1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,
fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

I share everything except for what happened in the Nut House and in prison. Oh, yeah.... I also keep quiet about those three years I was a gigolo.

Was in a Paris cafe that first I found him
He was a Frenchman, a hero of the war
But war was over
And here's how peace had crowned him
A few cheap medals to wear and nothing more
Now every night in the same cafe he shows up
And as he strolls by ladies hear him say
If you admire me, hire me
A gigolo who knew a better day

Just a gigolo, everywhere I go
People know the part I'm playing
Paid for every dance
Selling each romance
Every night some heart betraying
There will come a day
Youth will pass away
Then what will they say about me
When the end comes I know
They'll say just a gigolo
As life goes on without me

Just a gigolo, everywhere I go
People know the part I'm playing
Paid for every dance
Selling each romance
Every night some heart betraying
There will come a day
Youth will pass away
Then what will they say about me
When the end comes I know
They'll say just a gigolo
As life goes on without me

So I got into an argument on FB with a friend of mine and her husband. Seems you can't say anything these days without someone getting up in your face and just being nasty. And Im wondering why this is. They are both Christians and I was pointing out a fact about a movie that was inappropriate for kids. They said the movie was good and I thought perhaps they hadn't seen that part.So I told them it wasn't appropriate for kids, without coming right out and saying why. Well she and her husband both jumped me. So my sister chimed in and backed me up. Then my friends husband, who I dont know, called us prudes basically and judgmental. And he doesn't even know us! And all I was doing was pointing out why the movie was not for kids. My question is,what in the world is wrong with people?! I don't get it.
2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Therefore count it joy that you have suffered persecution.

The problem goes both ways, sometimes to explain reasons to things said you have to spell it out for them and make it easy to understand.. After that if they do understand but still continue, just leave it, no need to get into an argument/ debate. And if they choose not to hear what you are trying to say just leave it alone still... Sometimes proud people do hear what is said yet they are so prideful that they wont admit it right then, but later on they might reflect on it. We live in a time where approval/likes is everything, and any type of opinion/ disapproval is seen as an attack, especially on social media.

Some Christians like calling other Christians judgmental prudes so they can look better to the world. Helps them sleep at night to know they fit right in with unbelievers.

Heaven forbid the world think they are like those crazy, uptight Christians, going by the Bible and listening to God and such.

receiving an opinion that differs from one's own often leads to
anger, and immediate self-defense, even a spirit of attacking -
surely you've noticed that in these chat-rooms, correction
or heart-felt advice very often brings out the worst in many...

rejection of God's Words has always been, for most just like to do
things their own way instead of Jesus'...yes, even some who call
themselves 'christians'...

Kaylagrl, you are very much appreciated, with such a kind heart,
a real Blessing to many...

true Loving, Sharing, Understanding comes from the heart, but many
there be that just cannot receive - don't ever let these kind of attitudes
deter you from your great Mission...

The problem with people is that they are people.

Imperfect and flawed. In need of Gods unconditional love.

For the cause of Christ

As always thank you for your words of wisdom, both of you :) As I have always said,I believe we have a kindred spirit. And you all have been a blessing to me and others here for certain. I try to be Christlike.I fail at times, but I try to admit that to the Lord and leave it in His hands. Theres a song that says "Im somewhere between Jesus and John Wayne" I think that pretty much sums me up.lol

Kaylagrl:
What I like to remind others who are currently getting attacked.... is that it is their issue not yours... a husband supporting his wife and vice versa is certainly not unusual.... I believe I the golden rule ... it does not matter how I am treated I treat others as I would like to be treated... perhaps this "rift" truly has nothing to do with what you said.... their issue not yours
You continue to be who God created you to be.... always seek Him first and foremost... ask Him what going on
