What are you making? I tried to make snow globes and they didn't exactly turn out the way I thought they would. I made some Christmas tree ornaments instead to attach to gifts

For some reason Christmas caught me by surprise this year. I have 26-ish loaves of bread to make by next Sunday, making sourdough bread takes a whole day and I work Monday through Saturday this week.
First I thought this was a new thread...then I saw it was a zombie thread...then I saw that Skittles is the one who resurrected it....so technically it's a re-newed thread!!
I have been buying my daughter gift cards for Christmas this year. So far I have gotten her Cineplex ($50), Pet Smart (3 x $25 {they were on sale, 20% off }), Home Sense ($25, redeemable at a number of stores), Winners ($25, redeemable at a number of stores), La Senza ($25), and McDonald's ($25). These are all places where she spends money regularly, so they are safe bets, unlike clothing. Buying clothes for her is pointless because she is tiny, and sizes vary; sometimes she can wear a medium and others she needs in extra small, plus she does not care for certain fabrics (like any kind of wool, which she finds unbearably itchy). I buy goodies at a Polish deli for her and her dad and aunt and grandfather, also. And strawberry flavored marshmallows at Whole Foods, which her aunt loves. The frenzy of Christmas shopping is not for me
I think your problem is the baby naps fine, it's just that's all babies do -- nap. They don't sleep a full night, or take nice long naps. And then? They wake up crying.
Have the baby work for you, not against you. Every time he baby-pukes, put the puke in an ice cube tray slot. On Christmas pull out all the trays, slap a Christmas ribbon on each one, call them "square snowballs," stick in cooler, and hand those out as a very special creative gift from you and him.
This will work in your favor, because no one will ever want a homemade gift from you again.
