Study the patterns for yourself and pray about. See what happens. My primary goal is to point them out and show that they exist. I hope others will look into it and share what they find.
To what end?

does the number 3 or 40 have any bible relevance? if you say No you need to learn a little more about the bible,

the way I see it is a lot of people want some kind of relevance before knowing God on different levels, very few people take leaps of faith, seek and you shall find doesn't mean the same for everybody, so before scoffering the poster just merely say I'm not into the numbers thing is all that is needed. but you know how people are they got to keep up that reputation as being part of the in crowd , hahahaha.....

144 or 144,000, hmmmmm is it a coincidence there's 1,440 minutes in a 24 hours?
Well, thank you for observing that I need to know more about the word of God. I agree with you on that. You know, pot/kettle....

I'm well aware of how some numbers are symbolic for completion, or totality, etc.... but that does not justify going full goose bozo on "the word 'is' is mentioned 37 times in one book....WOW!!!"

If it floats your boat, by all means, satisfy your hobby.... but to say that all of that somehow "proves" the supremacy of a 400 year old translation is simply silliness....

He's been asked this several times as to what it all proves. He's given no valid responses.
It proves there is a pattern present when there should be randomness. It is actually quite simple if you take the time to examine it. You seem to be very vocal so do you deny there is any pattern at all? If so put forth the evidence that what I have posted is not accurate. When I have time I will post the patterns in Genesis 1:1, Genesis 2:1, Revelation 22:6; THE ENTIRE CHAPTER OF JOHN 21, Psalm 148:8; Luke 20:37, and Deuteronomy 32. Download the free software "King James Bible Pure Software" and check for yourself. It is free....only cost you some time and effort.

i didn't think for a single minute you would say anything differently, anything that you don't understand is silly to you and to others as well. It's a classic example of folks who cannot hear nor see a single thing if it isn't written, I call it spiritual blindness.
your better off drinking your 24 pack of beer than trying to debate something your not willing to understand.

The pattern concerning the number 37/73 is found in the Greek and Hebrew texts as well. God put 666 in the Bible and said "count" or as come translations read "calculate" and connects this venture with wisdom. 666= 37 x 18. God put this number in our mitochondrial DNA (37 genes) where the sugars in your body are burned to regulate your body at 37 degrees C.

Cool, there use to be a guy around here named base12, that guy had a lot of info on DNA number codes etc. it was quite fascinating want he use to right about.

Triangular numbers are connected with the number 3...think of the 3rd day (Hosea 6:2, John 2:1) and an event that occurs on that day. It is prophetic.

do you think all of them are significant?
{1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, . . .} ?

what about

1! + 2! + 3! + 4! + 5! = 153

are {1, 3, 9, 33, 153, 873, 5913 .. } all sharing the same significance?

i mean, how do you decide that one way of generating a number is a significant way to do it, and how can you justify that, and if that formulation is significant, why aren't all numbers generated this way carrying the same meaning, or if they're not, why only one or two of them out of the infinite series?

153 is the 36[SUP]th[/SUP] number that is the product of exactly three primes.
153 is the 53[SUP]rd[/SUP] number that is the sum of two nonzero perfect squares.
153 is the 25[SUP]th[/SUP] number whose binary expression is pallindromic.

how do you decide which generating function is the special, significant, meaningful one?
the online encyclopedia of integer sequences lists 6,284 sequences and their generating functions that contain 153. the triangular numbers, a particular binomial series, is only one of them.

https://oeis.org/search?q=153

how do we determine which one is the special one?
and if it's special, shouldn't all the numbers in that sequence be special?

otherwise we're being arbitrary, and that's meaningless.

My willingness or unwillingness to understand has nothing to do with the fact that none of your number fetish "facts" prove or disprove ANYTHING about the word of God.

Like I stated... enjoy your little hobby... it's good to have something to occupy your mind.

I prefer to learn, and dwell on, the actual words and teachings themselves, instead of some kind of mathematical pseudo phenomena... but, hey, you go ahead with what's important to you.

The new Gnosticism.... numbers.

Ahh who knows the answer to this math equation,

9 - 3 ÷ 1/3 + 1 = ?

I don't have a numbers fetish, you are just another twister of words, I don't have any respect towards folks who twist and for that I have nothing more to say to you, stingerguy.

I'd guess 21, but that's about all it would be... a guess. I'm not into math much at all.

So, we doing riddles now?

Let me simplify this....where else can we find the 153 in the Bible besides John 21?

sometimes base12 was very wrong both in his physics and in his hermeneutics.
he similarly didn't care so much when it was pointed out -- he just kept spamming more memes.
he also didn't have much formalism or structure to how he approached things - not as much as i would like, anyway, and he made very haphazard associations without justifying them.
like, a lot of times it was obvious he would just take some fact, any fact at all, and cram the number 7 or Noah's ark into it 'because he really wanted it to be there' not because it actually was. like he wasn't seeign the number 12 everywhere because it was really there, but because he had tattooed the number 12 on his eyeball.

humans tend to see human-like faces in everything. ink blots. static. tree bark. a big part of our brains are well trained to look for faces. are there really faces in every random rust stain and cloud or are we forcing that template on everything? do slugs tend to see slug faces everywhere?

interesting stuff, and give him another 20 years and he might have some refined conclusions, i thought. but i was always pushing him to be rigorous too, because he wasn't, either. i was really critical with him because i wanted him to be really critical - imo it's very necessary.

Got your panties in a wad? Good grief, you can cast aspersions at me, but get righteously indignant when I respond?

Sorry I ruffled your feathers..... I'll try to be more touchy-feely with you from now on.
