Thank You for clarifying for me. I understand perfectly what you are saying here. It is more important that you truly worship God with your heart than what day of the week you do it on is what I'm saying. Worship in the spirit, not according to appearance to what others think you should do, is what God wants. He would have mercy from us not sacrifices.
CAN WE WHOSHIP GOD WHILE BREAKING HIS COMMANDMENTS?

Matthew 15
3, But he answered and said to them, WHY DO YOU TRANSGRESS THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD BY YOUR TRADITION?
4, For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.
5, But you say, Whoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatever you might be profited by me;
6, And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. THUS YOU HAVE MADE THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD OF NONE EFFECT BY YOUR TRADITION.
7, You hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8, This people draws near to me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9, But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

I guess not because the scripture says your heart is not with him and your not worshipping him while practicing sin (breaking God's Commandments)

.................

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30-31). God's Word says if we break one of the ten we stand guilty before God of breaking all the commandments of God (James 2:8-12). God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and if we break it like any of the other commandments we stand guilty before God of SIN (Exodus 20:1-17).

If we break any of God’s Laws we stand guilty before God in SIN (James 2:11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Romans 3:20). This includes the 4th commandment which is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

So If you not go to church in sabbath mean doing commandment of man?
it doesn't mention sabbath at all.

And not cooking oN sabbath is doing commandment of God?

let me repeat what I had say

you doing commandment of man friend, because command, ent of God is stone the sabbath violator.

and you mislead and Lie to us say killing sabbath violator is not God word

If I Lie to you and say 4 th commandment is not the word of God, do you believe me?

I don't think so

so does me, when you Lie to me and say to me that killing sabbath violator is not the word of God, don't expect me to believe you friend.

Wishing all who love him who first loved us a very HAPPY SABBATH from the future (my time).

A time of rest and peace from the cares of the World. A time to REMEBER and spend time with him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE.

The appointed time with our father in HEAVEN who calls us together follow him in LOVE.

A time delight in with thanks giving and praise. A time for sharing and caring.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

HAPPY SABBATH TO ONE AND ALL! :)
Happy Sabbath!

Many people set out to follow God's instructions on THEIR terms and not His. Judaism was not 100% their own religion with their own laws and traditions with no connection to the law of Moses or the rest of God's word whatsoever.
The Serpent also recognized and used some of God's Words when it tricked Eve into disobeying the instructions of her creator. Paul SAID SATAN DISGUISES ITSELF AS "MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS", Apostles of Christ. So we know the deceiver hides itself behind some of God's Words. But must also twist and omit many of God's Words in order to deceive. Since Jesus said the Pharisees were "Children of satan" it's no big surprise that they had some connections to God's Words. How could they deceive a believer if they didn't?

Matthew 12:2 - But when the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, "Look, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath." So the Sabbath is their own religion?
Jesus never disobeyed His Fathers Sabbath Commandment. He disobeyed your churches Sabbath, and the Sabbath the Pharisees created where you couldn't eat a strawberry on a Sabbath Walk, or help a brother in need. God's Sabbath prohibited neither, and it seems if you knew God or the Biblical Jesus,, you would know this truth. But you don't.

Acts 23:8 - The Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, and that there are neither angels nor spirits, but the Pharisees believe all these things. Is the resurrection, angels and spirits traditions of men?

You believe man can create a High Day, place it on an ancient pagan festival and place Jesus name on it to make it Holy. You preach that God's Salvation plan which starts with Passover and ends with "the Last Great day" are "Jewish" traditions and unworthy of your respect. What difference does it make what the "children of satan" called the Pharisees believe or not believe. We know these mainstream preachers of Christ's time were deceivers, Liars, hypocrites because they "Taught for Doctrines the Commandments of Men". Only a fool would believe anything they said.

What's your point?

Matt. 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Take your unbelief in the Jesus of the Bible up with Him. I didn't inspire these Words, I just believe them.

The Judaizers taught that in order to truly be right with God, one must conform to the Mosaic Law. Circumcision, especially, was promoted as necessary for salvation. Gentiles had to become Jewish proselytes first, and then they could come to Christ.

At the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15, a group of Judaizers opposed Paul and Barnabas. Some men who belonged to the party of the Pharisees insisted that Gentiles could not be saved unless they were first circumcised and obeyed the Law of Moses.
Because you preach the lie that the "Children of satan" called the Pharisees were trying to earn salvation by following God's Instructions, you preach that in Acts 15 the Pharisees were trying to get the new converts to follow God's instruction given by Moses. But Jesus, the Prophets, and Paul said over and over that they were not following the Law of Moses, that they were liars, hypocrites. They called their religion "circumcision and the Law of Moses" but it was not. Peter and James knew better having been taught by Jesus Himself.

Matt. 23:4
For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Peter knew who they were.

Acts 15:10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

You preach this is talking about God's Instructions and not the "Commandments of men" that the Pharisees had placed on the backs of people for centuries. James set them straight.

Acts 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

James didn't want to trouble them with religious traditions that cost the Pharisees their Salvation, so he just told them a few of God's Laws they were still transgressing. All 4 Commandments of God given through Moses. No mention of the First and Greatest commandments here because the Gentiles already knew that. They still had some activities to turn from that James exposed, then he sent them to hear directly from Moses to learn the rest.

Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Just like Jesus instructed His disciples to do.

Matt. 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not

Now you preach James is being a legalist by telling these Gentiles to change their eating habits according to God's Instructions He gave through Moses. You refuse to accept that both the Pharisees and the Apostles were telling the Gentiles to do and learn "Works". The Pharisees, who we know had created their own religion they called "Circumcision and the Law of Moses" were trying to "Bewitch" the Disciples and Gentile converts as they did later on to the Galatians, into following their version of the gospel which included their version of the Levitical Priesthood "works of the Law" for remission of sins. Peter rejected their religion flat out and chose to follow the instructions of Jesus and sent them to Moses to learn what God really said, not the "Commandments of Men" being taught by the Pharisees. The Gentiles didn't magically know what to do like you all preach, James had to point out God's Instructions to them, and sent them to learn the rest from Moses, like Jesus instructed them to do. "The foolishness of preaching".

This is true, but you have been deceived into believing and preaching that the Pharisees were trying to earn Salvation by following the "burdensome" Laws of God. This leads to preaching another lie that the Pharisees were trying to get the Gentile converts to follow the Laws of God. Which leads to another lie, That the disciples turned the Gentile converts away from the Laws of God in Acts 15. Which leads to another lie you preach, that God's Laws are a "Yoke" and Against us. This leads you to preaching another lie that God's Laws are "Rudiments of the world", and in Col. 2 Jesus battled against God over His Laws you preach are against us and nailed His Laws to the Cross, triumphing over God, make a show of God openly in this battle.

The children of satan were not trying to earn Salvation by following His Instructions. They were deceivers. But you preach these deceivers were trying to earn salvation by following God's Instructions like Zechariahs and Abraham did.

If you can't accept these simple Biblical Truths, then how are you any different than the Pharisees who taught lies about God, or the Catholic's who teach lies about God?

There is no reason to continue. You care more about religious traditions and doctrines and defending them than trying to understand the truth about the Scriptures.

We all, like the Disciples, have to choose between the religion we are born into, (Broad Path) and the true teachings of the God of the Bible. (Narrow Path)

all the posts you linked do the same thing I said ( which you say is not true ), taking verses out of all different books, conjoining them , no context, no chronological order, write in your own opinion commentary, and call that context.

1st John is letter. in the first parts of it, he talks about commands, then explains what they. that is context, not what you do. and what you call me a liar , when anyone can read your posts, and see what you do.
I don't know what is worse. That you continue in this rhetoric or that people like your post.

saying that 1st John is a letter is rhetoric. saying that one should not just pluck verses out of context, and then conjoin them and write personal opinion commentary is rhetoric.

you must think it perfectly fine to ignore context and chronological order in order to push an agenda.

If the 10 commandments had any power to make you righteous or good then I would be all for it. But the only power the 10 commandments have is to bring you to the One who has Power and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.
what if we had a thread, "it is good to observe sabbath rest"
instead of a thread that says 'you will burn in hell for not observing sabbath, no matter if you believe in Christ come in the flesh or not'

?

is it worse for rstrats to quote an interpretive perversion as though it is actual scripture, or for people to cheer him on for doing so?

When you build a new house, make a parapet around your roof so that you may not bring the guilt of bloodshed on your house if someone falls from the roof.

Has God made a parapet upon the roof of His house?

Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.
(Leviticus 19:19)

interestingly, this is the chapter in which "
love your neighbor as yourself" is given as Law.
((that commandment is not in the "
SACRED 10" no matter how much anyone may wish it were))

will i go to hell if i knowingly wear a 50/50 polyester-cotton blend tshirt?

is a person '
not in Christ' if they wear a lycra/spandex thermal undergarment?

have we obviously fallen from grace and stand in eternal condemnation if we put our arms in a sweater made of interwoven silk and wool?

why or why not?

serious question that needs a seriously justified answer.
i need to know, because i certainly don't want to go to hell for something so easily avoidable.
please put y'alls money where your mouths are, so to speak.

thanks

it's simple. 1st John is a letter. in the first part of that letter, he mentions keeping commands. then, in chapter 3, he says that the commands are to believe on the name of The Son and love one another. then he goes on to talk about love.

this IS context. there is your answer.

Jesus was not impressed with the religious leaders trying to enforce keeping the Sabbath and had conflicts with them.
The danger of pride of achievement is to think we achieved: to think we are better and fall back in a life for ourselves.
Like saying to God: Thanks I’m better, see you next week, and go build our own kingdom, like the religious leaders.
"Sin deceived me and through the commandment killed me."For those who no longer building for themselves, "Sin shall not have dominion over you are not under the law but under grace."

Many under the law have been blinded in part to see there has to be death before resurrection and that the law was given to kill our selfish nature but not capable of carrying us to the Resurrection. The Holy Spirit carries us to the Resurrection and it's why rejecting Him cant be forgiven. God is not pleased with Religious achievers building for themselves, desiring to be teachers of the Law. He warned them of being in danger of rejecting the Holy Spirit. He chose to extend reconciliation to all, since we all died and he took the blame for all.

Are you a Christadelphian as well LB?

Possibly from a Jewish background?

Claiming to base their beliefs solely on the Bible, Christadelphians differ from mainstream Christianity in a number of doctrinal areas. For example, they reject the Trinity and the immortality of the soul, believing these to be corruptions of original Christian teaching.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christadelphians
As a Christian myself, i.e. a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, I reject all false cults, as should everyone.
