Yeah the child will definitely take all extra money after it is born. They should both accept that and go to the courthouse as soon as possible. I'm just rebelling against the father's threats, but the reality is there will be no money for the wedding after the child is born, and if there is its taking money out of it's mouth.

Jesus made a lot of people mad, enough so that a many of them wanted Jesus crucified. maybe he didn't present with the demeanor that we would think with our modern understanding of how good and nice people should be.
 
Many people making many assumptions about her exact situation. Not one of these people are speaking off an ounce of fact, just pulling things out of thin air and declaring themselves correct. Don't listen to them.
 
And, what is this nonsense that he wants to wait ANOTHER five months after the baby is born to get married????

It is nonsense. I really do think the wedding photos of the bride with the baby bump and her daddy holding a shotgun are cute..... I'm not joking.

The (false) logic that if they can't now they never can makes sense to you? Obviously her bf has a plan in place and it takes more time. Why does it only work if it's "now", but can't work at a later time?

And her real focus is her father attempting to force her into a situation where she feels she needs to choose which person she loves is going to be in her life. Her question is more aimed at that and how to resolve it. She already knows what she wants and someone is trying to force her to do something else.
Perhaps focus more on helping her resolve that and less on acting like her father and telling her how to run her life. She didn't ask for that.

I'm telling you, 21 year old guys don't have a plan. If he did, she wouldn't be pregnant right now. When real men knock up a gal, he marries her. If she was good enough for the sack, she is good enough for the home. Putting off the marriage is like propping open the exit door.
I know this girl already has this concern, because she came here and posted about it.

Yes...that's one of the instances. The other was when He wept. The other was when He was crucified...especially the most painful moment when He was forsaken hanging there for us... to finish it.

Doing good actually. Her kids got scholarships for a Christian school and she's looking for a job. :)

I think we can all agree, the rightbthing to do is get married. Maybe it's part of the job of the church fellowship, parents, friends, and complete strangers on an internet chat forum, to pressure loved ones to do the right thing. But I'm no expert, I'm a one time loser already.

I wonder how loving He felt to call Peter Satan... and how loving did it feel to Peter, to be called such by Jesus? Anyways, I don't think Jesus did everything with a smile on His face. or with absolute calmness. I know people like to portray Him that way, and with blue eyes and blonde hair, too.
