Ladies my question:

If you met a guy who was a nice Christian and a good guy and everything but had health issue, would you still be interested? Would that interfere with your attraction?

Thanks in advance for answering!

I don't think it would change the way I felt about them or how I cared about them, but I do think that depending on what it was it might have some effect on if I would pursue a relationship with them. But, no I dont think it would change how I felt overall.

If I really cared about the guy I stick bye his side
because that's what I would like him to do for me.
May your walk with God be sweet.

All girls should be able to say that health would not matter, but sadly such is not the case. Some have had past experiences that have affected how they feel. Some just don't want the extra hassle. Personally, if it was someone I cared about, nothing could change that.

What type of health issues? And how emotionally invested am I in this guy? Is he just some random guy I met on the streets, or is it a friend I've developed romantic feelings for?

I think it depends on what the health issues are to me. If I want a family and children it would not be good for me to invest my life in somebody that may not be there for me or the children.

I meant it as being someone whom you had romantic feelings for.

But even a healthy person can be killed in an accident and not be there.

It would definitely go on the "con" side of a pro's and con's list in determining if I would start a relationship with the man. It wouldn't be a determining factor, though. It just depends on how much I care for the guy, how bad the health issue is, how good of a Christian he is, what God was telling me to do, his job, etc.

I did, he was, he had, and I was. No, it didn't.
He still is, he still has, I also have, and it still doesn't, for either of us.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary earlier this year!

:D

If he is someone who just got my attention out of many and found out that he has some health issues probably there will be a change but it depends what it is, but if he is already my bf then the only change will be, I’ll be more to him… more caring, understanding, sensitive and I’ll do all the research I can to be familiar with the do’s and don’ts of it. It will be like it will make him see the sweeter side of me then. :DI guess guys who have health issues are more behave than those who are not so it’s ok.:D

It would definitely depend on what kind of medical issues he had and what kind of care would be needed.

Yes, I know a person can fall ill at any time (the "in sickness and health" part of the marriage vows) but my pastor also says, "Things don't go wrong, they start wrong."

For example, if the illness was caused by chronic drug or alcohol abuse, I could be their friend, but would not get involved in a relationship. (Why? Because I've already had 3 years of my life sucked away in the past by an alcoholic who claimed to be recovered.) For me, time and experience has taught me to avoid certain situations from the start.

I also realize I have issues of my own :D, so as long as it seemed like it would be a give-and-take situation and not one person taking care of the other person full-time, I would definitely consider it.
