So you exalt yourself with 1 question to validate if I’m a Christian? ... sure I’m going to bite that bait... let the Messiah be your Teacher.. Believe Him above all else..

By the Grace of GOD through Faith in His Beloved Son I’m a Child of GOD because I believe...

Please call me a Child of GOD.. a Sabbatarian is not a term used in the Bible...
Do you believe that Jesus is uncreated God? If you do not, you are not a Christian.

I was not asking for a list of verses. I asked if you believe that Jesus is eternal God.
Of course I do those scriptures are why I believe the way I do because I BELIEVE God's WORD. If you do NOT BELIEVE God's WORD then you are NOT a Christian indeed because you do not know him who loves all. This applies equally to ALL of God's Word and why we all need to REPENT of our UNBELIEF because the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at hand.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten ( Exodus 20:8-11 ) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness w e are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

If you disagree with the above by all means prove your case from the Word of God. If you cannot you should BELIEVE God's Word because ONLY God's Word is true (Romans 3:4)

May God bless you as you seek Him through His Word.

i'll say it again- any theology that cannot give straight answers to straight questions is not a real theology.

He didn't exalt himself, and either way, he'd be "judging" if he determined you were a believer as well as if not. You want him to judge you as if you are, he's using Biblical principles for his assessment, you simply do not like the implications of that usage. But nevertheless, he's spot on concerning the deity of Christ and those who deny it; John 8:24.

I would also suggest that theology without Scripture is not the Word of God and we should be careful not to believe it over the Word of God especially if it leads us to break the commandments of God and away from God's Word.

let me demonstrate this for you - person a- " do you believe in the virgin birth ? "

person b " yes I do" or " no I don't "

this is how questions are answered . you refuse. your theology will not allow you to engage in dialog. it is not real.

Well that is not true at all. I like to share scripture that support what I believe as it is the reason I believe what I do to follow my Lords teachings. If you do not know the scriptures how can you share God's Word or know his truth?

2 Timothy 3
16,
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

1 Peter 3
15,
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

PS. Why do you not like people sharing God's Word for what they believe?

Sure... use a Biblical assessment correctly... no wonder there is so much heresy.. posing an ultimate question to prove one a Believer..

Quite sure that it is written:

18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 24Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
25And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

You have to deny Jesus is the Messiah... deny the Son you have not the Father.. acknowledge the Son you hath the Father...

So ask the question properly...

LGF.. once the question that requires a yes or no to be counted a Believer comes out.. you know they have no more Scripture to share so they resort to distracting...

The power of GOD is not tied to the million dollar question...GOD knows who Love and Believe His Son’s Testament.. those sharing His Teachings are certainly not unbelievers...

My Beliefs are on solid foundation by the Grace of GOD..

Where do you find these questions to prove a Believer? Catholic Church?

MarcR,
re: "There are basically three major groups or movements that teach that People can please God by their own efforts.

Would doing things be considered "efforts"?

1 John 4

1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Another Biblical Assessment.^

The two questions posed earlier to prove a person a Christian or not.. can you share the Scripture that pose the questions exactly how they were asked here of myself and LGF, thank you.

In my opinion, it was for all believers who tied themselves to the nation of Israel, according to the Scriptures. Further, in my opinion, it is a gift to His followers, according to the Scriptures. And -- in my opinion :) -- our L-RD did Sabbath and told us, "Do as I do." I don't want to miss any gift of His!
He didn't give the Sabbath to anyone.

Our Lord also offered sacrifices. Do you?
