I have been an advocate for and a supporter of Roy Moore for years, so this latest stuff is very hard for me to understand or accept. Having followed his career for many years, I simply can not believe all that is being said.

Now, if ALL I heard was what is being said on the National Media, then I would be ready to lynch him like all of the Liberal haters, but, I also hear what is being said here in Bama by less hateful folks.

Best to remember that for the last 12 years, the Liberal Socialists have been trying to destroy Roy Moore, and, under the Obama Administration twice removed him from the Office he held. His terrible crime was refusing to compromise his Christian Values and beliefs, which makes it even harder to understand the charges against him now.

Let me say that IF he is truly found guilty of the charges, then I agree that he is not worthy of holding the office of Senator for the State of Alabama. However, I also know this:

For a dozen years the Liberal Socialists have investigated Roy Moore from sunup to sundown, turned his past inside out trying to find ANYDARNTHING to crucify him for.........SO........I think it is just a bit odd than now these allegations arise. How is it possible they did NOT arise when he was Chief Justice in Alabama? Or during any of the other investigations the Liberals conducted? Just seems more than a bit odd to me.

I will wait until all the truth is known before I line up to crucify him.

I admire Roy Moore for his stance on Christian values and His standing on the faith. He fought for the ten commandments and he's demonstrated in the past he has the inept ability to be a great senator. I cannot judge or condemn any of these people stepping forward, but the timing of the allegations is VERY suspect. I agree, when he was Chief Justice, why didn't they come forward then? And on the same not, where do these women stand when it comes to political views? I don't hear that being mentioned much. It's very easy to believe a woman in tears, but you can also be deceived into believing a lie. Satan is very crafty, and can use many means to deceive those who don't watch closely. I believe that if Roy Moore had committed a crime or something of this stature, under conviction, he'd admit to it. But he has fervently denied the allegations, and him being a man of God, I don't think he'd lie and destroy his testimony. Think about Bill Clinton for a second, he molested and committed adultery with SEVERAL different women, even before taking office, yet he was still elected, and then these unsubstantiated claims against Roy Moore come out that are fishy at best, and everyone turns their back on him. I agree with Moore, it's not a political issue, it's a spiritual issue. They don't want a firm Christian man standing on the foundations of God, because that completely goes against their ideology and their beliefs. But I'm praying the Roy Moore gets the vote. God has intervened in elections before (2016) and He can do it again, and the Liberals can whine and cry till the cows come home. When it comes to God's plan, he doesn't change.

Mitch McConnell doesn't want Moore in the senate. Must be a good man if Mitch is afraid of him.

Regardless of his guilt or innocence, I'm afraid that if he remains in the race, the democrats will gain a seat in the senate. Roy Moore is an example of the type of candidate that loses elections for the GOP. At a time where the GOP needs more seats, and every democrat voter will come out of the wood works during the mid terms, the GOP needs to do some serious vetting before the primaries.

Last I heard, he had 5 women accusing him and today I heard that a police officer said he was, "someone to watch out for and report" when Moore was still just a district attorney. These are going to be diffcult to deny if he still says the left is fabricating it all. I saw one of his female accusers speak and she didn't sound like a looney liberal at all. She sounded like a normal, honest person. I for one believe her.

Would you fill the same if she or any women was accusing you?
I find it suspect that these women waited 20 plus years.
Wait for an grand jury to charge him and a jury convict him.
It is my understanding that a person is innocent until proven guilty.

There is a statute of limitations of these types of offenses. There will be no grand jury indictment or charges brought forth. A person is innocent until proven guilty only under the justice system. Personally, I believe that his reputation, whether fairly or unfairly, is tarnished beyond repair and he should withdraw from the Senate race.

So when one party want to win an election they are loosing, just bring charges of sexual assault and tarnish the opponent so he has to withdraw.
Is the new American way?
The Dems/liberals will win all elections in the future.

True. And about the only "good" thing is that by doing this, within a decade or two, there will be no more elections to concern ourselves with because there will be no more America.

You are more optimistic than I am, time wise.
But I can see this becoming a trend.

Stumbled on this link from a blog I like. Looks like the fix is in. It’s a very ugly business if true.

The article is called; ‘Who planted the Roy Moore story on Washington Post reporters?’

Trump's endorsement of Strange seems pretty shrewd to me right now.

Congress is going to be a very lonely place if they dismiss all the sexual abusers in the place. I'm all for cleaning the place out and starting fresh.

Being accused is not the same as being convicted. Is it even possible to convict anyone for that crime?

If they look into this and find that these women truly did know him back then and that the officer at the mall did in fact warn people about him, then that is enough evidence for me. The entire judicial system in this country is based on reasonable doubt.

There's only one problem with this. We are talking about Alabama. And they have decided in that state that there is not a thing wrong with hitting on a girl of 16. The officer's personal bias on age and the other girls having known him is not the least bit showing anything wrong. You and I may not like it, but it was not illegal.

Nor would be hitting on a 14 year-old girl who we all know was probably tickled pink to pretend she was 16. No 14 year-old I ever knew (male or female) would admit to their age if someone thought they were 16. In fact, most would lie about their age if they thought they could get away with it. And you know that is a stone fact.

If it was just one woman accusing Moore, I would give him the benefit of the doubt but there are now 6. What if it wasn't Moore? What if it was an outspoken, conservative-hating, trump-hating democrat? Would you still think he was innocent?
