Ya know, a very laughable thing is that with every word that Paul wrote about "Scripture", he was speaking of the Old Testament.
1 Tim 5
18For the Scripture says, “YOU SHALL NOT MUZZLE THE OX WHILE HE IS THRESHING,” and “The laborer is worthy of his wages.

Luke 10:17

New American Standard Bible
"Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they give you; for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not keep moving from house to house.

Paul quoted Luke and called it scripture.

i wont answer until u answer my question.

why does peter include paul's writings as scriptures??? how do u pick and choose? u throw away timothy as u do because its written to just timothy. (short lived letter) u have to throw out philemon too, worthless book.

but then u gotta deal with 1 corinthians 14:34-37 which is written to an entire church. or do we throw that away too since that church doesnt exist anymore?
lets just take paul out the bible. all those churches are long gone. lets take away the gospels they werent for u, only for the disciples of Jesus at that time.

with the way u read it nothing matters. no wonder u are mixed up in so much false doctrine. what kind of new age nonsense is this
You can shut your nasty mouth about "New Age" stuff. That kind of vile accusation is unnecessary.

If Paul says "God commands such and such", then I take that as a command from God. If he says, "This is how I do things", then I take that just as he presented it, as his way of doing something.

i have shown u many times paul does say God commands such and such.

u refuse to see it because u so like ur false teachers with ur itching ears.

1Co 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
1Co 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

so are u ignorant? or wilfully ignorant?

as for u telling me to shut my mouth. hahahaha. u are barking behind a screen son. at over 70 and still a son

How certain are you that Luke was not expressing OT Scripture?

100%. Look at the surrounding context's of both passages.
Please turn to the 5th book of the Bible, (that's in the OT), and see what is written in the 4th verse of Chapter 25.

Please Show us where it says," For the laborer is worthy of His wages." In Deut 25:4.

willie trying hard to discredit the bible but failing hard:

how does that feel. 1 corinthians 14:37 still unaddressed and will continue to be so.
the brother Mercy4u brought a good point also

The denseness of not seeing the total association of the first doesn't even warrant discussing.

And the last one is actually a quote from Jesus' own mouth, so of course that would be considered Scripture.

She does so much for the lost world...Building schools, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, building wells for fresh water in parts of the world where many young children have to travel sometimes 6 hours just to get a bucket load of rotten water...She has many buildings where women and children are being rescued from sex trafficking, has school buses running, and her ministry preaches Jesus to the remote parts of the world...

She always gives the credit to God, and Jesus is her saviour, and she shares the gospel with a bible in front of her and Scripture is always on the screen...God looks at our heart, not the outward appearance, I was certainly blessed by God when He healed me from deep pain that only a women could understand from sexual abuse, and it was her that God drew me to, I never went looking for her, God put her on my path...xox...

It isn't about seeing the association. That is pretty obvious.
It is a direct quote from scripture. And Paul used what Luke recorded.

Yes and Luke recorded Jesus Christ as saying," And the laborer is worthy of His wages."

Paul used the quote from Luke and called it scripture.

If you said "God loves us like crazy!" Should I credit you with creating Scripture, or simply for repeating the essence of God's Scripture?

Luke wrote, in the scriptures," The laborer is worthy of his wages."

when i say sent i mean sent in the way the Father sent His Son, if you want to use those passages to teach that Paul was sent in the exact same way Jesus was thats your own opinion but its not what i believe and i dont think Paul would ever teach such things.
millions of preachers have been called to teach.

Jesus is above all, ONLY He came from God, yet everyone in the bible, is sent by or ordained by God. God the Father sent His Son Jesus, Jesus His Son sent the apostles. paul cant save anyone, he cant give or take salvation. paul is a servant of the One who is the lord as all of the disciples are. He is as important as anyone else in the bible apart from Jesus Christ who has no contemporary, no peer. he is now and will ever be highly exalted above all. paul is a man who was changed by meeting the Lord Jesus and who went to speak the truth to the world as the apostles

yes, thats been kinda my point all along. i like what Paul teaches, its all truth, it all can be used for teaching, why not leave it at that, why go all extreme and start saying Paul is equal to Jesus, it just makes no sense to me.

Joyce appeals to the unsuspecting..I received her to be proclaiming....I don’t want to wait I want riches now.. all about the treasure on earth.. Test all against GOD’s Truth.. if you have yet to read from Genesis to Revelation page upon page abstain from tv preaching.. these folks will appear godly but they are subtle and leading you away with error.. they plug in to you and you will relate to them etc... There was a time before being born again that I knew not and had no discernment.. they were on tv so they must know their stuff I assumed..
I would say this is pretty good advice. If you have not read much Scripture, you can easily be led astray if you don't test the preaching to the bible and the knowledge of other believers who know the bible well and walk close to the Lord. Usually when I watch Christian tv, I am listening to a program that is all singing and rarely preaching. If there is, it is not much. I typically like reading people's stories such as testimonies and memoirs and less instruction and teaching books. Though, I have read much of the book by Charles Swindoll called Grace Awakening.

Or from someone who can see a "letter" when it's a personal comment, from the words of Spirit.
It's all there by purpose of God and the Holy Spirit uses it to teach and edify believers. Not one jot or tittle will pass from Gods word.
