When I'm angry I usually yell at somebody in my head for a while. It doesn't help my blood pressure any, but I get all the things I want to say said, I don't yell at the person himself and I get over it after a while.

That really is how I address anger at other people. When I am angry at the circumstances, I tell God that I am angry and ask for His help through the situation. Then I sometimes laugh at how absurd the situation is. I might whine to God too, not taking myself too seriously.


Regarding not praying, you are denying reality when you think God doesn't care enough about you for you to bring your anger to him in prayer.

Insanity is living by a false view of reality and refusing to change. If one refuses to come to Christ and share with Him their problems and needs, then they are acting insanely in that situation.

Regarding praying to God, one can either submit to His love for him/her or continue living in ones own own stubbornness, insanity, and false view of reality.

This is meant as brotherly admonition not "holier than thou" self importance.

One needs to understand that God's love for them exceeds anything they can imagine. One needs to understand that since God went so far as to allow His Son to be tortured and murdered on our behalf, anything that is keeping us from Him is nothing more than our own stubbornness and self deception.

Right now God the Father would like you to crawl up on His lap and tell Him how you are feeling. Listen to Him when He tells you how much He loves you.

You are much hotter than me. :p Here it is freezing cold, 15 inches of snow and I am sitting considering putting on my mittens indoors. Already having two layers of wool. Yeah. Did I dream of a scholarship to the southern states? I really should find a good project.
 
15 inches of snow? What do the dogs think of it?

My australian shepherd spends most of his time in the doghouse in winter, and he seems to find walking in snow distasteful.

Women are not all about looks- but men are. So he should buck up! I wonder how many men would turn down a Victoria’s Secret model if she were dumb as a rock and as mean as a snake. I would venture to say, most men would go with her anyway.

Men are all about looks? Really? Interesting since most of the women I've ever dated did not fall under the category of "mainstream beauty".
The first time I ever hard truly strong feeling for a girl i was 17. I was crazy about her. Even thought about marrying her, and we weren't even dating. Physically she was plain, a little chunky, bad acne. She dressed in a modest manner. Going by strictly appearances few guys would even notice her. But I thought she was great. I enjoyed who she was. And I did see some physical attraction as well, but not because she was a "model".
Even with Silly, she's short and a bit overweight, so, again, not part of the "mainstream beauty" look of skinny bombshells. But I find her to be absolutely beautiful and sexy. But above all it's who she is that I fell in love with.
I could go on with more examples, but won't.
Yes, I require someone that is physically attractive to me. But by My standards of attractive, and those do not always fall in line with what many consider beautiful.
Victoria Secret models are, in my opinion, too scrawny. Many have pretty faces, but bodies like 10 year old boys. No thanks. I I like women.
I have dated some "mainstream" beauty types. They liked me because I got to know them, not just their looks. It was something new for them.

I wrote MOST men would go with a Victoria’s Secret Model if she were as dumb as a rock and as mean as a snake. I did not write ALL, but MOST would if she approached a man and said she was crazy about him.
 
I am overwhelmed right now. I have a ton of work I was supposed to complete by tomorrow evening. However, my laptop decided to die a few hours ago and my computer tech husband wasn't able to fix it. So I'm using his computer to try and complete the work. Then the website blocks me from accessing the training modules I am supposed to be completing. There is about 4 days worth of videos and assessments that still need to be done of all of the work my GM wanted me to complete, and are supposed to be done by the end of November, but she only gave me access to do them 3 days ago. If I had more time, I would have been able to get it done, but 4 days to complete 8 days worth of things isn't possible.

And I hate knowing I can't complete them and will be disappointing my boss who is already overworked, stressed and frustrated herself because she isn't just my GM, but the VP of Operations for my hotel's entire management company and she has WAY bigger issues and more to manage and worry about than just my one single hotel. Which is the reason I only got access 3 days ago, because she has so much to manage that she simply forgot it needed to be done.


It's a no win situation no matter what way you look at it.

My dogs have no problems walking and running and jumping in the snow. It is quite cold, so the snow is light and fluffy, and it is easy to play in. Memo loves it, and as you have seen, he always comes in with snow on his nose. Plato has no problem with it, but he is not loving it. He likes to explore the poop hidden under the snow, tough, and that is not that kind of icecream I would like him to eat.

Really????? Do you have snow so far south?

Once every two or three years we get snow. Maybe that's why my dog doesn't like it, we don't get it enough for him to get used to it.

This year I'm betting we'll get snow because we have had a big problem with those Asian import ladybugs in houses this year. Last year I didn't see one "Painted Lady" beetle and we got no snow at all last year.

Problem here is if we DO get snow, nobody knows how to drive on it. Everybody either stays home or slides around and winds up stuck in a ditch.

Yup, and most women think that about men. Most women paint everything they see with a really broad brush because most women are really fond of making sweeping generalizations.

What? Most women do NOT make sweeping generalizations? Neither are MOST men as dumb as you think they are.

As much as I love Word over Open Office and Libre Office.
Language settings are much easier in Libre Office. I hate when the word document is so stubborn it insits that I type in English, and I have only typed in Norwegian, and then, when I change the language settings, it jumps back to English.
