Deuteronomy 31:26

"Take this Book of the Law and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you."

yes it does. like this - 1st John 3- the commands we are to obey - believe in the name of the Son and love one another. nothing about Sabbath . the works of the flesh and the fruits of the Sprit- not keeping the Sabbath is not listed as a sin, and doing so is not listed as a fruit.

it would seem like that those 2 would have been a perfect place to command Sabbath, yet nothing. curious , huh ?
Now gb9, that is not true at all. What does God's Word say? Let's take a look...............

WHAT IS SIN?

James 2
8, If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:
9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10, For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, YOU ARE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF GOD'S LAW
James is pretty clear if we brake ANY of God's Law (10 commandments) then we are a TRANSGRESSOR of God's LAW

links to...........

1 John 3
4 Whosoever commits SIN transgresses also the law: for SIN is the transgression of the law.
John is in agreement with James and states that if we TRANSGRESS God's LAW then we commit SIN because SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF GOD'S LAW. So it is very clear that SIN is breaking ANY of God's LAW (10 commandments)

Links to...........

Romans 7

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known SIN, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Well here we have Paul in agreement with James and John also telling us that SIN is breaking God's commandments and uses the 10th commandment as an example of breaking any of God's LAW (10 commandments) = SIN (Exodus 20:17)

Links to............

Romans 3

20, Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: FOR BY THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN.

Once again Paul is in agreement with John and James which all agree together that if we break any of God's LAW (10 commandments) we commit SIN because as James, John and Paul all agree together that SIN is breaking ANY of God's 10 commandments.

God's Word is in disagreement with you my friend. SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (10 commandments)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

....................

God's Word says SIN in breaking God's LAW, let's look at the scripture you want to quote from 1 John 3.......

1 John 3
3, And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
4, Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF GOD'S LAW.
5, And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6, Whosoever abides in him SIN<breaks God's LAW> not: whosoever SIN<breaks God's LAW> hath not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous <Psalms 119:172 All your commandments = RIGHTEOUSNESS>.
8, He that commits SIN <breaks God's LAW> is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9, Whosoever is born of God DOES NOT commit SIN<breaks God's LAW>; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot SIN<breaks God's LAW>, because he is born of God.
10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.
11, For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13, Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14, We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides in death.
15, Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Some key points..........

v4.
SIN = Breaking God's Commandments
v6. Those who knowingly break God's commandments do not know God
v7. Don't be DECEIVED only those who DO NOT break God's commandments are is RIGHTEOUS as HE IS RIGHTEOUS
v8. If you are living in a life of KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN you are following the DEVIL and not GOD (Acts 17:30-31; Heb 10:26:27)
v9. If you are BORN OF GOD you will NOT practice SIN
v10. LOVE AND OBEDIENCE to GOD'S LAW SHOW WHO ARE GOD'S PEOPLE and DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD'S LAW SHOW THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL
v15. Example of the 7th commandment (Exodus 20: 13) being broken. Those who brake God's LAW and SIN DO NOT have ETERNAL LIFE

Links to what Jesus says in Matthew..............

Matthew 7
21, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; BUT HE THE DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER IN HEAVEN <FAITH THAT WORKS BY Love and OBEDIENCE>
22, Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23, And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU <1 John 3:6 = has not seen him or known him because they break God's LAW and practice SIN>: DEPART FROM ME YOU WHO WORK INIQUITY (SIN)

Now all of the above is the CONTEXT of 1 John 3:23-24 which is to love one another. Now lets look at LOVE and how it links to FAITH and OBEDIENCE.

............................

ONLY FAITH THAT WORKS BY LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF GOD'S LAW

Now let's look at the connection between the two GREAT commandments of LOVE and God's LAW (10 commandments)

You cannot separate God’s Law of love from the 10 commandments because they are connected to each other. There is no need for confusion here. God’s Word makes it very clear.

Let's have a look.......

What does Jesus say when he talk about the commandments. Jesus is quoting from Old testament scriptures of Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18.................

Matthew 22
36, Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38, This is the first and great commandment.
39, And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40, ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.

Let's get clearer............

Matthew 19
16, And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17, And he said unto him, Why call thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: BUT IF YOU WILL ENTER INTO LIFE KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.
18, He saith unto him, WHICH? JESUS SAID, THOU SHALT NOT MURDER, THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, THOU SHALT NOT STEAL, THOU SHALT NOT LIE, HONOR YOU MOTHER AND FATHER AND THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF
20, The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21, Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. <Jesus showed him that he may have fulfilled His duty of love to his neighbor but not to God breaking commandment 1 and 2 loving riches more than God>

Well Jesus makes it very clear that what he is talking about it is the 10 commandments of God's Law.

What about James.........

James 2
8, If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF, ye do well:
9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10, FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL KEEP THE WHOLE LAW AND YET OFFEND IN ONE POINT, HE SHALL BE GUILTY OF ALL.
11, FOR HE THAT SAID, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY SAID ALSO DO NOT KILL. NOW IF YOU DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY AND YOU KILL, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF GOD'S LAW.

12, So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Well James makes it very clear what he is talking about when he talks about the Royal Law of love. He is talking about the 10 commandments. So Jesus and James both agree that they are talking about God's 10 commandments which also include the 4th commandment which is one of the ten.

What about Paul? He wrote a lot of books in God's Word........

Romans 13
8, Owe no man anything, but to LOVE ONE ANOTHER: for HE THAT LOVES ANOTHER HAS FULFILLED THE LAW.
9, For this, THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, THOU SHALT NOT KILL, THOU SHALT NOT STEAL, THOU SHALT NOT LIE, THOU SHALT NOT COVET; and IF THERE SHALL BE ANY OTHER COMMANDMENT, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.
10, Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW.

Paul makes it very clear what he is talking about as well when he is talking about God's Law. It seems like Jesus, James and Paul all agree together what it is they are referring to when talking about God's Law. They are all referring to God's 10 commandments which includes the 4th commandment which is one of the ten (Exodus 20:1-17)

So now that God's Word shows us what it is referring to. No need to guess, what are talking about, God’s Law of Love is God's 10 commandments. It is only through Faith that works by love that anyone can walk in the Spirit which produces the fruit of obedience because love is the fulfilling of God’s Law in those that walk by faith and not by sight.

So it looks like Jesus, James, Paul and John all agree together so it is unanimous that God's Law (10 commandments) are all tied to LOVE which is the power of God unto salvation through Faith. The FRUIT of FAITH is OBEDIENCE and the fulfilling of God's LAW in the hearts of those who walk by FAITH in the SPIRIT (Romans 8:1-4)

So my friend the FRUIT of FAITH is OBEDIENCE to God's LAW (10 commandments) If you have no FRUIT then you need to be aware that your tree will be CUT DOWN. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:26-27; 31)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30-31). God's Word says if we break one of the ten we stand guilty before God of breaking all the commandments of God (James 2:8-12). God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and if we break it like any of the other commandments we stand guilty before God of SIN (Exodus 20:1-17).

If we break any of God’s Laws we stand guilty before God in SIN (James 2:11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Romans 3:20). This includes the 4th commandment which is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

Who will you follow?

Deuteronomy 31:26

"Take this Book of the Law and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you."
“I do not accept glory from human beings, 42 but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. 43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. 44 How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God[d]?
45 “But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. 46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”

This is the account which Yeshua spoke about. And if you read further, the song of moses heart will tell you a secret.

Deuteronomy 31:26

"Take this Book of the Law and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you."
Absolutely great scripture. Now this should help you. The Mosaic laws were placed where? BY THE SIDE OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT.

Now where were the 10 commandments placed? (Exodus 31:18; 40:20; Deuteronomy 10:1-2)

Why do you think God requested that God's Law and the Mosaic laws of the Old Covenant were to be kept separated?

Exodus 19:5-6
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel."

Deuteronomy 4:13
And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.

Hebrews 8:6-7
But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.

Three things in the ark of the covenant:
Aaron's rod
A bowl of manna
The tablets containing the decalogue of the covenant

Three shadows whose substance is Christ.

Who is our true High Priest? Who is the true bread from heaven?

Hold on there my friend... the Mosaic laws written by Moses where also part of the Old Covenant and you haven't answered any of my questions I see so let me repeat them and give you something further to consider........

The part of the Old Covenant that you are ignoring is the Mosaic laws written in the book...........

EXODUS 24 [5] And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.[6] And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. [7] AND HE TOOK THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT AND READ IN THE AUDIENCE OF THE PEOPLE: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. [8] And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, BEHOLD THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

DEUTERONOMY 29 [21] And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, ACCORDING TO ALL THE CURSES OF THE COVENANT THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THIS LAW:

DEUTERONOMY 31 [24] And it came to pass, when MOSES HAD MADE AN END OF WRITING THE WORDS OF THIS BOOK, UNTIL THEY WERE FINISHED, [25] That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, [26], TAKE THIS BOOK OF THE LAW, AND PUT IT IN THE SIDE OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee

The Ark of the Covenant was the home of the covenant to God and His people and included both (1) God’s Law (10 commandments) written on stone and (2) The laws of Moses written in book. Together these made up the Old Covenant ………..

DEUTERONOMY 10 [8] At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

The God’s Law (10 commandments) on two tables of stone were placed inside because they were part of the Old Covenant. The Mosaic law written in a book was also placed in the side of the Ark because it was part of the Old Covenant……………...................

DEUTERONOMY 31 [26] TAKE THIS BOOK OF THE LAW, AND PUT IT IN THE SIDE OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD your God that it may be there for a witness against thee

True,
i imagine it is because Yeshua sits at the right hand of the Mercy seat?
And for those that believe, have tables of flesh. Lively stone tables no longer hardened in rebellion against the Lord of Lights.
Blessed are the merciful
Or even if one were to understand what the builders rejected to see.

2 Corinthians 3:5-8

Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory?

What do y'all think Paul is saying here?
What was carved in letters on tablets of stone?
What's the contrast?

What happens to a contract when you break any part of it - is the contract broken or not?

Ask James. He said that by showing partiality ((Leviticus 19, not Exodus 20:1-17)) you break the whole Law.

Seems like someone is afraid to answer questions that challenge there interpretation of God's Word.

What do you think the answer to your questions are?

Of course it is referring to the NEW Covenant with God's LAW written on the heart though Faith to LOVE. Love is the fulfilling of God's LAW in those who walk in His Spirit. If you are still in your sins however you do not KNOW him who loves us.

Romans 3
31,
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

1 John 2
3, And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that saith, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

If your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's LAW which works by LOVE you do not KNOW him who LOVES ALL and you are still in your SINS

Now what about the other part of the Old Covenant which are the Mosaic laws written in a book ? Do you offer animal sacrifices if not then why not? (Col 2)

If we break any of God’s Laws (10 commandments) we stand guilty before God in SIN (
James 2:11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Romans 3:20).

Romans 7:6

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

Galatians 6:15-16

Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule

If ones FAITH does not free them from SIN and produces the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's Word, then they are still in their SINS and are dead only in trespasses and SINS

Ephesians 2
1
, And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2, Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:
3, Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4, But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6, And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7, That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9, Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1 John 3
6, Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him.

Romans 3
31,
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

pardon me but it clearly says engraved in 'stone' not written on a heart.

want to change your answer about what scripture says is a 'ministration of death' ?

James is pretty clear if we brake ANY of God's Law (10 commandments) then we are a TRANSGRESSOR of God's LAW.
Nice post my man!
James speaks of the Decalogue here and then calls it the Law of Liberty in Jas 2:12.

So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

So why does James call the Decalogue the Law of Liberty?

Because it has become part of who we are in Christ Jesus!

James spoke of the Engrafted Word. This is the New Covenant in our hearts and minds, the Mystery which is now revealed. The Gospel. Christ in us the hope of Glory.

Watch how GOD gave it to James to share, and how it connects to how Paul and John shared it.

In James 1:18 God says, Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Paul writes about it through The Spirit this way in Colossians, "Having put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of him that created him. Therefore he reasons, put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds".

This is what James is alluding to. That we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.

Now check this out Bro as we continue in James 1:21, "layapart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word."

The engrafted Word, this is His Commandants and Statutes written in the heart and mind. This is the Law of Liberty.

The Law of freedom. Freedom from the slavery of sin through engrafted Word. For God had said through Jesus, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant ( the sinner) abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. He Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree,. In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. That we, being dead (separated) from our sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we were healed. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

For He has said in Rom 10, the Word is nigh thee (engrafted) in thy mouth and thy heart that we may do it. This is which is able to save our souls. So Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass, but forgot what manner man he was. Which is now the new man which is after the image of Him who created him. For of His own will begat He us, to do by nature the things contained in the law, showing the work of the law written in our hearts, being partakers of His divine nature.

Back to James now. But whosoever looketh into the perfect Law of Liberty, that which is begotten of Him, the new man after the image of Him that created him. The first fruit of His creatures, renewed through the law; His Word engrafted in the heart and continueth therein. He being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work. This man shall be blessed in his deed. Because he has beheld his now, natural face in the glass .The begotten first fruit of GOD's Creatures. Not forgetting what manner man he is in Christ Jesus. Having received with meekness the engrafted word, which is saving his soul.

What was carved in letters on tablets of stone?
Of course it is referring to the NEW Covenant with God's LAW written on the heart
pardon me but it clearly says engraved in 'stone' not written on a heart.

want to change your answer about what scripture says is a 'ministration of death' ?
Now here you go again, cutting bits and pieces out of what I have posted to try and make it say something that I am not saying. This is what you posted correct below?

Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory?

What do y'all think Paul is saying here?
What was carved in letters on tablets of stone?
What's the contrast?
Now you are asking 3 questions in your post what makes you think that I am answering the one that you randomly picked out of your selection?

My response was ....

1 John 2
3,
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4,
He that saith, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

My reply to you was referring to the scripture and the chapter CONTEXT you are quoting from in 2 Cor 3:5-8.

It is indeed referring to the NEW Covenant of God's LAW written on the heart. You may have missed it
.....

2 Corinthians 3
1, Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
2, Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
3, For as much as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
4, And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
5, Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6, Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.
7, But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8, How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

Hebrews 8
10, For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11, And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12, For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

So yes what I have written is correct. Maybe you may "want to change your answer about what scripture says is a 'ministration of death'"?

James 2:11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Romans 3:20). This includes the 4th commandment which is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

How about you actually arrive at and confess an answer, exactly what is it 'engraved on tablets of stone' that the Holy Spirit says is a 'ministration of death' ?

Absolutely Scott! This is what Jesus is talking about when he says to the Jews that were trying to kill him in John 8:31-36

John 8
31, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33, They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how say thou, Ye shall be made free?
34, Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.
35, And the servant abides not in the house for ever: but the Son abides ever.
36, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

SALVATION is from SIN not IN SIN. If your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE your tree is cast down and burned in the FIRE because you are still in your SINS.

The NEW Covenant is God's LAW of LOVE written on the heart to FOLLOW Him in LOVE who first LOVED us. God's LAW (10 commandments) to the BELIEVER become the EXCEEDING Great and PRECIOUS PROMISES to the SINNER who BELIEVES to save them from SIN. God's Word is God's POWER unto salvation to everyone who BELIEVES (Romans 1:16; 1 Peter 1:4-5)

God LAW become his PROMISES to the SINNER who BELIEVES God's Word is the POWER of the creation of the World....

Thanks for sharing Scott...
