His children are in elementary school. When I have them, they behave. When he comes home, they don't want to and feel the need to kick holes in the door or run away. The day they kicked a hole in the door, I became a member of this website. I got really upset as my two children (22 and 19) never did that growing up. I had to pray. Then it seemed like my husband wasn't listening when it came to them. So, I registered and then I prayed. God has a sense of humor. I guess he was telling me in HIS time, not mine. He started getting stricter and not putting up with the foolishness. When they saw that..they tried the running away bit. He shocked me and put them out. I went outside through the backdoor undetected to see for their safety...they got scared and banged on the door to come back inside. I don't think he's ever done that before because the look on their faces. That never happened again. The only issue I am having is the mother refuses to send money for the children because my husband doesn't want to speak to her other than about the kids. And, I don't want to keep paying for things allowing her to feel she is getting away with not doing her motherly duties. They divorced because of what she even admitted to have done. No matter how they broke up, she needs to do her duty and I refuse to let her get off with not doing it. I have refrained from financially supporting them. I give gifts, but the burden is on his and hers. As a single parent of the two, I maintained. I couldn't have an easy way out. She complains about the legal restitution she has to pay. Her actions didn't have anything to do with the children and she must pay for them. Am I wrong for this? I don't feel that I am...and everywhere I read...God gives us gifts (children) to raise hence why I don't feel that I am wrong. If there are anything for me to consider, please share.
