So when the Apostles quoted Old Testament verses that were in Hebrew and they were translated into Greek it was the words of men?
Of course lol the word of God didn't appear until early in the 1600's or so I keep being told

So Hebrew to Greek to English. What could possibly go wrong. We all know that different languages are exactly the same, and don't have anything that other languages don't, especially English! In English nouns have no gender and are neither masculine or feminine. That's just one difference.

You rarely speak of Christ. Shall we prompt you again for a token response, or, should we sit in awe of your seeking signs, patterns and numbers that prove nada?
Every pattern I have posted begins with the Bible verse. Matthew 1:1, Mark 1:1, John 1:1, John 18:37, Revelation 19:12, Revelation 22:20, Revelation 22:21, and John 21:13. As a matter fact who has posted more Bible verses on this thread than me? What are my words compared to the words of God? Anytime I quote or post a Bible verse, then Jesus Christ is spoken of because he is the Word of God.

Anyone who makes gematria their cornerstone or authority to their argument has already lost all credibility.

Nothing because God was in control of the whole process.

James37, whatever you have come here to do, you have failed. Even the KJV Onlyist have reprimanded you. Some of us are sincerely concerned for your mental health.

You have taught us nothing, except that you are obsessed, and in a way that doesn't bring glory to God, or the Bible.

My thought is to stop worrying about number patterns and start focusing on God transforming you into the image of Christ. Now, perhaps that means numbers on the page, but my preference is to become like Jesus the man who was God.

And regardless of this ridiculous nonsense with you thinking God encoded perfect numbers in a Bible version 3000 years after Moses, and 2500 years after David, and 1600 years after Jesus, what you are posting has literally no merit, exegetically or in apologetics. And don't go and try and make numbers of that!

Please see a doctor! You are seriously ill. I will be praying for you.

I agree but these patterns aren't gematria, nor are they my cornerstone who is Jesus Christ.

“And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:” Matthew 12:10

corner = 37 times in the KJB

speaking of gematria….

Jesus (Greek) = 888 = 37 x 24

Jesus (English) = 444 = 37 x 12

Jesus (simple English) = 37 x 2

You're a broken record that posts Scripture references like the Bible is some magical lottery winning system book. You don't speak of Christ, you speak of signs, patterns and numbers.

James37 = 7 letters and numbers, with a 7 on the end. 3 + 7 = 1 + 0. That's binary man

So does the Bible.

“How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.” Daniel 4:3

According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. (Exodus 25:9)

God even placed a book in the Bible called “Numbers.” I will take you to task on your false statement that I have been talking about signs because this is the 1st time I even make mention of the word.

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” 1 Thessalonians 5:21
Context! This is not talking EVER about a numerological nightmare. In fact, Paul is giving people instructions on how to live. Read the whole passage.

"Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who labor among you and preside over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to esteem them most highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, admonish the undisciplined, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient toward all. 15 See that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all. 16 Always rejoice, 17 constantly pray, 18 in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not extinguish the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt. 21 But examine all things; hold fast to what is good. 22 Stay away from every form of evil." 1 Thess. 5:12-22

He is addressing his brothers and sister in the Lord, and urging them to do things like COMFORT THE DISCOURAGED, and HELP THE WEAK and BE PATIENT TO ALL!

He is exhorting his friends to rejoice, pray and give thanks. And to walk in the spirit and examine all things. Things like worldly obsessions, for example.

You have truly and utterly gotten lost down a rabbit trail. Please read up on Hermeneutics. That is how you look at a verse in context of the passage, and the chapter and the book and the Bible and in light of Jesus! What you are doing, ripping apart single words in an archaic English version, is the worst possible way to study the Bible. Normally, people come up with wrong doctrines doing English Concordance word studies. Because, English is just not Greek or Hebrew.

But, you have taken bad Bible interpretation to a whole new level. You have split the words into something God did not create them to be. God spoke to us in the Bible to reveal Jesus, not hidden numbers of any sort. Hermeneutics puts the Bible into a whole, it doesn't dice and slice into a nightmare, like you have been posting.

PostHuman is a mathematician and sees no merit in what you have posted. I have calculus and statistics, and I can't make hide nor hair of what your point is. My point is you have been reading your Bible wrong, because you have a form of OCD or worse, which has taken over your life, and may be ruining it.

Please do not think I am here making fun of you. I work with the mentally ill, and I can see you have jumped into the deep end and don't know how to swim. I'm begging you to take a life saver, and paddle to safety, ok?

“For there are three that bear record heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” 1 John 5:7 (157)

“For” 749th (7 x 107) verse in the NT. (case)

“there” 455th (37 x 55) time this word occurs in the NT.

“three” 471st (3 x 157) time this word occurs in the Bible and this is the 417th (139 x 3) verse that contains this word. The number 157 is the 37th prime number and 157 + 139 = 37 x 8

“that” 9731st (37 x 263) verse in the Bible containing this word.

“bear record” this phrase occurs 3 times in the Bible.

“in heaven” 56th (7 x 8) occurrence of this phrase in the NT.

“the Father” 182nd (7 x 26) verse in the Bible containing this phrase.

“Father” 222nd (37 x 3 x 2) verse in the NT containing this word. (case)

“Father” 343rd (7 x 7 x 7) time this word occurs in the NT. (any case)

“the Word” 126th (3 x 7 x 3 x 2) verse in the NT that contains this phrase.

“the Word” 462nd (3 x 77 x 2) time this phrase occurs in the Bible.

“the Holy” 273rd (3 x 7 x 13) time this phrase occurs in the Bible.

“three” 411th (137 x 3) verse in the Bible that contains this word. (case)

“are” 2422nd (173 x 7 x 2) verse in the the Bible that contains this word.

“one” 1939th (7 x 772) time this word occurs in the Bible.

There is much debate whether this verse belongs in the Bible. There is good reason to believe it doesn't. Number patterns alone don't prove its veracity.

Angela,

I am just stating a fact when I point out that 1 John 5:7 contains the 222nd occurrence of the word "Father". Perhaps you can use your "calculus and statistics" to prove that the pattern I just posted in 1 John 5:7 is random. If you can then do it or tell us what the actual odds are. I have been waiting for a mathematician to lay this to issue to rest.

Take a look at this chart! It is about how to read the Bible. This is the direction you need to go in. It is about finding MEANING in the words of the Bible.

You have torn the Bible apart so there is only one meaning, and that is the purity and truth of the KJV. Not the purity and truth of God, but a Bible translation. And I know Greek, and let me assure you, the KJV is NOT a good translation!

You need to take the parts of the Bible and put them together to be the whole. You are completely wrong, in taking individual words, making them into numbers they were never meant to be, and then never putting them back to the whole. In never finding the meaning of the words.

The whole is the goal. That is how we grow in Christ. We grow by understanding the message of Scripture. We are transformed by the Holy Spirit working on us, in connection with reading the Bible the way it was meant to be read. As a whole, pointing to Jesus.

You almost never mention Jesus, except to point to some nonsensical number combinations.

So, here is a question for you. What is your math background? Because, the way you have done this, I'll wager you have none. How sad to be so close, using the Bible, but so far, because you are using the Bible so improperly!

PS. I dare you from now on, instead of referring to this stupid website, to figure all this stuff out on your own. That would be hearing from God, but you would drown in the process.

What does it mean??? Who cares if the number is 222 or 999 or 1? This is NOT good Bible study! You are learning nothing about how to walk with God. You have learned nothing of how to care for the sick and those in prison.

"Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the king will answer them, ‘I tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels! 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. 43 I was a stranger and you did not receive me as a guest, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44 Then they too will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not give you whatever you needed?’ 45 Then he will answer them, ‘I tell you the truth, just as you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for me.’ 46 And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matt 25:34-46

You are NOT pleasing God!
