May God bless you with His wisdom and understanding and keep you from the evil of this age, amen.
May God open your eyes to the sins you commited. And allow you to see what you have done. And realise how in doing so, you have given not only yourself, but your God a bad name.

Without true repentance, there is no hope. I can forgive your, I do not need you to repent to be forgiven, But you need to repent for your own sake.

There is always hope. And I pray you will see what you have done out of your spite for me and those like me, and assuming we preach things we have never taught, or even support.

Oh...I don't know! Probably NLT. It's what I recall verses from because its what I read until it fell apart!:)
Yet another reason I hate that version. Never seen a erosion of scripture with more mistakes in my life.

Yes, it is easier to read. But horrific. I would never let a new believer read that bible.

New Living Translation
Israel is no stronger than its capital, Samaria, and Samaria is no stronger than its king, Pekah son of Remaliah. Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm."

And the context is not salvation.....
It is not even a good translation

See the translation of the KJV and the NASB (two of the most respected) it does not even say anything close to what that said.

When an indiviual hardens his heart after learning the good ness of God, this is becoming uncircumcised....

I suppose the spirit is no longer there....... only by true repentence will He return.

This is a hard lesson but a good one to receive, it shows the generosity of the love of God in Jesus christ.
I pray you practice what you preach.

How can anyone pretend to refute the teaching from God , Himself?
Dude, How do you know if I was preaching what God said or not. You proved you did not even know what I said by the way you responded.

Your one of th most hard headed people I have ever met, it is always everyone else’s fault. Never your own.

We (you and I) can not have a conversation, because you never listen to a word I say.

You, and your little group, have taught me much, and I thank you for this. You have taught me mch, but not with mindless and soul-less rants, no, but with attitudes that attmpt to confuse and berate.

I thank you for your teaching because you have demonstrted God uses what ever pleases Him to bring light to those who seek.

May God bless you and your ittle group with true light and understanding. May you love as He loves. All blessings in yur way by Jesus Christ, amen.

My little group? That was a Thread by me on Pauls letter to Timothy about how we truly find power over sin and evil. And how we find true power to grow in christ. And learn to be like christ. How a person fulfills the law in their life and obeyed Gods commands,

Every one of your responses had me posting it is ok to sin, It is ok to break Gods commands, or that a person who disaobays God and does not obey his commands will get to heaven, WHICH I NEVER SAID OR INSINUATED ONCE

Yet here you go continuing with your nonsense of blaming me for YOUR slander.

Get over yourself dude. If you want to talk. Read what people say, then respond acccordingly.

Otherwise, Stop, because your in sin.

That's why you should not do anything TO EARN OR MAINTAIN YOUR SALVATION, lol.

Do things because you believe that God will judge wickedness but saves those who through faith and repentance are forgiven ahead of time of the Judgment.
If you think that you're 'doing' is EARNING you the righteousness that is when you are in the wrong.

It seems the whole church has to go back to salvation 101 and get straightened out about this. I blame the leadership for not teaching this to the church and for not leading people to, both, the grace of Christ in the forgiveness of sin, and the grace of Christ in a changed life. Too many in the church came to Christ to get their free lunch pass, that's all--because that's all they were told Christ is for. Then they think they can live in their old lives with impunity. And they slap God in the face by defending their right to do so. They will see what happens to the sanctified person who tramples on the blood of Christ in a contemptuous misuse and abuse of the blood.
I am not doing anything to earn salvation. I already have it, Your the one trying to earn your salvation by empowers yourself to believe.

me? I try to walk in the spirit, learn how to love as God loved, and in doing so. Walk in Gods word and by faith and grace walk in his commands..

You really must study the Word..

Your loss of salvation theory is based on a supposition? What a fickle God you serve. One that like an unstable wife leaves mad when you don't take out the garbage.

lol.. I disagree.. If I am weak in faiht in a certain area and end up committing sin because of it. it does not mean I deny him.

So I stand by what I said.

The Bible says without hesitation that Fear, worry and anxiety is lack of belief in HIM and his promises and is SIN.

Now the application of that truth might be different to different people.

One person's conviction and leading of the Holy Spirit could say that If a fear my family will starve then I am denying he will provide all my needs.

Another persons conviction and leading of the Holy Spirit could say that working out the fear my family will starve and learning to trust him in his promise he will meet all my physical needs is not me denying him but part of me growing spiritually in him.

So really both views are not wrong and just shows that there are convictions and leading of the Holy Spirit are different for everyone.

Personally I have never seen the righteous in my household or our seed begging for bread, Ever. And there have been some very lean times.

I made myself clearn IN YOU THREAD, so why have you followed me here. When I did I informed you and all that becaue you, rather one of your cohorts did acquiesce that I had reason I would then leave the thread, you and others of yoru little group have come here to bring it up again........

I believe if a person eave YOUR THREAD announced and in good standing, you should not come folling into another with lies about what has occurred in your thread........

I am sorry your are so insecure as to have this driving need, but, you really shold leave your thread in your thread.....

I was not teaching anything, I was calling you out for the sin you commited in my thread. (Slander is a sin, in fact, the commandments you love to preach. One says thou shalt not bear false witness, Yet you did that many times in that thread. Yet still refuse to repent. As usual, no repentance from you at all. Yet you call yourself a christian. You should be ashamed.

Why do you rant so? I have not threaatened anyone, nor have I falsely accused anyone.....

If you find the understanding of the teaching of Jesus Christ offensiveperhaps you should study more, pray more, and meditate more.

I do not understand.

So I lack faith God in God. In a certain area.

that means I no longer believe in God at all? (Have deny’d him)
No...it means you believe He exists, and then one of 3 things is going on, as I mentioned in a previous post.
God wants to work on our inconsistencies with us in the renewing of our minds.
But if He hasn't shown you something yet, He doesn't expect you to walk by light not yet given.
But to whoever is given more, more is expected.

This is why we pray for what we lack when He does show us our inconsistencies. :)

So now you "have salvation" and now the world owes you a living. Or is it God owes you a living. Faith comes and stimulates responsibility(ies). No man can say "I have faith," and not show it by bearing good fruit. Only an ingrrate could do such.

Here is how the verse in my translation fit in my mind.
If you will not stand firm, I cannot make you stand firm.
If you won't believe me about earthly things, how can I tell you about heavenly things?
He who is faithful with a little will be given more.

Is it a struggle to stand firm sometimes? The whole world calls us idiots if we do not jump on the hamster wheel and work harder and harder to collect more than enough for the day. And our own flesh rebels too and wants to follow the worlds wisdom.

See there you go again, Beqring false witness against someone because you refuse to listen to what they are saying.

Show me where I said the world owes me anything?

Show me where I said GOD owes me anything?

Of course you will not find either, Because I have never stated such a thing, I have never hinted of such things, and I have never wrote or believed such things.

So when will you open your eyes to what is really being said?

Faith produces works, If your trust someone, You do what they say, Because you KNOW they will not lead you astray.

If you do not trust them, You may obey a letter, but you will never be truly obedient. You will just be a religious person who is walking around praising God how good he or she is while judging people who are truly in the trenches working for God.

To believe in vain is to believe without cause or without effect, to no purpose.
To me, it means you did not have faith int he thing you CLAIMED you believed in, so in reality, there was no purpose in your belief. It was just words.
