Good observation, that I have not read the arguments, and will not be drawn into arguments. Your observation surprised me. I have been draw into many arguments before, only to realise after much trouble, just as Jesus said, "I can do nothing of Myself except what I see the Father doing." "If a man choses to honor a day above another before God he should be fully convinced, and if a man honors every day alike he should be fully convinced also." Being fully convinced obviously does not mean to force this on others. "Only by pride comes contention."

So some of you understands what it's like to believe God every day alike: getting up in the morning its still today, like time doesn't move forward. One day: today is all we have, like arriving at the end of the world and there is no tomorrow, until the resurrection, just Grace as God's influence to go on, and assurance that we could attain the Resurrection continuing in the fellowship of the sufferings of Christ, yet only begun the journey past ourselves, hardly identified with Him in His death. In the world but no longer part of the world: Enter in as a little child and put away your divided spirit. "This kind does not come out but by prayer and fasting." Prepare your heart for an inner journey. "Strive to enter in at the straight gate, for I say to you that many shall seek to enter in and shall not be able.

Those who don't walk in Love, such as the religious leaders who opposed our Sabbath rest (Jesus) thinking they were enforcing it, to protect their view of pride of achievement, bear their own judgment. It is sad that they are trapped and that "This sin shall not be removed until you die." Identified in the death of Jesus, following in His suffering, not what we expected as the day of the Lord. "In dying we Live." "This is the rest where You will call the weary to rest, but they would not listen."
What does it mean to walk in LOVE to you? Where does it say in Scripture that Jesus is a Sabbath? It is very clear from God's Word that Jesus is NOT the Sabbath because the Sabbath is only ever referred to as a DAY (Exodus 20:8-11; Genesis 2:1-3; Matthew 12:8). Are you getting mixed up with Jesus being the Lord of the Sabbath day and the Sabbath is the "Lord's Day"?

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is NOT ONE scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place or is there any scripture that says that Jesus is a Sabbath.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

Hello stillness,

Welcome here. Your post only demonstrates you have not even bothered to read the OP. If you have NOT read the OP how can you make any comments in this thread? If you have read the OP why do you make no attempt to address all the scripture that disagrees with your interpretation of God's Word?

In Times of ignorance God winks at but when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth is come calls all men EVERYWHERE to REPENT for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand.

Hello stillness, it is NOT about having an argument. It is about sharing God's Word in LOVE. It is true however that some like to argue with God's Word.

You quote Romans 14 in your post above, but did you know Romans 14 is referring to judging other, fasting and the annual Jewish festival Holy days?

It has nothing to do with worshiping God according to the 4th commandment or Sunday worship. What made you think Romans 14 was referring to God's 4th commandment when God's 4th commandment is not even mentioned in the entire book of Romans?

Wish you all the Best in Christ...

No one here is saying we should not BELIEVE God EVERYDAY or worship God EVERYDAY. What we are talking about here is that SIN will keep all that KNOWINGLY practice it OUT of God's Kingdom and that God has commanded a specific day to worship Him which is one of the 10 commandments written and spoken by God himself.

God commanded us to worship HIM on the 7th day of the week as a memorial of the FINISHED WORK of the creation week. The 7th Day Sabbath is a SIGN that we as His people worship and follow the only true God of Creation and HE is SAVING us (Exodus 20:8-11; Ezekiel 20:12; 20).

According to the 4th commandment, God made the 7th day a Holy day and we are to rest as He rested from the work of creation and we are commanded to do NO work in thought or action on this Holy day that we dedicate exclusively to God (Exodus 20:8-11). The Sabbath is "The Lord's Day" and it was made for mankind and Jesus is the creator of it and has commanded us to keep it as a holy day and if we are His people we are to BELIEVE and FOLLOW HIM through FAITH that works by LOVE. (Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:27-28; john 1:1-14; Exodus 20:8-11; Romans 13:8-10)

Those who are not under the Lay but under Grace, have died with Christ, "Its no longer I that lives," "A dead man is free from sin." The reason today is all we have: the remainder of our life is to enter the Sabbath rest: to arrive "In Christ" "to enter His rest" and escape from the Law. There is no more that a dead man can do. Grace is God's influence, for us to grow in His Love. Think of it this way, your preaching to a dead man, can you expect him to hear you. Consider why Jesus extended His Grace, we were dead in sin. "Foolish Galatians who has bewitched you," yes I suppose dead men can be put back under the law.

Hello stillness,

I noticed that you did not answer any of the questions I asked you in relation to your earlier posts and claims. Is there a reason not to answer my questions?

To be free from SIN means not to practice it. If you are practicing SIN then you are still IN your SINS and UNDER THE LAW because to be UNDER THE LAW means to be convicted by the LAW because of SIN. If you are living in KNOWN SIN you are no longer UNDER GRACE but UNDER THE LAW because SIN is the transgression of God's LAW.

Those living a life practicing KNOWN SIN are NOT in a saved state before God and unless they SEEK the LORD in repentance and confession of their SINS BELIEVING on the promises of God's dear SON will NOT enter into God's Kingdom (Hebrews 10:26-27).

ONLY BELIEVERS ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH .............

Romans 3
9, What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: FOR WE HAVE BEFORE PROVED BOTH JEW AND GENTILES, THAT THEY ARE ALL UNDER SIN.

Romans 3
23, FALL ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD;

Romans 3
19, NOW WE KNOW THAT WHAT THINGS SO EVER THE LAW SAYS, IT SAYS TO THEM UNDER THE LAW; THAT EVERY MOUTH MAY BE STOPPED AND ALL THE WORLD BECOME GUILTY BEFORE GOD.

Romans 2
6, He will repay each one according to his works:
7, To them who by patient continuance in WELL DOING seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life:
8, But unto them that are contentious, and DO NOT OBEY THE TRUTH, but OBEY UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, INDIGNATION AND WRATH,
9, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10, But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11, For there is no respect of persons with God.
12, For AS MANY AS HAVE SINNED WITHOUT THE LAW SHALL ALSO PERISH WITHOUT THE LAW: and AS MANY AS HAVE SINNED UNDER THE LAW shall be judged by the law;
13, For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Romans 8
1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2,
FOR THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST HAS MADE ME FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH .
3, For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, CONDEMNED SIN IN THE FLESH: <Why?>
4, THAT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW MIGHT BE FULFILLED IN US WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.

Romans 6
12, Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13, Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14, For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law <SIN AND DEATH>, but under grace.
15, What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16, Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17, But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart <NEW heart> that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

You are under the LAW OF SIN AND DEATH IF YOU ARE LIVING A LIFE OF KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN!

If you have accepted God's gift of Grace by FAITH you are FREE from the LAW OF SIN AND DEATH meaning you are NOW FREE NOT TO SIN because you have been forgiven and now have the POWER to walk in NEWNESS of LIFE........

Those living in known UNREPENTANT SIN do NOT KNOW Him who LOVES all and need to SEEK Him in REPENTANCE and CONFESSION of SIN because they do not KNOW God and are NOT FREE from SIN.

1 John 3
3, And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4, Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5, And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6, Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8, He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9, Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

The reason today is all we have: the remainder of our life is to enter the Sabbath rest: to arrive "In Christ" "to enter His rest" and escape from the Law.
The Sabbath rest is every 7th day according to God's 4th commandment (Exodus 20:8-11) if you knowingly break it you stand guilty before God of committing sin.

NO ONE is telling ANYONE that we or anyone else are saved by the WORKS of the LAW. All are saved by GRACE through FAITH it is a GIFT of GOD and not of WORKS lest any man should boast.

What we are talking about is SIN and how SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's Kingdom. If you profess to have saving FAITH but your faith does NOT have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's Word then your faith is DEAD and you are still in your SINS and do not KNOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE all as he first LOVED us. LOVE is the fulfilling of the LAW in those who walk by FAITH in God's Spirit. (James 2:18; 20; 26; Romans 13:8-10; 1 John 3:3-10; James 2:8-12; Matthew 7:13-20)

There are only two classes of people spoken about in God's Word. These are those that follow God by Faith through LOVE and those that do not. Those that do NOT BELIEVE have rejected His Word. Those that have NOT Heard the WORD are ignorant and God winks at. Those that have heard the Word however and have rejected God's Word are UNBELIEVERS and unless they repent and confess their SINS they WILL NOT Enter into God's Kingdom (Hebrews 10:26-27)

I no longer seek to please men, neither have any motivation to do so. Any judgment you have, you bear them. Mercy rejoices against judgment, you were meant to be defeated, just like I was.

"All of you trying to fulfil the law are fallen from grace," To chose to honor God a day above another and be convinced, will not put you under the Law, but to enforce it on others will. The evidence being that your life will nor reflect Grace: God's influence. you will reflect the dictate of the Law, and become a dictator, putting yourself under the judgment you impose on others. Don't forget your a sinner saved by grace. There is no benefit in proving ourselves righteous before God. It's to late for that, that was to bring us to Christ.

Friend I do not judge you. It is the Word of God that will judge is all in the last days. (John 12:47-48). We BELIEVE God's Word or we do not. Only God's Word is true. (Romans 3:4). We are all free to do as we wish but we will all be answerable to God for the deeds we do come Judgement day.

And so NOW being 'in Christ' do we no longer uphold the law or WILL of God/the 10 Commandments ?
Since when does Yashua/Jesus not keep His Father's Commandments ? since when is Jesus 'lawless?

You really need to be more 'precise when talking of the law....which do you mean...the sacred 10 Commandments 'loving God and neighbour - OR the commandments /works/rituals/sacrifices contained in ordinances which were abolished on the cross Eph 2v15; Col2v14 ? it makes a difference 'which laws you mean.

If your thinking you can have me stand in fear to be judged think again your placing yourself in danger to be judged, by imposing your view on others. I am well aware that I can't open your eyes, neither could I impose my view on you if I tried. I am quite aware of pride of accomplishment. Leading us to think otters should perform as well as we are. This is what I meant by your meant to fall just as I was. When I was a young Christian I took pride in hearing the Lord, then He told me: Your gona fall that you may learn to continually repent. God hates the teaching of dictators The meaning of Nicolaitans Revelation 2:6.
He also told me to stop arguing with you. bye

I am sick of telling you but the ten words are part of the covenant with Israel. They are not mentioned as such in the New Testament. Neither James nor Hebrews mentions the ten commandments. You assume. Jesus made crystal clear that He did not consider the 4th command important enough to mention to the rich young ruler (Matt 19.16-19).

LOL you wouldd have mentioned it FIRST.

But then Jesus was not Hebrew roots,
He didn’t mention the first and greatest commandment to the rich man either. Truly there isn’t one person on the planet who doesn’t know in their heart what Commandments Jesus is speaking too. I don’t believe anyone who has read the Bible doesn’t know what the 10 Commandments are.

Jesus did teach about His Fathers Commandments and He did teach that the Sabbath was made for man. Are you not a man?

Hello valiant,

You must have missed these scriptures as you were reading your bible.........

What did Jesus and the Apostles teach about the Sabbath in the New Testament?

1. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)
2. Jesus made the Sabbath for all mankind (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)
3. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28)
4. If you do not believe and follow God you cannot enter His Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4)
5. It is one of God’s 10 commandments we break it we are guilty or breaking all (James 2:8-12)
6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
7. God’s true followers keep it Holy as God commanded (Rev 14:12; Rev 22:14; Eze 20:20)
8. Jesus is our example and he kept the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; 1 Cor 11:1; Eph 5:1-21; Pet 2:20-22)
9. The Apostle kept the Sabbath (Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

Seems like Jesus, and the disciples all kept the Sabbath and Jesus is our example. All the Apostles kept the Sabbath according to the 4th commandment after the death of Jesus according to the commandment. There is also NO scripture in the entire bible that now tells us God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday.

there is not Scripture in the N.T. that says " believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and keep the Sabbath ( gentiles were never under the law anyway ). that is what you and others are saying. not the Word.
