I am going to be in east TN visiting my momma. On Friday we will probably stay home all day and eat turkey leftover sandwiches.

On Black Friday I usually end up, eventually, at church.

I have to repent for beating up some little old lady for getting her hands on the WRONG TOASTER!

Also visiting family, and I will be bringing a book and some games and no we're not going out for sales that start at 4 AM or 12 AM or 4 PM the day before, not worth it (and most of us are so cheap and backward that the stuff we want won't be on sale anyway)

Just a little satire; I don't really beat up old ladies on Black Friday.

If you're careful, a little judo will hardly hurt them at all.

Being in Canada it isn't really a thing. Oh some of the stores try to pretend like we have it but the ads are like "Black Friday blow out. Get your xylophones 10% off! Buy 6 turnip twaddlers and get the 7th for %30 off. Hurry in as stock is limited."

Well with Maxwel obviously out there on the prowl...

I'm thinking I'm going to be spending my Black Friday defending little old ladies. ("Oh yeah? TOAST THIS, Sonny Boy!!!")

After all, SOMEONE is going to have to protect them from the one-eyed home appliance ninja...

I'm heading for Canada as we speak if turnip twaddlers are nearly out of stock.

Then, what days do you choose to beat them up?

Protect them?

Let me ask you a question; have you ever seen an appliance ninja?
No?
Exactly.

I was actually going to use another term (think Seinfeld, except, "NO APPLIANCE FOR YOU!"), but thought that might be offend somoene, so...

And besides.

Everyone knows that appliance ninjas are always hiding behind the refrigerators.

They're always stealing someone's sammiches. :(

I'm laying in supplies on Tuesday to hold us over and I ain't leaving the house until the Monday after Thanksgiving. No way on Earth am I going to deal with throngs of Walmartians clumping and bumping around to buy cheap junk for their holiday shopping.

I don't know what a turnip twaddler is, but I probably ought to have one. Pick me up one while your there and I'll pay you the money when you get back.

Shopping online, no matter where I am. I’m poor and need to save money if I hope to get my family Christmas presents. Already have it mapped out, just waiting for the time.
