The truly scandalous thing is you make God says things in the New Covenant He does not.

In fact please find the phrase in Greek unrepentant sin?

The reason there is confusion on the word Gospel and it being devalued to only mean (good news) is because the word carries a deeper implication.....when one properly evaluates the word gramatically it means and carries the idea of (correct message) ......this is clearly seen and implied by the usage of the word.....for example....when the angel flies thru the midst of heaven proclaiming the gospel (correct message)......WORSHIP HIM WHO MADE THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH........anything, everything that is truth in the bible is the correct message (gospel) and not necessarily (good news)........remember the old saying.....it is the gospel truth......we have allowed to word to take a new meaning while ignoring the implication of the word itself........!

This was a really good thread until the usual suspects from both sides of the not by works team house decided to derail the thread and make it about salvation and how it is obtained.

You guys have your team house, is it really to much to ask from both sides of that thread to stay in your team house and then blow each other up!?

Why must every other really good threads be interrupted by both sides of the not by works team house coming in and blowing up another thread to push their sacred cows.

There are at least 7 or 8 other Bible covenants and the only one that mattered was the agenda seekers on both sides of the not by works team house seeking to derail an otherwise awesome thread.

Hiz, loveme, loveGodforever, DCON and your squad, could you all keep your stuff in the not by works team house?

Please?
I made two posts and neither had anything to do with that subject....so.....

a. mind your own business
b. quit falsely accusing
c. your not the cc police
d. and did I say mind your own business?

Hello Magenta,

So what are you trying to say here? Are you trying to say that there is no such thing as someone who practices unrepentant sin? Also is someone that is living a life of known SIN is a saved state before God or an unsaved state before God?

Unrepentant SIN = No repentance for SIN and is the opposite of repentance which is to CONTINUE in SIN and as has been mentioned earlier SIN will keep you out of God's Kingdom. Continuing in KNOWN SIN will keep you OUT of God's Kingdom because you have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son and you have NOT BELIEVED God's Word and have become an UNBELIEVER.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten ( Exodus 20:8-11 ) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

My reason for including you on my comments have nothing to do with what you posted here. They have everything to do with the fact that you are a validated leader on this entire chat board.

People listen to you, follow you and look up to you as a spiritual leader.

I would think since you are such a leader on this board, that the very least you could do, is exhibit the same leadership you show on your own thread and shepherd people to moderate when the derailing starts to occur.

I was showing that the phrase "unrepentant sin" is not in the Bible.
I noticed you did not answer the other questions. Which were...........

Sorry I just do not know the purpose or meaning of your earlier post as it only seems to support your friend by saying there is no such thing as unrepentant sin which is someone that has chosen to continue a life of sin.

That was the reason for my questions above and earlier. Are you able to expand on what you are trying to say?

If you do not know God's Word how can you know the truth? If you do not know the truth you are in danger of being carried about with every wind of doctrine.....
can folks be saved if they cant read? or is that a requirement for salvation?

u dont even need a bible to be saved. all u need is faith and the work of Jesus on the cross, having faith in His blood.
thats when u get the seal of the Holy Ghost. doctrine dont save u.

Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Yes these scriptures are true but only to those that BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's Word.

Why? They always had God's Word and those that preached it to those that did not have it. In times of ignorance God winks at but when a knowledge of the truth comes calls all men everywhere to repent and believe the Gospel.

translation: only those who keep the sabbath. its always the same garbage with u guys.
God's Word is not garbage my friend and we should believe all of it because we only have life by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Sin will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom

I noticed you did not answer the other questions.
Your other questions are irrelevant red herrings designed to make others look bad. So, no, I will not entertain you today. Maybe some other time?

Hello UG,

If you do not know God's Word how can you know the truth? If you do not know the truth you are in danger of being carried about with every wind of doctrine.....

James 2
10,
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11,
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Hebrews 10

26, For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,
27, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Hebrews 6
4, For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7, For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes oft upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God:
8, But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

1 John 2
3, And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that saith, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 3
6, Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Only God's Word is true and we should Believe and Follow him who LOVES all.
Your first sentence could be said of us all.
As you point out in James.
If we break one commandment we break them all.
Standing beside God and saying I kept 9 of them will not cut it.

Hebrews 10 is a total rejection of God and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.

10:26-31: The author interjects a strong warning concerning the danger of rejecting God’s Son and his authoritative word. The warning challenges hearers to respond with a commitment to follow Christ.
10:26-27: deliberately: Open rebellion against God’s laws was described as “sinning with a high hand” (see note on Num 15:30-31). Here the author has in mind specifically a rejection of Christ and his work. Christ’s sacrifice for sins has done away with the sacrificial system of the old covenant (9:11–10:18). If a person rejects the Son’s sacrifice, there is no other sacrifice—nowhere else to go—for forgiveness. A person who rejects Christ can only expect judgment as one of God’s enemies (cp. Isa 26:10-11).

We need to take it further with regards to keeping the commands.

1 John 3:14-15
14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. 15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

However if at a point in time if we die with unrepentant sin as a genuine believer do we go to hell?

Like when my mum through me out whilst calling me ######### and saying I should have aborted you
And then spread rumours that I was gay and had AIDS and I hated her for it.

Then I was fostered.

If I had died 5 minutes after my foster sexual abuser had finished doing what he did and I hated him for it, then according to you I'm going to hell.

As you say

Known UNREPENTANT SIN will keep you out of God's Kingdom.
I'm sure I've been here with you before (if memory serves me)

Anyway given your quote above it comes across as callous, unloving and non caring.

I hope before you die you have no unrepentant sin in your life.
I wouldn't want you to spend eternity in hell with this miserable sinner.

The questions are relating to your post. It is ok I did not think you would answer them as they expose your post for what it really was. Maybe you can answer the questions for yourself. You do not need to answer them here.

so i was right.

here is the sda translation of the gospel:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, so that whosever believeth in Him (and keeps the sabbath) should not perish but should have everlasting life (unless he stops keeping the sabbath)

For by grace are ye saved through sabbathkeeping, it is not of yourselves it is the gift of God lest any man should boast.

Repent and keep the sabbath and thou shalt be saved.

anytime u see the words obedience or commandments used by this guy, know that he is specificlaly saying if u dont keep the sabbath u are LOST. remember that. dont be tricked.
