Please explain. Does sin not emanate from the will of man? His heart, and not his body?
Has anybody said in this thread that they will not sin anymore?

Temptation is not sin. If it is, then Jesus was a sinner.

You can say. And you do say so.
There are others who say they do sin and acknowledge that before God, they confess it (totally different from those who don’t give two hoots about sinning)

But if you don't quit those sins for good, you have in essence lied to God.
Confession is garbage if you don't change your ways.

Those believers you judge as sinners and more or less say they are going to hell.
I don't judge anybody.
The word of God, that I use, does that.
If men feel guilty, they can change their ways like I did.

If memory serves me it’s Jesus who sits on judgement over people both those who profess faith and those who don’t.

Pjw I do not willfully sin.. why? Because GOD loves and forgave me of my sin through Faith in His Son my Lord and Saviour.

Our Gracious GOD is my Father through Faith in His Son and I love my Father. I delight in His Commandments because I Love Him.. more than anything.. everyone knows the score I won’t tell my children a lie that I love them more than GOD because it is GOD who taught me what Love is.. and through this Love I can love.. Many would gasp but My First Love is GOD.. and though the Messiah teaches this.. I find it in my Heart as if His Word testifies to that which is within.. rather than the other.. which is the Holy Spirit of Truth.. the same Truth spoken by the Messiah.. a mystery .. not for we believers.. because His Words are life and that life be within all by the power of GOD to those that Repent and Believe.

Here is my thought.. rather than tell everyone you don’t sin.. because we can neither attest or deny.. but Christ will judge you and I as doers of the Royal Law..

Why not share the Love and forgiveness you received.. yes share your hope and point sheep forward to the Good Shepherd so they Hear His voice as you did..

GOD is my Lord and GOD Himself knows if I willfully sin.. for like Bill said we are given our daily prayer and I will not sleep until I pray this.. no boast .. but the Words are part of our daily walk on the path of Righteousness..

Because of Christ’s Victory I’m under Grace at liberty to Love.. Kept by the power of GOD just as many are and undeservedly..

BTW, there is no sin that is not done on purpose.
James makes it pretty clear in James 1:14-15 that there are a few steps to accomplish before sin is committed.

NO, it is a prayer that the Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) recites EVERY SUNDAY, because they realize and understand that the SIN NATURE is in our mortal flesh until the day we DIE.
Apparently they don't beleive in "rebirth".

To be perfect like GOD is to be without sin.. we are to set our heart to obey Christ..

To accuse a man of sin without being able to prove is not brotherly love.. if a person does not believe in Christ then they are condemned and have sinned.. but after a person believes and is purged.. be not the one to accuse him without proof.

Trust the keeping power of the name of the Lord and the Spirit, folks. We can't be like the hog being washed up for the county fair, only to roll in the next mud puddle inside the gate on the way to the barn. If it could, should it explain it was in fact washed clean, but the mud keeps getting on, so it needs daily washing? We are supposed to be freed up enough not to fall back, backslide by habit, forever needing the same treatment from God we needed before we first believed.

Here is a thought.. and you can ignore all my thoughts.. but I will share...

If I go in to a store and decide to steal a loaf of bread and do.. my sin is willfully..

If I go in to the store and forget to pay for that bread my sin is not willfully.. once I learn of the matter I go and pay for the bread..


Now.. I could go on and on.. and I have had to send money and return to pay for items I had not paid for my mistake.. sometimes the workers look at me like are you for real.. but even the smallest item must be paid for once I’m aware.

Now GOD knows we are mortals and so many distractions.. so yes.. some things are ignorant tresspasses that need remorse and restore. It is the Holy Spirit within that guides and comforts.. and somethings are in ignorance.

By some standards when by mistake I’m at the incorrect speed for the road which sometimes Iam I’m sinning.. i Believe not.. but some believe that.

i don’t speed but at times I get the speed limit wrong and reduce my speed once aware..

to say that one is not sinless is not an accusation. it is a fact. using the Biblical definition of sin, missing the mark, falling short of a standard, knowing to do good, and not doing so, no one can truthfully say that they are sinless.

ya'll do know that on judgement day, God is not going to ask you your opinion. you get 2 choices. one, accept Christ's righteousness, two, perfectly keep the Law. if you forfeit one, you have to stand on two. and, according to James, the brother of the Lord, if you break one command, you break them all.

that is all it takes. one time. one mistake. one bad decision. forget the willfull vs. unwilful sin deception. use scripture. not your church or personal or denominational opinions.

To "willfully sin" in the Greek carries the idea of deliberate intention that is habitual, which stems from rejecting Christ deliberately. This is CONTINUOUS ACTION - A MATTER OF PRACTICE. Now we don't walk along our daily life and accidently fall into a pit called sin. We exercise our will but, the use of the participle clearly shows a CONTINUOUS ACTION. No remorse, no repentance just bring it on!

The unrighteous practice sin - (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21); not the righteous, who are born of God - (1 Corinthians 6:11; 1 John 3:9).
If you can't say "I have no sin", doesn't that make your sin habitual?

If the Lord said to not sin then we are to believe Him and that if the Lord spoke it.. it is possible by the power of GOD if we believe...

Do not doubt the Lord.. Believe His Word.

Salvation won't be assured till after the final judgement.
Life is a marathon, not a sprint.
Peter's new life didn't start till he was "quickened" by the Holy Ghost.

You seem to look at the alleged unrighteous for your examples.

EVEN DANIEL confessed his sins......now watch them say Daniel was not saved.......
Daniel had the days of atonement for his sins.
According to the "sin won't keep you out of heaven" crowd, only the sacrificial animals enjoyed a better life after Jesus' resurrection.
Thank God for the rebirth...of Godly seed that CANNOT bring forth evil fruit.
