I will sure be glad when the wife's broken ankle heals so I can get out of the house and away from this PC.
Bout to go stir crazy. We are not used to being inside so much.

I do read a lot, but at night or in the pre dawn. I am usually up at 4 am.
When the sun comes up, I want to be outside enjoying God's beautiful creation.

Stuck in the house you say?

Use some margarine, olive oil and some salad spoons.

My problem is my arms are too short. Too short to push me far enough away from the kitchen table.
 
we're both 'home-bodies', but prefer to be 'outside' as opposed to being
in the house, catching-relishing all of the beauty...

Same here. I spend enough time away from home as it is working. I'm always glad to walk through the door and greet my wife and pet my cats.

She just stepped out of the truck at Safeway and it snapped. Dr. said it happens to older people. I stopped her before she slapped him.:cool: She is healing well. Has advanced to a cane. Few more weeks and she will be ready for her Honda ATV again.

Oh my goodness... and OW on the ankle snap!!!! Doctor totally would have deserved that slap, by the way. Last month I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed, and I had just about every kind of complication you can imagine.. .was horrible. I had to see the "youngish" oral surgeon about every other day, I will be honest, I got sick of him... -especially- because he said, "Well, this happens to people your age.." I'm 44, by the way. I -swear-, if he said it one more time, I was going to very sweetly suggest that, "Well, you should probably stick to operating on people in their 20's then."

Wash up wifey's ATV for her!! That would be nice lol... well, maybe the day before she's off restrictions/gets cast off. :-)

72 years old but looks 40 and acts like 20. I have trouble keeping up.:cool:

I'd just call the fire department.

They're very good with kittens.

If you're stuck in the house, you should probably try to look like a kitten.
