Come on. These ministries just have differing opinions!!!

1Peter 2:1 "So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander."

Just because their opinions don't match yours is no reason to slander them and go on a heresy hunt!!!!!!!! :D

Seems many want a "god" and religion of their own imagination rather than of YHWH. Rather sad.

Ezekiel 13:1-23, "13:1, "And the word of יהוה came to me, saying,"13:2, "“Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Yisra’ĕl who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, ‘Hear the word of יהוה!’ ”"13:3, "Thus said the Master יהוה, “Woe to the foolish prophets, who are following their own spirit, without having had a vision!"13:4, "“O Yisra’ĕl, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins."13:5, "“You have not gone up into the breaches, nor do you build a wall for the house of Yisra’ĕl to stand in battle on the day of יהוה."13:6, "“Their visions are false and their divinations a lie, saying, ‘Thus declares יהוה,’ when יהוה has not sent them, yet they expected the word to be confirmed!"13:7, "“Have you not seen a false vision, and have you not spoken a divination of lies? You say, ‘יהוה declares,’ when I have not spoken.”"13:8, "Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, “Because you have spoken falsehood and seen lies, therefore see, I am against you,” declares the Master יהוה."13:9, "“My hand shall be against the prophets who see falsehood and who divine lies. They shall not be in the council of My people, nor be written in the record of the house of Yisra’ĕl, and they shall not enter into the land of Yisra’ĕl. And you shall know that I am the Master יהוה."13:10, "“Because, yes because they have led My people astray, saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace. And when one is building a wall, see, they are coating it with whitewash!"13:11, "“Say to those who coat it with whitewash: it shall fall! There shall be flooding rain, and you, O great hailstones: fall! – and a stormy wind breaks it down,"13:12, "and see, the wall shall fall! Shall you not be asked, ‘Where is the coating with which you coated it?’ ”"13:13, "Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, “I shall break down with a stormy wind in My wrath, and a flooding rain in My displeasure, and great hailstones in wrath, to consume."13:14, "“And I shall throw down the wall you have coated with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, and its foundation shall be uncovered. And it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it. And you shall know that I am יהוה."13:15, "“So I shall complete My wrath on the wall and on those coating it with whitewash, and say to you, ‘The wall is no more, nor those whitewashing it –"13:16, "the prophets of Yisra’ĕl who are prophesying concerning Yerushalayim, and who are seeing visions of peace for her when there is no peace,’ ” declares the Master יהוה."13:17, "“And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who are prophesying out of their own heart, and prophesy against them."13:18, "“And you shall say, ‘This is what the Master יהוה said, “Woe to the women sewing cushions for all joints of the hand, and to those making veils for the heads of people of every size, to hunt beings! You hunt the beings of My people, while you keep alive your own beings!"13:19, "“And you have profaned Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to put to death beings that should not die, and to keep alive beings who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies!”"13:20, "Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am against your cushions by which you hunt the beings there like birds. And I shall tear them from your arms, and shall let the beings go, the beings you hunt like birds."13:21, "“And I shall tear off your veils, and shall deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall no longer be as prey in your hand. And you shall know that I am יהוה.” ’ ”"13:22, "“Because with falsehood you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad. And you have strengthened the hands of the wrong, so that he does not turn from his evil way, to keep him alive."13:23, "“Therefore you shall no longer see false visions, nor practise divination. And I shall deliver My people out of your hand, and you shall know that I am יהוה.” ’ ”"

The ones that really deceive are the ones who are close, really close, to the truth. Not the psychos like these.

For every idjit that falls for this garbage there are 10000 who fall for ," I woke up one day and I was just saved. I never believed the Gospel, I just figured out I was one of His elect." AND ," You better work your tail off if you want to keep His 'gift' or stay saved.".......those are the DANGEROUS deceptions. Not the whack jobs.

Whosoever can believe.

They can never perish.

OK, text does not convey tone, and I have to say I was rather confused by that comment, we may disagree on dsome issues but that one really got me. Glad to hear it was in a sarcastic tone.

Also what somes to mind for myslf, not say this "at" you, but to myself and anyone; Look at what this particular group is doind is wrong, and we should be albe to judge between right and wrong, not anyones eternal place, but a deed is discernable:

John 4:24, "Yah is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.”

James 3:17, “But the wisdom from above is first clean, then peaceable, gentle, ready to obey, filled with compassion and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

John 7:24, “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

I think I myself and all followers of Messiah can use this to self examine and think "yeah I may not do this poarticular thing, but is there anything that I do partake in that is aginst Him?"

Why name call just because they have a differing opinion than you? To make you look better? How many souls have you won? These are out there doing something for God. What are you doing?

For every idjit that falls for this garbage
More name calling. Do these call you names? Just because they differ in opinion there is no need to call them names and slander.

there are 10000 who fall for ," I woke up one day and I was just saved. I never believed the Gospel, I just figured out I was one of His elect." AND ," You better work your tail off if you want to keep His 'gift' or stay saved.".......those are the DANGEROUS deceptions. Not the whack jobs.
Get some documentation for your slander, people who actually say what you quoted them as saying. Thanks.

Whosoever can believe. They can never perish.
Who says these don't believe? You've offered not one verse to prove them wrong. It appears you're on a heresy hunt, trying to make yourself look better than them. ;) :p :D

It would be interesting to see what Bethel, itself, has to say about that. (Not Jan Hodge)
It took a long time to finally track down the "hate page" 7Seas quoted from........... and I guess it wasn't necessary to also quote this open admission:
That is a very heavy claim to make, so I went to the main Bethel site and found nothing. I went to the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry…and found nothing. Then I went and talked with Google, and I hit the motherlode.
Is anyone out there willing to help us out, and show a link to Bethel's support of this stuff?

I can not confirm or deny witness as I have not seen it firsthand.

Here is an interesting article and a video from their teachings and a rather odd video at the bottom:

[h=1]Christalignment Chaos At Bethel Church Using ‘Destiny Reading Cards’ To Deceive Followers With Witchcraft[/h]
There is a group calling themselves 'Christalignment' and this is where the New Age destiny reading cards come from. Bethel Church has created a "ministry" to partner with the Christalignment people called 'Mind, Body and Spirit'. Christalignment is pro-LGBTQ, extremely New Age, and 100% occult. And the "christ' they want to align you to is not Jesus Christ, it's the other guy

[h=4]The charismatics at Bethel Church and elsewhere have commandeered this satanic practice and seek to help people gain insight into their life from these “readings.”[/h] “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)
Oh brother, where do you even begin with this one? Just when you thought that Bethel Church in Redding, California, could not squeeze in even one more demon they go and add a legion more. When I first read this story just yesterday on Pulpit & Pen, I thought no way is this true. Then I did some digging that the Pulpit people did not seem to do, and the shocking confirmation was soon in evidence.
From Pulpit & Pen: Called “Destiny Reading Cards,” charismatics – some associated with Bethel Church in Redding, California – are engaging in what is essentially tarot card reading. They call it a “reading” and refer to the program as “Christalignment.” They don’t do “predictions,” but they will help empower your destiny rather than control it. Using what is essentially tarot cards, they do a “reading” about relations, jobs and issues to help people “make better decisions in the future.” source
That is a very heavy claim to make, so I went to the main Bethel site and found nothing. I went to the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry…and found nothing. Then I went and talked with Google, and I hit the motherlode.
Seems that a woman named Theresa Dedmon is on staff at Bethel, this is from her bio:
“I am on pastoral staff at Bethel Church in Redding, California, where I oversee the Creative Arts department for the Church and School of Supernatural Ministry. I instruct on worship expressions and arts events within the church, as well as strategy and coordination for city transformation and outreach. I also speak at national and international conferences, equipping and activating people in prophetic and healing ministry as I show them how to step into their supernatural and creative destinies.” source
[h=4]Christalignment blocks anyone from posting their videos:[/h] As you can see, there is no video below. This is because the Christalignment people block anyone from linking to their videos. Click here to visit their YouTube channel.
Theresa has written a book entitled ‘Born To Create: Stepping Into Your SUPERNATURAL destiny‘ and it’s a doozy if you’re saved. It’s full on deception if you’re not. Here is what she says under the header ‘Welcome Ministry, Staff and Small Groups’:
“Supernatural creativity can impact people who are coming to your church for the first time. During the school year, I have the School of Ministry students sit at Bethel’s welcome table and prophesy to newcomers through destiny cards, singing, and playing instruments over people…” source
[h=4]Destiny cards are nothing more than “christian” tarot cards and completely connected to Satanism and the occult[/h] There is a group calling themselves ‘Christalignment‘ and this is where the New Age destiny reading cards come from. Bethel Church has created a “ministry” to partner with the Christalignment people called ‘Mind, Body and Spirit’. Christalignment is pro-LGBTQ, extremely New Age, and 100% occult. And the “christ’ they want to align you to is not Jesus Christ, it’s the other guy:
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” 1 John 2:18 (KJV)
The word ‘christ’ means ‘messiah’ in the Bible. God has His Christ who is the King of Kings, Jesus Christ, but the Devil has his christ as well, the one we call the Antichrist. This is the christ of the Christalignment people, and sadly, it would also seem to be the christ of Bethel Church as well.
If your church has anything to do with Christalignment, destiny reading cards, or Bethel Church, run as fast as you can to the exit, or you may up in a church service that looks like this:
[h=4]Watch False Teacher Heidi Baker Imparting Demons And Casting Spells At Bethel Church[/h] If you are reading this via email, click this link to watch video.

About 10 years ago there were Churches doing what they called the "disciple walk" and it was some type of Greek mystery religon thing, I do not remember the name of it, but I do know it was not and had nothing to do with Christ just as this non-sense.

It never surprises me about people who want to be called by the name of Christ by adding the "ian" to His name, they will follow anything that they fell like and always have a problem with people that sudy the Bible to know the nature of the Lord and all Christians are to be one and should be one. Not by having a certificate for it, but by their knowledge of the Lord's word, they are theologians or one who studies God.

All these types of things fall under the idea, "it is spiritual" that somehow being spiritual has something to do with Christ when it does not, it has to do with any spirit. Even those that are not of Chirst, but more in line with anti-christ, very sad, but it falls in line with II Thessalonians 2:3-4

“Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.”
I assume THIS is what you are talking about?

In that one simple sentence, you spoke the truth. The rest is something someone else put together.

This stuff may, or may not be going on. But, as I said before, I honestly would like to see something from an officially sanctioned Bethel webpage that says something about it.

I read one of theior members denying it, but even in that I do not know if it was really a member or if what that person says is true. Honestly it would not surprise me if they or other churches were doing this kindof thing, not to sound like a humbug, but sin is sin, wroing is wrong, most churches I have been to cater more to the modern culture rather than to Scriptual principles. It is like a concert with a few Scriptures and a sermon full of things that sound good and are comforting and pull on our heart strings but are not fully rooted in the Scriptures. Now that is not to say all are like this, but simply the few places I have visited and briefly at that as I have never been a member of a church, and I ont know every doctrine, but I have also seen right ones who stay Scripture focused no matter if they have high or low attendance, may Yah bless those places that do not conform to society but rather who seek to conform to YHWH's Word!

well if you call it a hate page it must be a hate page?

I quoted directly from the book of the woman promoting the cards and teaching her students to do the same who is on staff with Bethel

I don't want to sound sarcastic because this is a serious subject...but did you miss that?

I am well aware a number of people on here totally support Bethel...in spite of their occult practices

even without this added to the mix, I still would not advice anyone to become involved with them

why would it take you a long time to track down something I provided a link for? Pulpit and Pen is hardly a hate page or a hate site

if you care to disagree go ahead...but don't make it seem somebody in a basement made this up

since a video of Heidi Baker was posted this is the type of carnival that goes on and is accepted as prophetic and part of the New Apostolic Reformation

I've listened to some of her teaching. Go ahead and look her up and if you think she is sound then go for it

I posted this op because this appears to be something fresh coming along. A teacher on staff of Bethel is teaching how to use the cards and the students are presenting them at the welcome desk at the church

this is in her book and she is proud of it. I didn't make it up...buy her book. get a real revelation of what goes on there

I find it really remarkable that all these Hate Sites seem to know absolutely everything that goes on at all these ministries they say "we" should have nothing to do with. It kind of makes me wonder just who they spend their time concentrating on. I probably wouldn't even know most of these places existed, let alone the deep inner workings of their organizations, if it wasn't for all the Heresy Hunters spreading their "false" preachings.

I wish they would mix it up some, and keep us up to date with some entertainment on Voodoo and maybe Swahili Beliefs.

If this is a wrong practice...which I believe it is...my question is, "Is it wise to go ahead and advertise it for them?"

Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Will,

we have self-called, open 'voo-doo worshipping neighbors who are actually practicing their imaginations and
maschinations against their own kin...even to the extreme of sending them their demonic
spells, along with certain 'items', and performing bizarre rituals, right in front of them,
on a daily basis...

I know it's hard to believe, but Willie, why would we share such things if we haven't witnessed them
and been the butt of some, but not defeated over as victims of their own ignorance and satanic-stupidity???
