Hi Dcon...I must admit after reading the post from those who say they do not sin really did wear me down :(...
But today I know that if we were sinless like Jesus, why would God Himself be training us up, God gives us 24 hrs a day, He knows that in one day we will not be made like Jesus, He knows we have or have had unforgiveness in our hearts that only He can take away, it is a process, we are His workmanship, if we were all sinless, then we would need no guidance from the Holy Spirit

Sorry I have not used Scripture, but this is what I believe to be true...God is the potter, we are His clay, He is moulding us, He is changing us into His likeness, this sinless posting really unnerved me, I know we must not go back to our ways when we once walked in ignorance, we must not willfully sin, but we will all sin and fall short of His holy grace, thank God for His Son our Saviour, all the glory to God who keeps my mind straight through His promises...xox...

Hi Rosemary, don’t let the witness of those who claim to be without sin wear you down.. look to Christ always my dear.

If a man believes he He does not sin then what is to any to accuse him unless we witnessed him sin then we could say I saw you steal or lie to your neighbour.. because if we say he sins and he does not we bear false witness.

We we all need Grace and knowledge to grow and mature .. we believe the Lord who teaches us not to sin.. we set our heart there and may GOD increase guide and comfort us.. we are on the path of Righteousness looking firm at the Good Shepherd who is leading us... guided and comforted by the Holy Spirit.. the power of GOD to not steal or lie.. or whatever sin we need to overcome while we abide.. it is a journey home and by the Grace of GOD we will be perfected through our Faith in Christ.

Listen to neither the sheep with sin or the sheep without but listen to the Lord and His Instructions.

How about this:

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Either I misunderstand this verse, or it says that everyone has some sin, maybe not wilfull sins unto death but for example knowing to do good and not doing it is a SIN. Whatever that isnt out of faith is SIN too! No one is perfect in knowledge and judgment.

Hi loveme1...Thank you for your answer to my post :)...It really did shake me, but I took it to our dear sister in Christ Desertrose, and she fed me with Scriptures, and she through our Saviour lifted my spirit...

You are right, I must never accuse anyone of saying they do not sin, but the bible clearly states that we are a liar if we say otherwise, but still, that is not for me to call someone a liar, that is between God and them...Through the grace of God He is stretching me, sometimes it hurts lol, but to be honest, I have felt His Joy today, I never read the Word yesterday, that is not a good thing, although God did give me a lovely day of resting, watching films on YouTube about how the Jews were treated in the war from Germany, so sad, but today I was in the Word and God truly fed me, just finished reading 1 Peter, will start 2 Peter tomorrow...

I have a lovely Journal where I write things down that God is showing me, I read a Scripture, stop, then write in my own words, then I read it back to God, it helps me understand...Thank you once again for your reply :)...xox...

1 John 1King James Version (KJV)

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us
3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Verse 9...

If a man confessed his sin and forgiven and cleansed and believes he does not sin then accuse him not unless you can prove it because you are not the accuser.

If a man comes along and I have met them.. and say they have done nothing wrong and need not forgiving.. yes there are people that judge themselves perfect without sin rather than be found guilty and receive forgiveness and cleansing.. then hold verse 8.. in wait for those who refuse the guilty verdict.. then share 9 and give them hope...

Let us encourage provoking good works and loving each other..

I think loveme1 was trying to reassure our sister by the very fact that she said “Those who claim to be without sin”

And to me the thing is if someone says they do not sin we cannot accuse them of sinning unless we see it.

But as you say all we can do is remind them of the same thing that John says

”If we say we have no sin then we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us”

A willing heart indeed.

u know how the people who go soul-winning alot are usually criticized for "1-2-3 repeat after me" and producing fake converts? i think the works salvationist should have their own term too "1-2-3 repent after me" :D
btw im not saying repentance isnt necessary. im just saying i wonder how much of good news is preached.
None by those who teach a works based vanilla twist dogma, or those who push a sinless perfectionist café blend dogma and or those who push a rotten lasagna I can lose faith and salvation dogma....

do people who judge their own obedience and by it consider themselves worthy?

Luke 18:14 -- one man went home justified, and the other did not.
AMEN to this post and post 42369.........Jesus, be merciful unto me a sinner<---HE went home justified....not the guy who boasted he was above sin and not like those scum bag sinners over there......

Christ taught us to Keep the Commandments to not sin, to be Righteous and perfect... importantly to Love GOD with all our being and each other... to Love even our enemies.. that all requires Faith.

We all agree By Grace through Faith in Christ we are saved.

My Faith then leads me to obey Christ.. which is to hear, Believe and do what He instructs Having the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort and bring Truth to mind.

what is it that you teach?

exactly, because he knew I hated it and didn’t want it.
Truth is I wanted his love and wanted to be like him.

However If I didn’t know his love how could I be like him.

The sexual abuser I talked about.
He was part of the cause.
On his death bed I was with him.
When he died I sorted out his estate at my expense.

Because I was healed then I was able to be Jesus to him.
Amazing! God is so amazing!

I think what I believe and teach is well known...

a. Saved eternally, justified eternally, sanctified positionally eternally and sealed in Christ eternally by faith void of any human effort, religious work, merit, sacrament, church affiliation etc.

b. Saved UNTO good works NOT BY works

c. NOT kept saved BY any work

d. ANY WORK, fruit etc. is the result of CHRIST IN US BY FAITH as a living sacrifice.

e. SAVED believers have works of gold silver and precious stones as well as works of wood, hay and stubble

f. SALVATION is eternal and cannot be lost, believers who rebel are chastised and or taken home depending upon the severity of their rebellion.

yea those Guys Like Jesus, Paul, peter, John, james n them.......they had that who;le obedience to God because He gave his sons life for ours all wrong probably......since its all about websters definition of the word Grace lol and any form of actually repenting from sin ( the will of satan) and actually learning and obeying our GODS WORD <<<< thats just all works based salvation lol which really doesnt even exist no one can be saved without Jesus. even the Law forgiveness was based on Gods Mercy or they couldnt have ever been forgiven like they were once a year.

its funny those men under law somehow saw God as good even though He is instructing us to actually obey His word because its Life. that will never change regardless of the bizarre omissions and reasonings for why God didnt really say the things He said, and why Jesus preaching repentance and obedience is some form of the Mosaic Law even though its different by principle.

one day people should realize God said All of it and nowhere does He ever say " forget, or do not take seriously Jesus words, He is the One who taught obedience, repentance, he made the point " do not only call me Lord lord and think ur saved....actually do the will of God and enter the Kingdom."

its always bizarre How Jesus is the One who s[poke the gospel forth into the world, promised eternal Life, the Holy spirit....and then man makes a doctrine that disregards everything except what seems effortless and like it wont rewuire of the believer....its Hinsostly sad to me to see the distortions man made to christianity. alot of folks are going to be suprised when they face Jesus and are held accountable for all that unrepented sin.......

there is no real argument to obeying God its on every page of the Bible. Gotta obey the Lords word its been that way from the start, not obeying because someone told them it wasnt actually that serious...is what started the issue that put Jesus to death. shouldnt be found opposite what Jesus said, obedience may be a work to some to others its Just simply doing whats right and obeying the Creator. do right and live because of Jesus, refuse to heed his repeated teachings and warnings, and well its pretty clearly there what the future holds then.

sin should repulse Believers its the will of satan. believers should not be able to continue in sin but that happens when the truth is circumsized from a doctrine. obedience is Life it isnt works trying to save ones self its simply believing what God has made really really really clear because He Loves us , and Gave us the choice of salvation which no one had until Christ was revealed. Gods Word goes Hand in hand with the "finished works of the cross" idea it doesnt work without the Word, nor without the cross, gotta accept both

The lack of humility in those who incessantly talk of their obedience, love, works is telltale in and of itself.

No person walking this close with Christ would spend this much time pointing to themselves, and have such fleshly pride. They wouldn't have to, nor would they do it.

And you all argue with them day and night on here...lolzzz.
