Did God inspire words and then lost them?
Did God inspire words and commanded to live by them and not preserve them for us?
Jesus did warn all of us that we will need Him to discern which Bible version loved Him in keeping His words & which did not.
John 14:[SUP]23 [/SUP]Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.[SUP]24 [/SUP]He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 15:[SUP]20 [/SUP]Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
He has led me to rely on the KJV for the meat of His words to discern good & evil whereas most other Bible versions have declined from the testimony of the Son in giving that testimony to another, be it the believer ( 1 Peter 4:19 ) or the Holy Spirit ( Romans 8:27 ) and thereby support false teachings that takes the believers' eyes off of Christ to themselves in doing the best they can religiously or to the Holy Spirit in chasing after Him for a sign.
Psalm 119:[SUP]157 [/SUP]Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.[SUP]158 [/SUP]I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
John 5:[SUP]39 [/SUP]Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.[SUP]40 [/SUP]And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
There is no reasoning nor convincing any one of this truth. Only the Lord can help them see this when they trust Him as their Good Shepherd to see which Bible they are to rely on when there can be no lie of the truth, especially when they change the testimony from being about the Son to someone else.
1 John 2:[SUP]20 [/SUP]But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.[SUP]21 [/SUP]I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
But most believers follow what they have learned rather than confirm everything by Him as their Good Shepherd by the KJV.
