Before jumping headlong into a confrontation, know this, Paul teaches if a person reveres one day over another in the sight of God with good conscience, there is NO SIN. If another reveres a different day in the same circumstances, there is NO SIN.

Now pleae allow one to voice his understaqnding and lack of understanding.

I understand the Sabbath of the Lord, God, is the Seventh Day because I believe Him.

I do not understand how man can change that day, being the order of creation, to any other day becaue I belive God.

How can anyone fault this belief? Especially in view of the truth that I do not fault other because of the opening teaching from Paul?

Do not say aloud neither to yourself that I am wrong or I am attempting to tell others to be under the law because you will be either !. Lying to yourself, or 2. Lying to all.

Clarification, if needed.

I believe god ordered the days, so I believe His rest is the day He named and gve to me personally as a gift.

I revere the Seventh day over any other day of the week because of this truth.

If others truly believe another days has replaced this day in the sight of God there is no sin, but please do not level
fingers at me for prefering God's actual words and teaching o this blessed and wondrous day.

He knows the end from the neginning and is the same today, yesterday and forever!

John 17:17, “Set them apart in Your truth – Your Word is truth.”

Psalm 119:142, “Your righteousness is righteousness forever, And Your Torah is truth.”

1 Yahanan /John 2:3-7, “And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Yah has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.”
TRUTH is a very important part of worshipping God which some people seem to forget as they fixate on Love only.

And how can there be love without truth? Good point.

Hi JamesJ,

Happy Sabbath to you brother. Let me know if I have misinterpreted what you have said?

You talk about Romans 14 as if it is referring to the 4th commandment when it does not mention it and if others want to worship God on another day it is ok and if they break God's 4th commandment it is not SIN?

Do you have any scripture that makes you think that Romans 14 is talking about God's 4th commandment? I do have some scriptures showing this is in reference to the annual festivals that were fulfilled in Christ if your interested?

Ok let's continue................

If someone commits SIN they are BREAKING GOD'S LAW (10 commandments) correct (James 2:11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Romans 3:20)?

Now, if one knowingly murders another when God has asked them not to, and continues to murder people and are unrepentant for their actions of rebellion against God are they in a saved state before God or an unsaved state? (Hebrews 10:26-27; Hebrews 6:4-8; Romans 6:23)

Is the 4th commandment one of the ten? (Exodus 20:8-11)

So let's put it all together..........................

The 4th commandment (Remembering and keeping the 7th Day Sabbath as a Holy day) is one of the 10 commandments. If we knowingly break it just like any of the other ten then we stand GUILTY BEFORE God of committing SIN (James 2:8-11).

If we continue in UNREPENTANT SIN not seeking GOD'S FORGIVENESS bringing forth the FRUIT of REPENTANCE then we are still in OUR SINS because we have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son.

If we are still in our SINS we are not in a SAVED STATE before God and will NOT ENTER the Kingdom of Heaven. So yest the FOCUS here is about SIN keeping you OUT of God's Kingdom because if our FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE then we do not have the FAITH that works by LOVE that ENTERS GOD'S Kingdom by the operation of God.

Hope this is helpful in your study of God's Word.

I believe someone thought to change the order of the days, and many are terribly confused. Yes, my reference is to what Paul tachers on observance of days and the like.

I believe when a person is not awae something is sinful, it is not a sin, yet it seems all whould know the Ten, yet theyre seem to be many who either do not, or they have been confused by the one who is attempting to change the order of the days.

I do know our Father ordered all, and I believe Him before i BELIEVE people. forgive the caps. I beong to Jesus Christ, Yeshua, and to no other, amen. Praise Yah, and you have the most blessed of Shabbatot.

7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

So if a person knows not then it is not willfully sinning.. then if they learn and reject that is willfully.. so many are unaware of Sabbath.. many believe Sunday is GOD’s rest day... someone thought to change it and many are unaware..

do you know the Mondays child rhyme?

Saturdays child works hard for a living.. but the child born on Sabbath is the bonnie, blith and gay etc.. obviously gay is the old meaning..

many believed sunday is the Sabbath.. and surprise surprise the Saturday child seems less favoured.. any how there are different versions and it is just a reference of the deception being deep rooted.. English prefering pagan moon day.. Saturn day.. sun day.. thur day.. etc.. anyhow most of us are no longer under delusion but simply abide patiently in a world in rebellion.. where life is about self worship which is really devil worship and others who know full well they worship evil.. preferring the darkness ..

It is written when people have broken laws in ignorance there is no guilt, however once made truly aware of the sin, and they live in it stin they then are guilty..

The word Sabbath means "rest" with no other meaning added. It is not a time sensitive word. Sabbath does not mean Saturday, Sunday or Monday or the word week .Adding a time sensitive word takes away from the intended meaning.

When looking at the fourth commandment in both cases (Exodus and Deuteronomy )he uses different parables to speak of the unseen two are given for reasons . God does no use parables to express moral laws.
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

It is typified as the last day but His rest is not limited to one day

Deu 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

He uses the parable of removing his people from the kingdom of this world typified by Egypt and the Pharaoh as the father of lies the god of this world bringing them into the promised land to typify the new heavens and earth when we do receive the substance of the shadows the eternal rest .

The eternal rest that we are receiving when we do hear his word and harden not our hearts is in respect to Christ finished work . It is called today .Not Saturday or Sunday or the word week, Today as in now.

Trying to develop a ceremonial law into a moral law that is required we must seek after as evidence we have the Holy Spirit is not a biblical principle. It does show that some do not mix faith in what they hear or see.

Note... (purple in parenthesis) my comments.

Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day,
(not Saturday or Sunday ) after so long a time; as it is said, To day (don’t wait for Saturday or Sunday) if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. To the first data above, in my studies I have found it to be said it comes from Sheva in Hebrew, or seven. It may have come to mean rest, but it does make some sense it mease seven.

Believe it or not, I may be misinformed, but in reading the Hebrew I understand it originally did come from the word, Seven.

Looking onine I see the majority , all actually, have exactly what you have poste on the meaning os Sabbath. Now I have learned it as derived fromthe word, seven, but because of the law having changed to stop, res. kGod bless you, and thank you..j

The Lord gives us the Spirit... the Sabbath was a sign of sanctification.. many will say between GOD and the children of Israel.. now you I’m sure have work and duties to tend each week.. as you have not put on the immortal yet.. so while you abide waiting to receive the right to the Tree of life.. you can choose to believe the Lord of Sabbath who teaches the least Commandments is to be Kept and taught and that we are to Love GOD First and each other.. we here believe that Loving GOD is to work six and rest the Sabbath knowing it is lawful to do good and it was made for us... the burden is a delight through the Lord’s Grace and Truth.. now each Child of GOD will have their way of Resting.. because it is that you remember to keep it seperate.. the Spirit dwells within..

I agree - GOD's Love is found in humility and total submission to Him. By choosing one's own day we are not showing this at all - whether consciously or ignorantly . True, God makes allowance for Ignorance, but not for making a 'knowing concious decision that seems right to man...so let us not make excuses for those who do so.

GOD's Word is Truth ! anything else is sin whether or not we know it. God corrects the humble ignorant but a stubborn rebel who can turn ?

Hi JaumeJ,

Absolutely, God only holds us accountable for what we know not what we do not know. That is why I mentioned earlier KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN. (PS caps not shouting only highlighting). Our duty of LOVE to God and our neighbor is to share God's Word so that those that do not know may know.

Some scriptures that are important..........

Acts 17
30, And the TIMES OF IGNORANCE GOD WINKS AT; BUT NOW <When a KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH comes> COMMANDS ALL MEN EVERYWHERE TO REPENT:
31, Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

and again...............

James 4

17, THEREFORE TO HIM THE KNOWS TO DO GOOD AND DOES IT NOT TO HIM IT IS SIN.

We are God's people if we are living up to all the light (truth) God has revealed to us and if God has given each of us a KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH we are accountable to God not only for the truth God has revealed to us but also what it is we do with the truth God has given to us.

When a KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH is shared with someone however and they do not BELIEVE it or ACCEPT it they are NO Longer a BELIEVER because they hare not BELIEVED the Word of God therefore are still in their SINS because they have NOT accepted the GIFT of God's dear son and these scriptures are now a WARNING........

Hebrews 10:26-27
26, For IF WE SIN WILLFULLY AFTER THAT WE RECEIVE A KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, THERE REMAINS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS,
27, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

You are correct many do not know that the Roman Catholic Church has changed God's 4th commandment from the 7th day of the week to Sunday the 1st day of the Week.

Those that God has revealed his truth have a duty of LOVE to our neighbor to help them come out of darkness to worship our God in Spirit and in truth. For God is a Spirit and those that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth.

If God gives us a knowledge of His truth he commands us to follow him who loves all and preach the Gospel (the Word) and knowledge of the truth that God has given us to all people because SIN will keep everyone who is knowingly practicing it out of God's Kingdom.

We are to follow him who loves all..........

Matthew 4
17,
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. His command to us.............

Mark 16:15

“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.'”

Matthew 24:14
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Psalms 96:3
“Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”

Revelation 14:6-7

“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.'”

Matthew 28:19-20

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Our duty of LOVE to God and MAN.................

Ezekiel 3
17,
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, AND GIVE WARNING FROM ME.
18,
WHEN I SAY TO THE WICKED (SINNERS) YOU SHALT SURELY DIE; and YOU GIVE HIM NO WARNING, OR SPEAK TO WARN TO WARN THE WICKED FROM HIS WICKED WAY, TO SAVE HIS LIFE; THE SAME WICKED MAN SHALL DIE IN HIS SIN; BUT HIS BLOOD I WILL REQUIRE AT YOUR HAND
19,
Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20,
Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21,
Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, BECAUSE HE IS WARNED; also thou hast delivered thy soul. Our duty of Love to our fellow man is to share God's Word in the POWER of HIS Spirit who God gives to those who OBEY Him (Acts 5:32) to prepare a people where our God can look down from Heaven in LOVE before His return and proclaim..........

Revelations 14:12
12,
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, and the faith of Jesus. We are held accountable to the light (truth) that God has given us and by His Grace in LOVE through the POWER of His Spirit working through us and need to let our light shine to those that are in darkness. Many are called but few are chosen and will come to the light because men love darkness rather then light because their deeds were evil. God's sheep however will hear his voice because they know the true Shepard (the Word)and when He calls they will follow.

Happy Sabbath to all and may God bless you in LOVE and PEACE....
