I love the idea of having simple gold bands like this one for the actual ceremony/wedding.
Probably with an engrave inside. Because with diamonds or pearls.....I'm afraid I'll break em ^_^;; Engagement ring with a pearl HECK TO THE YES. But a ring that will last for decades would probably do better with something simple.

Diamonds (REAL ones) can cut glass. A real diamond is unbreakable..

Make sure it's a genuine pearl. Not one of the stupid plastic bead with a pearly-looking finish on it..

Honestly the ring I dreamed of was kinda,,,,a little weird looking XD I prefer a simple band and pearl but like if you proposed it wouldn’t matter I’d wear it anyway
Steph, you could make your own ring. In one of my magazines, they sell actual oysters with real pearls in them. You take out the pearl and put it in the included necklace..

WOW! I love the idea of making my own ring. And then I just remembered I have a friend who makes fine jewelry!
Though honestly no matter what, I would love for Blainy (you know once I imagine he asked my father or mother for permission XD ) to pick a ring and it be a surprise. No matter what, I would love it. Plus he already knows I would like a pearl ring so that's pretty much my only request XDDD
