Well I heard that too, which is why I quit looking. 12 years later, and I'm still single. So...in my case, no, it isn't true. :P But for others it may work.
 
I am single and not mad at the fact but just get lonly at times. like when your watching a sunset an get an aww moment of clarity on things. an you have probly the most brilant answers to the things you have been asking God about about and you have no one to share it with and then you get mezmerrized by the beautiful sunset and forget most of what you were thinking, cause God is so awsome at making beautiful things happen. but anyway no i am not mad i am single. if i do find someone or not it will be a God thing and not for some cheap thing. to me itss all or nothing. Anyways being single right now has got me closer to God and i got a lot of Bible studies and Gods work that if i wasn't single i'd only be able to maybe to half of that. ether way. i am just Happy to be with the Lord almighty as i am being taught how to be.

Haha...yeah, I've tried that too! I used to be a "hunter" and was having no luck, which was why I decided to stop looking. But now that hasn't worked either, and I've recently tried to start the hunting thing again and so far no luck. Which is why I think God just wants me to stay single. :P

nah dude don't think that way! if you think that god wants you to be alone then you'll be alone for life! but if you think that god has a special someone for you then you'll get that special someone :) just keep pray! oh ya! pray before you hunt :D

Maybe you're just looking in the wrong places. Which reminds me, I've always wanted to know where the majority of married people met each other. Maybe google knows..

Well by that logic, if I want a million dollars, all I have to do is believe that I'll get it. :P
 
I'm not upset about being single, though I'm not thrilled about the events that led to my being single. But, this I know...I've been walking with Him for 20+ years and have never lost anything that God didn't replace with something amazingly better, and I've never walked through a valley and failed to find something fantastic on the other side. That's just how great my God is. :)

He is the joy of my heart and I know He desires to give good gifts to His children, so I just plan to hang on tightly to Him and enjoy the serendipities He puts in my life along the way. It's been quite a rush so far! :)
 
im single neva dated and well im pretty happy but im always getting asked why but i say well i just dont like that person but i know if i said its not gods will all the time theyd think i was a freak even they know im a christian tho but sometimes i feel like im missing out but then i think gods got some1 for me already :P
