I dont know Willie if that parable would apply in this case. I always thought this had to do with salvation freely given. The anointing is Holy Spirit Himself, isn't that right?

And wouldn't one have to overcome much in their life for the anointing to increase? We all get a measure, and that measure in the beginning would be the same. So for increase it takes much time in the presence of the Lord?

Thats why I would agree. Not everyone is willing or even able to do this.

Do you see something differently?
In the past ten years, I have met so many Elementary and High School kids that seem to walk with Jesus like He was their twin brother, that I have to question the seemingly "understood" requirement for having to walk through fire.

This is another of those ways I think we limit God to having to only be able to work in anyone's life exactly like it happened in ours.

Contrary to what some here think, these people love God, and are worshiping Him in a way they feel honors Him.
How many times did Israel get judged by God for doing what's right in their own eyes?

How many times did Israel get judged by God for mixing religions?

When did God change & allow it?!?

The 7th, 8th, and 9th words of your post (24th, 25th, and 26th also) are something I may see, that perhaps you aren't seeing... and you consequently might be thinking you have to do the judging for Him.

And this brings to me the scripture that speaks about the vessels in a house.

2Ti 2:20 In a large house there are not only utensils made of gold and silver, but also those made of wood and clay. Some are for special use, while others are for ordinary use.

2Ti 2:21 Therefore, if anyone stops associating with these people, he will become a special utensil, set apart for the owner's use, prepared for every good action.

You know, I think you have a point. Because the fire is Old Testament. To remove the dross from the gold. That would be by obedience to law.

We are given Jesus, and we can access all of Him by faith. That's what the young do. Believe.

lol thanks for that. :) You just helped me toss off a binding spirit.

Any seasoned saint has learned to spit out the bones.
Seasoned saint?!? Who are these "seasoned saints"?!?

Since we don't know, How about let's not feed them bones in the first place?

Go to the babies, the children, and feed them fish with bones in them.

Sounds stupid, right?

That's my point. If it's bad in the fleshly realm, how much more then, that it's bad in the spiritual realm?

Most of the heresy hunter energy originates from Hank hanegraff.

A extortioner and plagerist.

Fitting how poetic justice finds its mark.
Who has to hunt for heresy? Nowadays it just jumps up in your face.

That would be like going fishing at Sea World.

Wow! I did? Gosh, God may have actually used an unorthodox person like me. (Nah! Too many people have told me, right here in this thread, that such a thing is absolutely impossible. )

From : 22 Important Bible Verses About Exposing Evil

Bible verses about exposing evilIt absolutely saddens and disgusts me by the amount offake Christians in Christianity. Most people who call themselves Christians in America will be thrown into hell. They’re rebellious towards the Word of God and when someone rebukes them they say, “thou shall not judge.”
First, that verse is talking about hypocritical judging. Second, if you live a continuous sinful lifestyle you’re not a true Christian because you’re supposed to be a new creation. I’ve even heard someone say, “I don’t care if she is a satanist don’t judge anyone” I literally almost caught a heart attack.
People don’t like their evil exposed and people don’t like you exposing anyone else so you don’t expose them. These so-called believers today will go against God’s Word and stand up for the devil and fight against God by condoning and supporting wickedness. An example of this is the many so-called Christian homosexuality supporters. How can you love what God hates?

How can you love music that blasphemes God? You’re nothing without God. Isn’t He your Father? How can you go against Him and stand up for Satan?
You are to hate everything that God hates. Every biblical leader stood up against evil and many even lost their lives for speaking against it. There is a reason Jesus says true believers will be hated and persecuted. If you desire to live a godly life you will be persecuted and there is no way around it.
That is why many believers stay quiet whenever they’re on the hot seat they hush up in fear of man. Jesus spoke up, Stephen spoke up, Paul spoke up so why are we quiet? We must not be afraid to rebuke others. If someone is going astray from Christ are you going to be silent so they won’t hate you or are you going to humbly and lovingly say something?
The Holy Spirit will convict the world of its sins. If we stopdefending Christianity, exposing evil, rebuking false teachers, and confronting believers we will have more people lost and led astray. More people will believe false teachings I mean look how many people twist “thou shall not judge.”
When you remain quiet then you start joining wickedness and remember God is not mocked. Stop being part of the world, expose it instead and save lives. The person who truly loves Christ is the one who’s going to stand up for Christ no matter if they lose friends, family, or if the world hates us. The people who hate Christ are going to read this and say, “stop judging.”

Continued.

What does the Bible say?
1. Ephesians 5:11-12 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
2. Psalm 94:16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand for me against those who practice iniquity?
3. John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
4. Titus 1:10-13 For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party. They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach. One of the Cretans, a prophet of their own, said, Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons. This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.
5. 1 Corinthians 6:2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?

Do you allow your brothers to go down a dark path and remain rebellious towards the Word of God? Have courage and rebuke, but do it kindly, humbly, and gently.
6. James 5:20 let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
7. Galatians 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
8. Matthew 18:15-17 If your brother sins against you, go and confront him while the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two others with you so that ‘every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses. If, however, he ignores them, tell it to the congregation. If he also ignores the congregation, regard him as an unbeliever and a tax collector.

The sin of being silent.
9. Ezekiel 3:18-19 If I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die for his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.

How can you justify the wicked and stand up for the devil rather than God? How can you call what goes against God’s Word good? How can you love what God hates? Whose side are you on?
10. Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
11. James 4:4 You adulterers! Don’t you know that friendship with the world means hostility with God? So whoever wants to be a friend of this world is an enemy of God.
12. 1 Corinthians 10:20-21 No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.
13. 1 John 2:15 Stop loving the world and the things that are in the world. If anyone persists in loving the world, the Father’s love is not in him.

Reminders
14. John 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
15. John 4: 1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
16. Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Examples
17. Matthew 12:34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
18. Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?”
19. Acts 13:9-10 Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?
20. 1 Corinthians 3:1 Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly–mere infants in Christ.
21. 1 Corinthians 5:1-2 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father’s wife. And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you.
22. Galatians 2:11-14 But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party. And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”

huh

well, you have a talk with God about that and ask Him about life before the flood

or are you one of those 'everybody gets saved in the end people?' I don't know, but you sure do seem to think sin is just an inconvenience when it is going to send people to an eternity without God

in all the time I have been here, I have never seen you defend anything with the passion you are working up to defend the goings on at Bethel

your views are so out of whack with what scripture teaches that I guess you have to make excuses for what you believe by accusing others of what you may actually suffer from yourself

you have mentionned hatred numerous times...no one else has

perhaps it is your own mind that has that problem

you never addressed the scriptures that tell us we can and should be able to discern what is and what is not of God

you just start accusing others of hating

you state we cannot know what is and what is not of God. but yet you can accuse others of hating

blah
And, again and still, you totally missed everything I said. I do not defend the things they do, just like I cannot defend the hating going on here and on the forums and videos you guys search out. I am defending the vilification of many God-loving human beings. I care about them. I do not care about haters seizing on "Aha!" moments to call others devils.

The only one talking about hate & calling others haters is you.

There's a biiig difference between hate & expose.

BTW, you just accused others of calling them devils.

There's a front porch that needs sweeping around.

Had to get a coffee.

Yes! I actually had asked the Lord how the couple I follow had gotten to the place where they are in ministry. It's like I've been in a fog. Lol Just receive when you believe!

You should be teaching. :)

How much old religious stuff has been crammed into our thinking. Can't hardly believe how free I feel. God bless you!

Okay, I did some research and discovered that Kris Vallotton, the senior associate pastor of Bethel, released a statement that read:
Apparently this is a ministry that evangelizes at New Age festivals with a booth and artistic cards that are clearly not tarot cards. You might question their methods but in no way is Bethel promoting the use of tarot cards here. As I suspected, Pulpit and Pen jumped to conclusions out of religious prejudice.
Thanks for researching. I've also been looking into this since Bethel has many issues.

Bill Johnson endorsed this book, and Theresa Dedmon is the author and is also allegedly on staff there. She speaks about using destiny cards at bethel:

https://books.google.com/books?id=p...ble and prophesy to newcomers through&f=false

So much for them not endorsing them? It appears they were involved. That said, it has many more issues anyhow.

Oh. "exposing" only works one way?

And I did not "accuse" anyone of anything. I told you the very words, you, yourself, have read people saying on this very forum...... though most of the time they just go copy/paste someone else saying it.

Jenny Hodge also posted a public video statement on her Facebook page defending the use of Destiny Cards and seeking to clear up “misunderstandings” about them. In short, she says that Destiny Cards are not Tarot Cards because they are original decks of cards, created by “prophetic artists” working with Christalignment. And, unlike Tarot cards, Destiny Cards do not predict the future, according to Hodges. Rather Destiny Cards provide “destiny revelations,” which she says simply reveal “giftings you are born with in your life.”She goes on to show some of the different sets of Destiny Cards her organization uses to provide readings. These include a “Love Destiny” set, which appears to be used to reveal an individual’s spiritual giftings. They also include animal and color sets, which purport to reveal the meanings of certain animal or color impressions people may receive during an encounter with God at a New Age festival. In short, Hodge attempts to downplay the similarities to Tarot cards. Yet, check out this advertisementthat her organization, Christalignment, posted for their booth at a New Age festival. Take note of the types of questions they claim their “seers” will answer, including questions about “life issues, jobs, and relationships”:

Going into new realms: This year Christalignment are offering you amazing encounters from the Third Heaven realm together with highly accurate destiny revelation using our own cards in the one service. As we guide you through the encounter, our seers will also answer your questions on life issues, jobs & relationships. The following modalities are also offered: Dream interpretation, Spiritual cleansing,Emotional Healing, Animal & Colour card readings.

Here's what I get outta this. They're using cards to replace general prophecy & callings of God that He Himself does.

The reasons behind all these "replacements" for the real thing is because God Himself is getting replaced by one that lets them do whatever they want.

Witchcraft? Possibly, but it's at least as bad as witchcraft.

1 Samuel 15
22And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.23For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Thank you for the kind post. And I want to apologize for the shot about the rules of argument. It has been a rough few days around here... a cousin who helped raise me just died, and it hurts. I miss him so.

But, I WAS a bit serious about that stuff. I began debating in 5th grade with the 4-H club, graduated to DeMolays, and spent multiple hours in Debate Classes...... to the point that I now see most of it as just so much baloney that seems to only be good for turning out lawyers and politicians.

Willie,

I'm NOT really interested in "rhetorical debate" to win a point,
like politicians and lawyers -
where truth doesn't really matter as long as you win.

I AM interested in more philosophical (logical) debate,
to try and arrive at the actual truth of a thing.
(This really has different methods and different outcomes... or at least it should.)

If I press some point in an irritating way,
I'm not just trying to be irritating out of sadistic pleasure.
I'm trying to extrapolate a point to SOME MEANINGFUL CONCLUSION,
such as what just transpired between both of us...
which turned out to be pretty satisfying and peaceable for both of us I think.

However, I totally agree with you that rhetorical debate,
with no intent but to WIN AT ALL COSTS, using ANY MEANS,
isn't the way we should go.

That being said, regardless of intentions, we all still have bad days,
and bad moments, and particular things that upset us.
Me too.
It happens.
We're all made of the same stuff.

I'm sorry for your recent loss.
I'll genuinely be praying God gives you peace about this, especially through the holidays.

Uh-huh. Just put a spin on the words and it is all OK. Who's that person that likes to spin meanings of words from the Garden way back when?

"Destiny revelations." Not cards to "predict the future."

Destiny = Future (synonymous)

Revelations = Disclosure (synonymous)

So, it means a disclosure of the future, but it doesn't mean predicting the future. LOL!!!!!!!!!! People are so easily hoodwinked it's ridiculous! :D

Destiny card readings

Choosing a reader

If you go to the Christalignment team page, you may feel particularly drawn to just one person for your Destiny Reading. This can be arranged through our email. All readers hear from the spirit realm with equal clarity for you but obviously some have different giftings that will help you further.

Dream Interpretation

We like to offer dream interpretation using the ancient Hebraic method for free - without charge. Customers visiting us at festivals and the market have the option of emailing us a recurring coloured dream or a puzzling dream and our dream interpreters are excellent. We do not interpret black and white dreams as these are coming to you from a much lower realm. Writing out and emailing your dream gives us the chance to ask the spirit about the message being sent to you.

Which Realm?

All Christalignment team members operate only out of the third heaven realm. That means that we are all hearing from Christ spirit. This ensures safety for you and a way higher level of accuracy.

The "Christ spirit" has a "way higher level of accuracy."

Isn't that special?

Which Realm?

All Christalignment team members operate only out of the third heaven realm. That means that we are all hearing from Christ spirit. This ensures safety for you and a way higher level of accuracy.

Can someone explain to me what on earth the above means.

I know Paul talks about this

2 Corinthians 12:2-7
2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— 4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 5 Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities. 6 For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

It seems to me he was resistant to talk about it.
It took him 14 years to talk about it.
To me is seems he does not want to boast about it.
Then he has a thorn in his flesh. Is that as a result of being called up to the third heaven?

If so would that not also happen to team members who operate out of the third heaven realm?

Are my thoughts wrong?

Why does one have to operate in the third realm to here Christ Spirit (maybe semantics here but should it not be Christ's spirit)
If the Holy Spirit is in us then surely his paramount concern is for our safety and is always accurate.

Do we not have the Holy Spirit in us?
If so why would one need to operate in the third realm.
Is that not already in us?

From what I have researched and looked at, this outreach or programme, wherever you want to call it is very dangerous.

Pick a card, any card.

Why would anyone go to someone for them to turn over a card then expect an answer straight away?
Non believers do it, they go to mediums, spirits.
I've seen a few do this and boy they are mixed up cookies.

God says seek him and him alone and he will answer.
Yes if a brother is struggling there is nothing wrong with seeking a mature Godly believer, like I do.

If he were to say "Pick a card, any card" I'd say "Sorry I'm seeking Godly counsel and not a magician"

Finally what is the Henna Art all about?

The earliest text mentioning henna in the context of marriage and fertility celebrations comes from the Ugaritic legend of Baal and Anath,[SUP][9][/SUP]which has references to women marking themselves with henna in preparation to meet their husbands, and Anath adorning herself with henna to celebrate a victory over the enemies of Baal. Wikipedia.

Henna was regarded as having Barakah("blessings")[SUP][where?][/SUP][SUP][when?][/SUP], and was applied for luck as well as joy and beauty.wikipedia

My counsel to all who are on this thread, newborns, those struggling and have issues.
Do not go down this route.
God does not work on the turn of a card.
He works in your heart, right here on earth.
