Well looks like the underlying problem is a confusion between being "free from sin" and "being sinless/perfect" Jesus is the truth and sets us free from sin free indeed but this does not make us sinless it means we are given a capacity through Jesus to "reject sin" it does not change the fact that we "have sin" but through Jesus are "not a slave to sin" once saved through him and thus being "born again" in christ but though our "hearts and thoughts" change our flesh still remains and so though it doesn't control us when we focus on Jesus it will still persist to enflare our minds and so also shall satan try to have us seek a sin driven life in whatever way possible,Jesus sets us free from having sin so constantly in our thoughts as well as the idea to think of it as something "good" once born again we start to see sin as"bad" but sin still remains.
It is possible to start over with a new slate without sin, inevitably we will sin in someway this does not mean the same as being a slave to sin, willfully sinning is quite a difference,it shows that you seek darkness over light, chaos over peace, satan over Jesus, because such a person is unashamed of their sinning delighting in it.
Sorry to see you come to such a...sad conclusion.
There is no difference between "free from sin and "sinless perfection".
After our rebirth, which necessitated the death of the old man and his nature, we are of the seed of God, and cannot bring forth evil fruit anymore.

Let me ask you a question, please.
Do you delight in your sins?
If not, what forces you to commit them?

God has made a way to live without ever sinning again.
But you keep defending your sorry trek.
Making excuses, (cheerfully provided by other slaves to sin), making sin plausible fruit of the seed of God.
Time for a real "turn from sin".
Freedom is here on earth .

If we do not spray the weeds with Round Up they will choke out the garden...........
Round up is poisonous..

That mentality truly reminds me of those that killed believers of Christ.

anyone that has different beliefs to you are to be poisoned.. vile much.

Now back on track.....

The bible is clear....Any work, fruit, service that a person does is the direct result of the salvation and faith that one already possesses in Christ. NONE here have advocated a do nothing religion.....none here push a live as we please dogma, none here push a live like the "debil Bobby Buche" lifestyle......

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

It is faith and faith alone that saves.....and the bible teaches the following...

Man justified before God by FAITH <---Paul in Romans
Man's faith that justifies before God seen by MEN based upon our works <--James

There is no contradiction whatsoever at all....
Do you have faith in this..."There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Cor 10:13)?
Wouldn't "looking for the escapes" be counted as proof of our faith and impending salvation?

NO, you are spiritually Rightous in HIS SIGHT because of what HE DID, BUT BECAUSE OF ADAM, you still a sin nature, that will cause you to sin again and again, in the future, therefore it is absolutely NECESSARY that your lifestyle be characterized as one who Confesses every new sin one discovers in your life. That requires you to do an in depth study of what all GOD considers sin. I am willing to say it has been YEARS since you studied anything about sin, and YOU TOTALLY STOPPED MOURNING OVER YOUR SINS TOO. You even acted like you had NO IDEA that there are Sins of OMISSION as well as Sins of Comission.

James 4:17 (NIV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins. {Give to the poor; if a neighbor is in the hospital, go mow his lawn without being asked; Visit the sick and elderly; give food to the hungry and do not make it something small, make it at least one of the following; etc.}
Is your lack of faith in rebirth your own belief, or is it something you have been (mis)taught?

and you think you don't sin. too bad.
I agree with scriptures, like..." He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." (1 John 3:8-10)

You do not even know what the sin nature is, do you?
Yes I do, and I think it was my picture in the dictionary by it's definition. (LOL)

I noticed you left out the most important part of that verse, the part that only genuinely Born Again Believers can fully understand.
Matthew 7:23 (HCSB)
[SUP]23 [/SUP]
Then I will announce to them,I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’

It wasn't pertinent to the subject.

Have you ever in your life MOURNED and CRIED over your utter sinfulness?
Yes, I have.
It provoked me to a real "turn from" sin and my baptism in Jesus' name for the remission of my past sins.
That produced the death of the old man and the resurrection of the new man who walks in newness of life.
Perhaps some day you will partake in the amazing grace of God too.
I hope you do it soon, you so won't mourn over wasting one more day in sin.

Has anybody said in this thread that they will not sin anymore?

Temptation is not sin. If it is, then Jesus was a sinner.
I've said it plenty of times.
And I say it for the glory of God and the name of Jesus Christ.

perfect in that verse means mature, not without sin. do some studying, get some actual facts, stop the " I don't sin ' lies.
That word also means "perfect".
Quit advocating disobedience to God.

James 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
I just get offended with your post. I ask who sin?

You are condemning the acts of Jesus in jerusalem.
Thankfully, God has made a way to live without sin.
With a real repentance from sin, and baptism in Jesus' name for the remission of your past sins: (plus the killing of the old man and rebirth of the new creature), you can quit defending sin and start defending righteousness.
The blessings you will receive will more than make up for the lusts you leave behind.
Who is talking about lusts, there are LOTS of sins that do not involve lusts. What kind of Church do you go to?

The HOLY SPIRIT, births your dead human spirit into eternal life the moment you truly believe, do you even know that?

Here is a thought.. and you can ignore all my thoughts.. but I will share...
If I go in to a store and decide to steal a loaf of bread and do.. my sin is willfully..
If I go in to the store and forget to pay for that bread my sin is not willfully.. once I learn of the matter I go and pay for the bread..
Now.. I could go on and on.. and I have had to send money and return to pay for items I had not paid for my mistake.. sometimes the workers look at me like are you for real.. but even the smallest item must be paid for once I’m aware.
Now GOD knows we are mortals and so many distractions.. so yes.. some things are ignorant tresspasses that need remorse and restore. It is the Holy Spirit within that guides and comforts.. and somethings are in ignorance.

By some standards when by mistake I’m at the incorrect speed for the road which sometimes Iam I’m sinning.. i Believe not.. but some believe that.

i don’t speed but at times I get the speed limit wrong and reduce my speed once aware..
If you were not tempted to satisfy some lust, and were not enticed to steal it, it is no sin.
Had you realized you got it without paying, and kept it, it would be a sin.

Mistakes are not sins, thankfully, or my check book would be reason for my destruction.
Love God above all else...and at whatever cost, and love your neighbor as yourself...unto death.

If you were offended, it is because you don't believe in rebirth.
James' "we" were the dispensers of hot and cold water. Good and bad interpretations of doctrine.
The "spigots" were teaching conflicting things.
Sweet and sour cannot come from one spoon...so to speak.

What do you mean it wasn't pertinent? KNOWING HIM, (that inner personal LOVE relationship with CHRIST, submitting in LOVE to him as LORD, meaning MASTER), is the SINGLE MOST PERTINANT THING ABOUT A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST. I Mourned and Cried so deeply that first night that it was not stop sobbing for 5 hours. HE HAS BEEN IN CONTROL OF MY LIFE since that night 29-30 Dec, 1977. I have seen him work so many minor miracles in my life that I could not even begin to count them. You are following a FALSE PROPHET.

The result of repentance and baptism in Jesus' name for the remission of your past sins is that we can crucify the flesh with the affections and lusts. (Gal 5:24)
All sin involves lust. (James 1:14-15)

I got..."And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." (Rom 8:10-11)

Your derail isn't working.
The point I made was that in the end, after a life of supposed holiness, many will not enter paradise BECAUSE THEY STILL COMMITTED SINS.

If He is in control of your life, I guess you don't commit sn anymore.
Right?

The temptation comes from the knowledge.. the flesh would delight in a freebie without punishment.. the Spirit leads us to do the right thing indeed...

It is like saying something in error.. confusing a day or time to knowingly lying to deceive a person.. once we realise the error we try to set the record straight so to speak...

And your last line is Truth above all.

thanks for sharing PJW...

It is the dead, crucified with Christ, body that is "quickened" by the Spirit.
AND GUESS HOW LONG THAT TAKES? A LIFE TIME, Thus as Dr. MacArthur said, a Christian sins LESS and LESS, and Less as he matures spiritually.

YOUR WAY FALSELY ASSUMES ONE TIME AND ALL SIN IS GONE.

SO HOW COME WE ARE TOLD TO TAKE UP THE CROSS DAILY?

Luke 9:23 (ASV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
The only way that would be necessary is if the SIN NATURE REMAINS IN THE BODY UNTIL IT DIES.

Repent you are following a FALSE GOSPEL.

Yes, and yes.

9QUOTE]If that’s the case then what you are saying in effect when you placed your faith in Jesus as follows

Romans 10:9-13
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
I believe it wholeheartedly.
We "called on the name of the Lord" at my baptism into Christ's death, burial, and resurrection...to walk in newness of life.

Yes, I was a new creature who now walked in the Spirit instead of in the flesh.
I had a new God.

Not at all.
The church is the body of Christ, flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. (Eph 5:30)
There is no sin in Christ.
What church do you go to?
Whats it called?
Does it have a website?
i so can you post a link. I would be interested to have a look.

Hagin...not likely

No real support? What does that mean....The love of money is the root of all evil.....who needs to be paid to preach or teach?

I have been consistent my whole life with my belief and stance (other than changing a few beliefs I was raised in like imminent return to post trib/pre wrath) and a few other things

So you need heartfelt followers? I thought we were to point people to JESUS and teach to follow him?
Who am I to believe?

https://twitter.com/dcontroversal/status/782766332295077888

I wonder what type of example you lead. Paul lived a life which he said he was an
example to follow and be like as he was following Christ.

I wonder if you really know what this really is, because based on this testimony, you
have no clue.

It is easy to appear on cc and cause a stir, to stand for one position while actually living
another. But I do wonder what is the point?

Is it grandiosity, putting people in their place, manipulation and putting your finger up at
authority?

Your symbol for your twitter account says it all. Is this the example you want to be to
the world in Christ, as a good loving witness to the King of Kings?
