on every street corner...perhaps not even every town.
When we are obedient to God the Holy Spirit will teach what is right and it is not essential for a human preacher to instruct !
in your view, then, someone might be keeping the Sabbath in a purely mental state, with no change in their actions?

LGF could you please explain what you mean when you say
God has his people in all churches
at face value this can mean that God does not have a special church of His own and it matters not which one His people attend. I'm sure you can not mean that....rather....
that God calls HIS people OUT OF all the worldly churches....would that be correct ?
Hello sister Beta, God does indeed have his people in every Church but there is also a true fold that God is calling his people into so they can worship him in Spirit and in truth. Maybe I did not write post # 3283 clear enough. Please forgive me if this was the case.

God's people are clearly described in God's Word as those that have the word of God and are sanctified by it. It is not an organization although they are all organized under God.

Why has God got his followers in all Churches?...................

Because some people genuinely love Jesus but may be deceived or do not know of certain things in God's Word that are true and need to be followed. In these cases until they have the opportunity to know the truth of God's Word and have the opportunity to accept or reject God's Word, the scripture tells us as long as someone is living up to all the knowledge of the scriptures that God has revealed to them they are still following God and are God's people. It is the heart of Love that matters also with God not only how much someone knows. Only God knows the heart. This is why it is written;

In times of ignorance God winks at (when someone does not know any better) but now (when I knowledge of the truth has come) commands all men everywhere to repent (follow God's truth). Acts 17:30. There are many example of this all through the NT with the Jews rejecting Jesus but then after they found the truth and were converted turned to follow Jesus. (Revelations 18:1-4 is the end days calling out of God's people from the fallen Church.

The true fold worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth who are they? .........................

God indeed has a true fold. This is the fold that Jesus will bring all his people and the one that the disciples where already a part of spoken of in John.

John 10:16
Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

John 4:23-24
23, But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Gods true fold all people are being called into are clearly described in God's Word..........

Revelations 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelations 14:12

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelations 22:14-15
14, Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15, For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whore mongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.

God's true fold (Church) is described as keeping all the commandments of God because through the faith of Jesus (the Word) God has worked in them and healed them so they now love both God and man (1Thess 2:13; Philippians 2:13) of which the 7th Day Sabbath is a sign to all that they are indeed God's people (Ezekiel 20:12)

Much of the world has been deceived by the Roman Catholic Church into breaking the 7th Day Sabbath commandment of God. In times of ignorance God winks at but calls all men everywhere to repent.

If we knowingly break any one of God's 10 commandments we are guilty before God of breaking all of them...

James 2:8-12
8, If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. 10, For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11, For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12, So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
If we are following the traditions of man breaking God's commandments are we following god or man?

Matthew 15:3-9
3, But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4, For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. 5, But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; 6, And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 7, Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9, But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Sunday worship is a tradition of man breaking God's commandments which was introduced into Christianity by the RCC. Who should we follow God or man?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all man everywhere to repent and believe the Gospel. Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9). Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word!

sounds like yes, in your view, the general catagory of users here on CC,
such as myself,
who claim to believe in Jesus and to be followers of Christ
but don't remember the Sabbath Day
are not born again.
I see. How do you understand this from Romans,
"The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God"
Am I decieved about the witness of the Spirit as well?
Hi Dan post # 3302 is also for you sorry it timed out so could not add your quote above which provides most of the scriptures. Your statement above is not correct and is not what I am saying. What I am saying is that God has his people (born again Christians) in all Churches as long as they are living up to all the knowledge of truth that God has given them. Once they reject the Word of God however then they no longer are part of God's people and are in unbelief and in danger of the judgement. In times of ignorance God winks at but now commands all men everywhere to repent. If God send you a knowledge of His truth and you reject God's Word it is written.......

Hebrews 10:26-27
26, For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,27, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

This also includes the breaking of God's 4th commandment which the world has been deceived into following and why God is seeking to call his true followers out of the Churches that teach this deception.

We must all ask ourselves are we following God or not? Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

May God bless you as you seek him through his Word.

I didn't see your answer to this
would you say that remembering the Sabbath Day involves doing different actions on the other six days than on the Seventh Day?
The Jews (Pharisees/Lawyers) had placed so many restrictions on the Sabbath commandment that it had become a burden to the people and was nearly impossible to keep (Luke 13:14; John 5:10-18; 9:16; etc.). This was never how the Sabbath was to be kept. What did Jesus teach us about the Sabbath? Let's look to the Word of God.....

1. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)
2. Jesus made the Sabbath for all mankind (Mark 2:27)
3. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28)
4. If you do not believe and follow God you cannot enter His Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4)
5. It is one of God’s 10 commandments we break it we are guilty or breaking all (James 2:8-12)
6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
7. God’s true followers keep it Holy as God commanded (Rev 14:12; Rev 22:14; Eze 20:20)
8. Jesus is our example and he kept the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; 1 Cor 11:1; Eph 5:1-21; Pet 2:20-22)
9. The Apostle kept the Sabbath (Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

God’s Law in the NC is written on our hearts it is through love and it is love that fulfills God’s Law in us as we walk not after the flesh but after the spirit and is why Jesus says f you love me keep my commandments. (John 14:15; John 15:10). If we knowingly and willfully break one of God’s commandments we commit sin (1 John 3:4). This includes the 7th Day Sabbath which Jesus made for us and commands us to keep as a holy day.

God gives us the other six days to labor and work and do whatever we like. We worship God everyday but the 7th Day God says is a Holy day that God has made for His people. Jesus is the maker of this day. It is the "Lords Day" and God has commanded us to keep it Holy (Mark 2:27-28; Exodus 20:8-11). The Sabbath is a sign that we worship the only true God of creation (Ezekiel 20:12). We follow Jesus because we love him (John 14:15;15:10). Love is the fulfilling of God's Law in us as we walk by faith in the Spirit.

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

Problem arrives with this.

6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
Not to mention that the reference given has nothing to do with sabbath the whole idea is non christian and is throwback to the old laws of the Jews.
I really do not know why people are so keen to find legalism in bible this is exactly what Jesus came to remove.
Why people make obstacles to themselves i do not know.

The question is ... legalism or spiritualism.

What one thinks is "breaking the sabbath" One thinks it is not and so people argue just like in days of the old testament can one get cow out of the well.
Why we need go back to that nonsense i do not know.

Not at all. Sin is the transgression of God's 10 commandments. Let's look at the scriptures line upon line precept upon precept here a little there a little as God's Word commands us (Isaiah 28:10)

God's Law (10 commandments) is the standard of sin (breaking it) and righteousness (obedience).................

1 John 3:4

Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Romans 7:7

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet <10th commandment; Exodus 20:17>.

Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

James 2:11
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Seems like John, Paul and Peter all agree that sin is breaking God's 10 commandments. Now the 4th commandment is....

Exodus 20:8-11
8, Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9, Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10, But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

If we knowingly break the 4th commandment is it sin?.........................

James 2:8-12
8, If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

So God's Word says if we knowingly break any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of breaking all of them. In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to repent.

I really do not know why people are so keen to find legalism in bible this is exactly what Jesus came to remove. Why people make obstacles to themselves i do not know. You question only shows you do not know what it means to be Born again.....

We must be born again to love God and man........

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.

Romans 2:29
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (see also 1 Corinthians 13; Hebrews 8:10-12)

1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.

We must be born again through Faith in God’s Word. If you are born again you will not practice sin…...........

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Sin (breaking God’s Law) and love do not go together, only obedience and love through faith go together....

Romans 13:8-10
8, Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loves another hath fulfilled the law. 9, For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10, Love works no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

James 2:8-12; 17
8, If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

Being Born again by Faith in God's Word is the victory that overcomes the world..........

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

Luke 8:11
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

1John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1Peter 1:22-23
22, Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:23, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever.

The New Covenant is faith in God's Word alone for salvation that works by love because love is the fulfilling of God's Law...

Romans 8:1-4
1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2, For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3, For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin,1 condemned sin in the flesh: 4, That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 14:10
Believe thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.

We can do nothing unless we abide in God's Word by faith............

John 1:14
Andthe Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. <The Word of God is Jesus>

John 15:3-6
3, Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4, Abide in me, and I in you <Faith in the Word>. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me <the Word> ye can do nothing. 6, If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

John 17:17
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

2Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God <the Word> all things are possible.

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believe. <Faith the victory>

Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

May God be praised who can open the blind eyes to see and the deaf to hear and cause the lame to walk.... Many are called but few are chosen because narrow is the way few there be that can find it. Only the mirror can show the way. Can you hear His voice? He stands at the door and knocks will you let him in? Who art thou Lord? I am Jesus the Word. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Speak the Word only and my servant shall be healed. The mirror shows the way. I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance but go learn what that means... It is only through love that we can keep God's commandments because love is the fulfilling of God's Law in us who walk by faith and not by sight we are the blind who love him who first loved us... Do you hear his voice?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word....

Not at all. Sin is the transgression of God's 10 commandments. Let's look at the scriptures line upon line precept upon precept here a little there a little as God's Word commands us (Isaiah 28:10)

God's Law (10 commandments) is the standard of sin (breaking it) and righteousness (obedience).................

Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Romans 7:7

So God's Word says if we knowingly break any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of breaking all of them. In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to repent.

We should not point people to the teachings of men over the Word of God. You quote yourself over the Word of God. This only shows all you do not know Him who loves all. For me, he must increase and I must decrease. I only point all to the Word of God because it is there we find the one who loves us that we may love him. I know him and am known by him. All that he shows me I see and must show to all because I am blind. He tells me it is those that see that do not see. These are they that have once known him or do not know him. Who am I that he should choose me out of the world? I am no one but he is all. If I did not believe him I would not know him. What can I do without him? He is love and now I love. I follow him now because I love him who first loved me. I do not judge you but His Word will judge us because they are there for all to see. All are welcome to see and hear God's Word, however many are called but few are chosen.

The light shines in darkness; but the darkness does not understand. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Light is come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Who can know the Word of God when there is no Word? If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word....

You question has been answered in my posts but you close your eyes so you cannot see. I know him and am known by him, I abide in him and he in me because I am free to love him who fist loved me. Unless you are born again you cannot know him or abide in him. You cannot be free to love if you are not in him and he in you..

That's a rather pointless question so I can understand noone answering your question since whom you're asking this question to,already has made "clear" that they are a christian.

Because some people genuinely love Jesus but may be deceived or do not know of certain things in God's Word that are true and need to be followed. In these cases until they have the opportunity to know the truth of God's Word and have the opportunity to accept or reject God's Word, the scripture tells us as long as someone is living up to all the knowledge of the scriptures that God has revealed to them they are still following God and are God's people. It is the heart of Love that matters also with God not only how much someone knows. Only God knows the heart. This is why it is written;

I have carefully read and studied the Bible for many years, yet have come to very different conclusions than yourself. What is the way out of the alleged deception if not careful reading and studying the Bible?

17:29 If then we are the offspring of God, it is not right for us to have the idea that God is like gold or silver or stone, formed by the art or design of man.
Those times when men had no knowledge were overlooked by God;

---- the things that God overlooked were when people thought that God is like gold or silver or stone.

but now

----- when is the "now"? around a.d.50 give or take a decade seems the best answer to me.

he gives orders to all men in every place to undergo a change of heart:
Because a day has been fixed in which all the world will be judged in righteousness by the man who has been marked out by him for this work; of which he has given a sign to all men by giving him back from the dead.

------- because the sign happening "now" is the resurrection of Jesus/Yahshua.

did I speak for him?no,
I simply stated my point of view on your question, for you asked something you ought to be able to discern for yourself concerning a person, for it is written,"you shall know them by their fruits",this person from posts I have witnessed has expressed multiple times that they have faith in God and are a christian, that is simply my personal observation,if you found an answer from my post then so be it,but I wasn't speaking for this individual, only for myself and my observations of this person nothing more.

Dan sometimes when you are not sure of scripture it is good to follow God's instructions of line upon line and precept upon precept. Let's start first with the full context before moving to other scriptures to help with the interpretation.

The context is Paul who has been called to witness about the Gospel to the men in Athens in Acts 17. Our key verse is v30 but lets start in v16 and work our way up.

Key question to consider........

Did the men in Athens know the doctrine of Paul?........................

Acts 17:16-21
16, Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. 17, Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him. 18, Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seems to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection. 19, And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus,4 saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof you speaks, is? 20, For thou bring certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean. 21, For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.

No they did not know of the Gospel or the "New doctrine" of Paul and they wanted to hear about it. So they were in ignorance correct? They did not know at that time what was the Gospel or the new doctrine of Paul.

Let's continue as Paul now preaches the Gospel or the "New Doctrine" that the men of Athens did not know about..............

Acts 17:22-29
22, Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill,5 and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. 23, For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions,6 I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. 24, <Preaching the true God> God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; 25, Neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things; 26, And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27, That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28, For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. 29, For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device < v29, God is not a statue or an Idol of silver or gold made by man>

The men of Athens were worshiping God in ignorance by making and worshiping Idols in ignorance, not according to God's Word................

Acts 17:30-33
30, And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent:

What ignorance? v29 Trying to worship God by making and worshiping Idols. If we make anything an Idol over the Word of God we are worshiping Idols over God's Word.

31, Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. 32, And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter. 33, So Paul departed from among them.

Let's put the context together.......

Paul was speaking to those that did not know God. They were in ignorance to the Word of God and were worshiping idols of gold, silver and stone made with mans hands (breaking the 1st and 2nd commandments Exodus 20:3-6). Paul preached the truth to these men who were in ignorance and said...."And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent" Many did not believe and left but some believed.

Ok lets move on to other supporting scripture
with a similar scene to the Jews..........

Acts 3:12-17
12, And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? 13, The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. 14, But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15, And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.16, And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. 17, And now, brethren, I know that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
Once again this time Peter agreeing with Paul the Jews not accepting Jesus through ignorance........

James 4:17

Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.

James agrees with Paul and Peter that we are only held accountable for what we know, not what we do not know..........
Do you believe that God hold's people accountable to sin if they do not know that it is sin and they do so in ignorance?God is always trying to reach people in ignorance this is why God's people have been given the great commission to preach the Gospel to every nation (Mark 16:15). All people that do not know God's Word are in ignorance and if we do not help them they will be lost.....

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,
that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Proverbs 1:27-31
27, When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28, Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 29, For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30, They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 31, Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

Romans 2:12

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
When a knowledge of the truth comes and you reject it then you have rejected your only means of salvation which is believing and following the Word of God........

Hebrews 10:26-27
26, For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Hope this is helpful........
